Just as FYI (not spoiler but you need to know) -- The upcoming movie of the Holy Kingdom (not similar to the shorts you were talking about at the start) is going to be in between this episode and the next episode. So, although the anime doesn't mention it, there is a HUGE time skip between this episode and the next one.
To answer your question at the end (do we find out how transferred). There are clues but its not spelled out which leads to many theories. :)
I mean, with all the contextual information that we can get from the topic, it is easy to get an idea of what happened and how, not why, much less how the whole process worked and maybe we will never do it since it is not certain that the topic will be addressed in depth in the future.
Who would have thought that being overweight could be a lifesaver when confronted by an avid collector like Ains. Hejinmal is known among the other dragons to be smart so they figured he would be good a negotiation, he was quick enough to realize Ains was about to crush his heart. The other two wives now owe their lives to Hejinmal's quick thinking. Ains could step on his robes fall flat on his face and the Guardians would figure it to be some elaborate act as part of his plan. Yggdrasil has dealt with dragons in the past, remember that Npheria and Enri were served frost dragon steaks in Nazarick.
Yep, in Ygg dragons were considered the most powerful especies! (and they also were raid bosses i think?)

If any of the other dragons had been chosen, they would have tried to fight and would have been slaughtered...
to answer your question, they sent Hejinmal becouse he is the smartest of the bunch, as shown when he realized Ainz can instakill him and did the onlly thing that can save him, ie submit. also when aura used her ability on Hajinmal his heart literally skipped a bit, wich is why he lost bladder controll.
Shalltear said that the clan leader is a little bit stronger....
But she also said in season two when she fought Brain, that she can only measure strength in meters, she can't tell the difference between one or two millimeters....

I would say that the Quagoa leader is stronger than you realize... but the gap between him and Shalltear is wider than the depth that the Death Knights fell from...
14:59 just to clear things up Ainz is a player from the Yggdrasil VR game but he accidentally transported to an alternate dimension that looks like a medieval period with magic as source of they're weapons... So every attributes he have in the game reflected to that alternate world made him so OP❤❤❤
Most of the players that came to this world were level 100 because it was actually really easy to level up on Yggdrasil. This is because some spells and abilities used XP to activate, and also to let players rearrange their build and class if they didn't feel comfortable with their current state.
But there is a theory that a member of Ainz's guild logged into the game in a new account (since most of the members even deleted their character) and stayed during the closing process. But still, that's just a theory.
This volume was cut so damn short in order to give more time to this next arc since it's larger and more important overall. So, the cut details for this episode are these:
•Pe Riyuro, the head of the Quagoa clan, is level 38 and the greatest that has ever existed among his people. With that level he would probably defeat Gazeff without the Kingdom treasures with relative ease.
• Ainz decided to face the dragons alone, not because he underestimated their power, but because the world item on his chest is quite effective against dragons. In the worst case scenario he was sure of at least being able to escape.
• Dragons can smell treasures and their estimated value. Hejinmal surrendered to Ainz because he looked like a legendary undead, also because of his clothes that were treasures and his bearing as a ruler.
• Olasird'arc was level 46 and had only 1 level as an Elder Dragon or Dragon Lord. If he had continued living he may have caught up with the other Dragon Lord's of the new world who have a power level similar to level 100 players.
• Ainz found a long sword inside the treasury that he estimated was close to level 50, it was strong but not enough to harm Ainz as he has immunity to weapons below level 60. The interesting thing about this sword is that it ignored Ainz's restrictions of wielding swords. He put it aside before he could examine it with magic.
• Aura used her world-class item to trap the Quagoa in one of 100 different dimensions. Normally, one exit is randomly chosen out of 40 possible ones. Aura chose a specific one in which the exit of the dimension was always in the same place in order to protect it. This is because if someone escaped they would obtain the world item in the process.
• Some Dwarves were sent to work the runes in Carne village and over time they gained the trust of the townspeople.
• Enri and Nfirea are married and live together in the same house. The frost dragons were placed under the command of Shalltear who was put in in charge of transportation outside of Nazarick.
29:40 people theorize that, like other status (strengh, mana, etc), Ainz's INT _also_ became real, he just dont know.
In Yggdrasil a normal magic caster can only learn a certain amount of spells, i think the max being around 250~. Ainz, on the other hand wasable to learn 750~ through the ability called Dark Winsdom! Because of that, people think that maybe, the one orchestrating everything, is actually, Ainz himself!
Cause y'know Dark Winsdom does sound like itd make something else other than allowing you more spells on this New World. Like how [Fear] actually cast fear on someone now, instead of some lowly debuffs on players
The dragon that Ainz killed was lvl 47, in the NW the only ones that can pose a challenge to Ainz (in theory) are the "True" Dragon Lords. Ironically, if Ainz had been trapped in the video game he would have a lot of challenges to face as there were so many beings more powerful than him.
Btw, the leader of the Quagoa is actually stronger than a DK although he probably wouldn't have been able to defeat 2 at the same time.🤓
it has been havily implied that there are two conditions to transfer to the new world: one: you must be in possesion of a world item and 2: 200 years must pass in the new world. the reason the entierty of nazaric got tranfered is becouse Ainz was sitting on the throne wich just so happens to be a world class item connected to nazaric. now mind you it was never outright stated in the LN but a bunch of clues were droped.
18:51 That blade, if you remember her fight with AInz, will see her on her feet however many foes stand against her. Anything that cannot outright kill her will all but certainly fail. She was the Guardian of the First Three Levels for a reason.

An incredibly stupid mistake if you ask me, according to what I read, not even the pronunciation of the word is that similar to begin with and it ended up confusing many viewers quite a bit.
This episode in a nutshell : Ainz wants that loot ! And comply or die.
I remember this part in the novels as being one of my favorite. Shalltear's awe inspiring figure as she mows through wave after wave of berserking enemies like an angel of death. Despite her unmatched power and skill, she is also carefully holding back while tracking quotas in a desperate attempt to overcome past failures and prove her usefulness.
Grasp heart is one of Momon's favorite high-level skills. He is probably glad to have a chance to use it.
14:14 - 14:34 Unfortunately I have to disappoint you. Maybe I misunderstood you. But if you think that Ainz, i.e. Momonga, was in surgery in Yggdrasil, then you are wrong. He was a very good and strong wildcard for his guild. You were considered a wildcard if you buffed the group with which you cleared instances, practiced supporting combat mechanics and regulated, strengthened or greatly weakened the missing damage that you dealt or had to take as a group. He had far exceeded the maximum of Maximum Magika through additional classes and paytowin slots and through lvl 100. But as a magician he was in the game, perhaps just slightly above average. The skill comes from the Instant Kill Magic skill tree, at level 9, which is the maximum level for the tree; Grab Heart. It works up to an opponent at level 55 or 60, I'm not sure anymore, 100%, for all levels above that the probability decreases. If the instant kill fails, it paralyzes the opponent for 5 seconds. So a PvP skill to be precise. Ainz's avatar is not that strong as a character, he simply always had an ace up his sleeve and over 710 spells in his inventory that he could use freely. This was impossible for non-PayToWin gamers.
The fun part about Overlord is that the NPCs give Ains way more credit than he knows 😂😂😂
Edit: he said in like early S1 that "Grasp Heart" was his favorite 9th tier spell so it's pretty busted 😂he just crushes your heart from the inside. He's playing his role as an undead Overlord 😂 submit or die
26:05 Just a heads up there is a pretty big mistranslation here (aswell as in the next episode depending on the subtitle-version): the Theocracy is the country with the scriptures and south of the Sorcerer Kingdom, but here they are actually talking about the Roble Holy Kingdom which is in the west and will get a whole movie dedicated to.
So there will be a timeskip in the next episode bc that whole arc was skipped in this season.
tl, dr.: Theocracy = wrong -> should be Roble Holy Kingdom
Regarding your questoin at the end: There are hints towards the reason why/how players get sent to the new world, but in the LN there is yet to be anything explicitly stated as fact. (The biggest hint will come within this season iirc)
Theres only been theories as to what are the requirements to transport a player to the other world. The most obvious thing is that they must have been online when the game shut down. The other theoretical requirement is that the player must be near a world item, for Ainz it would be the red orb on his stomach and/or the "throne room". Another idea that floats around is that players with lower levels were transported at an earlier time in the other world, i.e the gods of slane theocracy etc.. With Ainz being level 100, he appears quite later in the other world's timeline.
Without getting into too much of a spoiler a powerful being in the new world wanted more power and did something to connect their world to the game. This caused players to appear every 100 to 200 years in the new world.

The father of the platinum dragon lord is the being that wanted more power.
There are two types of dragons in the new world, True dragons and False dragons, excluding special cases. The dragons we were shown in this episode were false dragons, they can use the magic system of Yggdrasil but cannot use wild magic. True dragons are the other way around and can use wild magic, they generally are much much stronger than false dragons.
I could write more but i think this is enough for this episode.
Next ep is a time skip, and there's a subtitle mistake
When the subs say "Theocracy" the correct one is "Holy Kingdom"
And the arc about Jaldabaoth attacking Holy Kingdom will came out as a movie released on this or next year (iirc)
We know how ainz got transferred to this world, but the answer is not in the anime yet.
It's also possible that they never show it in the anime since we know it mostly from contextual information and the anime tends to leave out a lot of that.
After this arc, there's a time skip after the next arc that's going to be adapted in the movie, so there will be little data thrown here and there that belongs to the movie that hasn't come out...
Anyway, the movies that are released up until now are recaps from the first season with some extra scenes that we're left out from the anime, mostly extended things that don't affect the rhythm of the series, also the Ple Ple Pleiades are little episodes, like specials that change the art to show chibi versions of the characters and tell small stories from nazarick that aren't neither important or downright not even canonical, just funny episodes of about 3-5 minutes long, and finally there's Isekai Quartet where 4+ isekai shows from Kadokawa get a crossover with the same chibi art style as the Ple-Ple-Pleiades, they are Overlord, Youjo Senki or Tanya the Evil in English, Konosuba and Re: Zero where they are transported to another different world where they have to go to school together with the other Isekai characters
we do know how the Ainz, and other players got into the new world, but if it does appear in the anime it hasnt yet.
28:47 y'know, i think so too! Weve already seen how some important/wise people said how Ainz is nothing like the previous "King Demons" or "Gods", and even how Momon or Jaldabaoth are stronger than the 13 Heroes (literally heroes of legend between them lowly humans).
I think a great example are the 6 Great Gods (the ones the Theocracy worship). Tho yeah they _did_ left them World Items, but i dont think the _amazing_ gods would left them with a Tier7 Angel (S1) and call it a treasure :v
So yeah, its my personal theory that the previous players were all below lvl100 atleast.
Also, i cant see how they wouldnt have made a WAY bigger impact at the world at large if they were lvl100. Like, if there were, how would they not have conquered/made atleast one kingdom that survided till this day? Theocracy doesnt count, because if the 6 Gods were human _and_ lvl100, then im sure there wouldn't be any demi-humans walking around today.
Also also, if previous players also came with their guild base, how the hell would a lvl100 Guild Base (like, yknow, *Nazarik* ) be destroyed by normal people of New World?
Tho Nazarik _is_ a bit of an exception, as in being super powerful even on Yggdrasil days, still, i doubt a guild consisting of lvl100 players would be weak in any way
I didnt saw anyone talking about this before, so im not sure if its canon or not. So take it with a grain of salt
Ok, the anime probably won't ever cover it, but there's a magic native to this world called Wild Magic which requires souls to activate. The Dragon Lords who are all equal to level 80-100 players like Ainz are the ones capable of using it. Over a 1000 years ago a Dragon Lord used Wild Magic that caused the players and monsters from Yggdrasil to start appearing in this world every 100 years. Ainz and Nazarick is just the most recent arrivals. The players from the past, especially the ones known in legend as The Eight Greed Kings, a guild of players with a floating island guild bass fought a war with the Dragon Lords 400 years ago. The war resulted in most of the Dragon Lords and all of the Eight Greed Kings being killed. Again, this is world building stuff from the light novels that the anime doesn't cover. Mostly because extensive talking in an anime tends to really slow down the pacing. So that's why Ainz has it so easy really. The majority of the extremely powerful Dragon Lords died 400 years ago fighting a group of 8, most likely level 100 players, who tried to conquer this world.
It would be awesome if there's an actual anime about Six Great Gods, Eight Greed Kings, and Thirteen Heroes :')

I did the maths.. so uhh Shalltear killed 83.33% of the total population of the quagoa if that 60,000 individuals were the entire population.
Whats not included here, and what a lot off these comments missed, is that in the novel, it was written that they had to cull their own children to fit the 2k requirement lol

The Pleyades shorts are non canon chibi shorts and I don't think they are reaction worthy. You can watch them in your free time since they are quite short, or react to them if you want 🤷♂️
The Overlord movies that are currently out are a recap of the first season with just a few new scenes. You can react to those new scenes to avoid basically rewatching everything else since it is 98% recap.
Overlord has audio books but I have never seen anyone reacting to them. You might find some on UA-cam that have some images and music so that it's a little more entertaining as a reaction.
