@@Nitram4392 but... we got both of their view in the anime and Ln where shalltear only checked his MP rather than his HP( she severely underestimate ainz's HP). She only thought he was immune (resist) to fire was because he bluff his ass out. Ainz also said in the anime that false data wasn't really needed since his bluff work

The not-so-undead, the unskeletal Ainz at the beginning was epic! Do some face-paint, or a mask and you could kill it at any animecon.

FUN FACT:
Ainz knows and can use at "least" 700+ spells and skills
His favs are insta-kill magic and necromancy
He see's everyone in Nazarick as his adopted children
The last moves ainz used in the first episode work like this. The clock behind him was a skill that amplifies instant death magic. In this case it amplified "cry of the banshee" a wide range spell that kills everything in the area. Normally death magic dosnt work on undead monsters like shaltear. But it was boosted so 100% of all animate creatures in the area die except for the casters. It killed shaltear, her spawns, any animals, the plant life, even microbes in the air. 100% death.
The thing he did at the end of Episode 12 was "The Goal of all Life is Death", it's a skill he can use once then has to wait a few days (I think days) before he can use it again, it's unique to his class "Overlord" which is a very difficult class to gain levels in in the game.
What it does is make his next death spell bypass any protection from instant death as well as automatically succeeding no matter what, there is no avoiding it, so he used it with Wail of the Banshee, which is a massive area of effect instant death spell. The only way to "survive" that skill + spell combo is to have an Auto Revive prepared, which Shalltear did, so she did technically die but was instantly revived by one of her own skills (could have been an item she had, I can't remember).
The death spell coupled with the skill was so effective that it literally killed even the land around them, that's why the whole area turned to sand.
Just to clarify, she revives due to an item Peroronchino gave her (not a skill). Also, it wasn't specified how big the AoE for Cry of the Banshee is but he did augment it with "widen magic".
The goal of all life is death is a skill that has a cool down of 100 hours
TGOALID is from eclipse class, not his Overlord race. Also, Overlord isn't a class, it's a race. Shalltear's revive isn't a skill; it's an item.

I like the comment about all the guardians displaying loyalty in their own way. How about the loyalty that Aura showed at the end of the battle? Ainz couldn't beat Shalltear PvP and needed an assist from Aura. After helping Ainz, she lied to Mare about it and probably will never tell Ainz. With Shalltear losing her memory, this helps Ainz keep up the appearance of being unbeatable. Loyalty.
It was rather Ainz became emotional killing a close friends child without knowing if they can revive her or not. He was more than enough to kill her. I dot know about any data that confirm your statement which is he would have lost for sure if she can hit him. But the perfect plan would have been ruined.
It’s not that ainz wouldn’t have won, he hesitated to kill shalltear, he wasn’t sure if he would be able to revive her after this, so to him it would’ve been a huge loss, that thought came across his mind while trying to break the time skip, he definitely would’ve won, it’s just more if he would’ve sold the fight bcz of emotions

That eye in the end was aura distracting shalltear to let ainz finish his spell... Ainz couldn't bring himself to kill shalltear and tat cost him a few second and time for shalltear to advance upto him.. And thus aura had to interfere
When I first saw Demiurge I honestly thought he would betray Ainz at some point, but this shows he's probably one of the most loyal 2nd to probably Albedo. So loyal he was willing to disobey to keep Ainz safe
Demiurge was always my favorite.

Because Albedo is only loyal to 'Momonga', due to the changes he made to her before they moved to the New World. Albedo has since grown to despise the other guild members for abandoning the one she loves. She is deeply in love with Momonga, and hates that he changed his name to Ainz Ooal Gown. Albedo is plotting against them in case they ever return, which is something that would horrify Ainz.

You mentioned the spell titles being cool. The author used to love playing D&D and pulls heavily from it. So when they're saying things like Maximize and Widen, they're essentially boosting spells or augmenting them in some way.

17:42 - He killed Shalltear. She died at the end of 12 episode. But she survived with Proronchino item. But she couldn't use it again. So, Ainz had to kill her twice through that fight. That spell with clock behind Ainz just destroys everything and everybody around him, so yeah, Shalltear died that time.
Many people missed out or just forgot to mention/notice that Shalltear have no master because the one that used mind control on her was seriously injured by Shalltear. She throw a blue light spear that penetrated the tank and the old man.(the world item was a golden dragon coming from a scroll which was held by the old man) so it was a big hint that there is noone who control her so she just sat default and attack anyone who hit her. Because she almost killed him making a hole in his stomach

when ainz doubted on attacking her he messed up and lost a second there, but before shaltear attacked, aura's eye interfered and shaltear noticed it but was happy she did...

Nice explanation! Just to point out some points. Ains' skill the "goal of all life is death" does not directly kill. It is just like a buff for other death type magic. Death type magics has certain possiblity to kill the subject but that depends on who casted it and who it was casted on . If 2 level 100 characters fight that percentage is almost negligible but the skill brings up the percentage to 100% making any death magic casted by ains that is buffed by the skill a sure kill. In that instance the magic that Ains used is the "cry of the banshee" which have a really wide range and since it was boosted by the skill everything on its range died even the soil that's why it turned to sand.
For the magic tiers i think you got that right but i think magic tier and weapon tier are separated. Magic tiers are 1-10 then the supertier. Supertier magic are so strong that only one person on your party can cast one and if someone already casted it the rest cannot use any super tier magic until the cooldown is over.
For weapons i do not know the ranking for lower tier weapons but i think for higher tier there should be legendary, mythical then divine/god tier. Divine items are so rare that even top players usually only posses one. The only divine item that shalltear have is the spuit lance. Ains on the hand when equipped on his usual attire when wearing the black robe is dressed from head to toe by divine items. Each ring on his hand hand is a divine item. Which is why Shalltear was shocked when Ains is not wearing them. On the first episode I think ains mentioned the staff and it is a guild weapon. The symbol of the guild. You are right that each stone is divine tier and he said that the staff itself transends divine tier approaching world item level but not quite.
For world items they are the most powerful thing in the game. Stronger than divine items and stronger than super tier magics. There are only around 200 of them and they are not neccessaliry a one time use item. Only the most powerful of them called "The twenty" are one time use and so game breaking that when used on the new world can alter the worlds law and reality. Hope this clarify some points.
There is a lot wrong with that info:
The skill [The Goal of All Life is Death] has a 100 hour cooldown and it just enhances a pre-cast Instant Death spell to ignore any Immunity or resistance by delaying the effect by 12 seconds represented by the clock behinf Ainz (it's not a delete button, and it can be resisted by using an Resurrection effect on oneself like Shalltaer did). Since coming to the New World it also kills the air and other things that have no concept of death.
Basically: activate The Goal of All Life is Death skill, then cast a Instant Death Spell that you want boosted by the skill, the spell's effect gets delayed by 12 Seconds but with the ability to ignore any Immunity and Resistance.
The area was not boosted by the Triplet Magic, the area was boosted because he used cry of the Banshee which is an AOE spell and used Widen Magic on top of it which increases the AOE of a spell (he could have used The Goal of All Life is Death with Grasp Heart but he used a AOE like Cry of the Banshee since he had to kill Einherjar and Shalltear's other summons too)

that's because when the anime is consistently having end credit scenes you look for them, when the anime does it randomly most people skip the end themes even if they rock, and skip previews, and some streaming services will offer like a quick jump let's you skip openings and end credits and goes right to the episode/next episode and you are none the wiser there's an end credit scene just chilling waiting to be viewed and no one knows

The Goal of all Life is Death is a skill that bypasses any resistances against instant death. Cry of the Banchee is a spell that normaly ends after the cry is heard anything that hears it dies. Combining those two together creates a spell that whoever heard the scream will die no matter the resistances or items against death magic after the goal of all life activates. it is a 12 seconds clock and the only way to stop it is to damage ains enough so it cancels the skill and since it is a skill not a spell he can move while it counts down probably limited to physical movements and a certain range from his targets... like 15m around him or something.

The reason Ainz can't beat Shaltear is because Shaltear was design to be the ultimate 1v. 1 player. In other words, no can beat her in a one on one fight.

There's a reason why Shalltear is the guardian for the first 3 floors of Nazarick. 1V1 or as a Raid Boss, she was designed to counter the enemy's numerical disadvantage using her World Items and skills.
Ainz Ooal Gown has systematically designed their dungeon base to be as hard to go through as it could get, which is up until Yggdrasil shutting down, no other guild has managed to conquer Nazarick.
8:04 A big thing in the Medival times (middle ages) afaik was the fact that, at least some subjects, were so incredibly loyal to their rulers that they would disobey their (or at least consider to do so) orders, just to keep them alive and healthy. Their priorities were not the same as the rulers. Their priority was nothing but the well being of the ruler no matter the cost to the domain. Thats pretty much what Demiurge was doing at 8:06.

When they're talking about maximize magic or triple maximized, magic is a concept similar to d&d, where the author got their ideas from in the roleplay game itself. The system would randomize between certain points. What damage you would get for example Indian d. You might roll one six-sided dice and you can get anywhere from one to six. What maximize magic does is it make sure that you get the highest number possible for that particular attack, triple maximize magics means that not only do you get the maximum amount of damage but then you get it times 3

IIRC Ainz also wanted to prove to himself that he is worthy in leading the NPCs. Author wise, this is to showcase Momon's genius planning as in his world, Momon remains undefeated in rematches.
That is he learns all of his opponents' movements and skill setup in the first match. He uses everything he uncovered in the first match to create a systematic plan of attack and defeat the same opponent on the rematch.
In the Novel it was made more clear that he didn't nerf himself at all. He used the robe since Shalltaer knew his normal equipment made him immune to fire but not holy attacks, he used the robe to trick her to use holy attacks which the robe made him highly resistant if not downright immune against it, had she kept using Fire Magic he would probably have died due to damage later in the fight (or had he used his normal equipment Shalltear would know to use Holy magic against him which would have been too much damage in the end). He also used other equipment in the fight not shown in the anime like a item that allowed him to use a divine spell to heal himself and so on, he couldn't use the staff since if the staff gets destroyed the Guild also gets destroyed and he would never risk that (every appearance of the staff later in the show is not the real staff but a replica without any powers). He took the revival ring off since he feared he might subconsciously not give it his all knowing he had a free death. Also he literally cheated by using Cash Items and the equipment of his Guildmates trough quick change cash shop items, he only won because he knew everything about Shalltear, if he didn't and used his normal equip without the staff he would have probably lost so hard.

There is something that just now occurs to me. I have been through this series many multiple times to the point where when I'm cooking I use it as background noise like some people use music as background noise and I am just curious about one thing. Why is it that when shaltire resurrected from the goal of all life is death she didn't get set back to normal but when she died the second time she did was it a matter of the item she used to resurrect or perhaps because it was a special ability, she retained her status effect. Did the world item have a special thing on it making it so that you have to kill a person more than once to get rid of the status effect?

Although it's not made super clear in the anime, 500 mil is chump change to Ainz. And it makes sense. If you've ever played an MMORPG and was in a guild, more often than not, you'd end up with ridiculous amounts of money like billions or even trillions.
And I think it was implied or stated somewhere in the LN (can't recall)that Ainz Ooal Gown, even at its lowest had several hundred billion. So really 500 mil is nothing
That said, even though Nazarick is rich, since they have been isekaid they have no way to replenish their gold which is a problem when there's an enemy that can override their NPCs main programing.

This isn't made super clear either in the anime, but there is a base operation cost for Nazarick. So, they are slowly hemorrhaging gold and any of the decent defense activation requiring much more gold which is one of the reasons why Archer and crew was a thing. They needed to experiment and see if they can keep cost to a minimum otherwise they would have been clapped the moment they entered the tomb.
On the plus side for Nazarick, they have an item called an Exchange Box. The usage of which is a measurement and conversion tool. Anything put into it will output gold based on the item's basic resource and probably a predetermined exchange rate. Ie a steel sword would just be valued as steel and maybe leather in weight.
@@jled787 That's actually untrue. Nazarick has something called an exchange box. If you put something into it, it will poop out Yggdrasil gold coins based on the value of the item placed into it. So actually, Nazarick basically has infinite gold so long as they have resources to put into the exchange box.

Guys, sometimes you speak so loudly that it defeats the purpose of the dub… Adorkable won’t be able to hear what the characters are saying… but then again, I guess that’s why you left on the subtitles for the Japanese. Another thing too is that sometimes you spoil things, such as talking about the Shalltear’s Holy Magic… they explained that later as Cocutus, Demurgius, and Albedo were watching. You sometimes also laugh hysterically at something when Adorkable has no idea why something is funny. It would be nice if you could let Adorkable enjoy the episodes a little more. Just some suggestions.

In the case of brain, he didn't let anything happen. He was so terrified that he had completely lost his mind. He did not have any sanity as he was running. He didn't notice his men there. He didn't see anything except a way out. His eyes were not the eyes of a sane man, The terror of Nazarick consumed him completely. Even after the experience he still has PTSD. As you can see, he's on the street as you said yourself. Everything in his mind broke. He didn't use his men as a meat shield. He didn't even see them. He didn't create the plan of leaving them behind. He couldn't even think that far. Don't get me wrong. You guys did show that he broke afterwards. I'm just saying that a broken man who's fleeing for his life doesn't think of anything. It wouldn't have the capacity to tell his friends run
