The low energy of defeat or the hit energy of will to keep the epic fight going to win at all costs or the happiness or wrath that you feel for the characters. Hollow Hunger is probably my favourite of the 4 intros but like you said they're all bangers love them all but 4 is my favourite, the background singer during the chorus gives me chills it's so good
Overlord does a great job of having the music made for the shows theme that season, and also making the into animation specifically for the song. You can really tell it’s a passion project.

The vocalist also duetted with Momocashew from Mili for a game called Limbus Company! (She also sang for a song called I’m Alright! for a gacha game which is also a certified banger.) Both songs are very very good.
I love your technical analysis of these songs. I caught so many new details that I never noticed despite listening to them hundreds of times. I liked seeing your appreciation of the skill of the musicians, and techniques behind the production. Great Work!
There are a lot of people that do the "musician reacting to opening/ending" thing, but I think you strike a really good balance between enjoying the visuals and offering insight into the music. The endings are also great, and much much different.

I'm glad you explained the changes and it's easy to understand bcz I have a bit of music knowledge. Japanese music is multi-genre, they make the most of each song by experimenting with different genres all together! The vocals are often quite phenomenal with their pitch control, it's really astounding to hear. I get happy when someone appreciates that these songs are hard to make and are very unique ❤
And by far my favourite of all Overlord's openings is Voracity as it hits all the points I love about that kind of music and you got everything I felt about it the first time going. One thing I've noted as the OP's have gone along, it feels like things are accumulating - like a boulder rolling down a hill it starts slowly and by 4 it's got totally out of control and is heading to destroy something.

First time in my life, I looked up longer versions of the intro music. 3 and 4's full versions were amazing! As for the content of the reaction Log Horizon Opening Theme - "database" was quite good and loved by many they even used the same opening for the second season, and no one complained about it.
If you loved the 3rd opening so much. It was done by Myth&Roid and the did endings 1 and 2. They're also really good! They're singer who left the band before the 4th ending did it themselves, while the band that did the other openings and endings is OxT. Myth&Roid also did the openings from re:zero which you should checkout too. Though the fourth was done by the singer after she left the band. OxT did the ending songs from the movies and they are really good too. I wish more people would check them out. Sorry for saying so much, but I thought you're reaction was really good and I loved the analysis so I couldn't help but give more information and suggestions.

It's probably not really your taste, but I still think you should check out the op of Kokkoku. I haven't watched the show and from what I've heard it's apparently not particularly good, but the op is absolutely amazing and the vibe is immaculate. If you like messing with time signatures I highly recommend Drift (Happy Chaos) theme from Guilty Gear Strive. It is a super unique song that I’ve been craving people to react to, especially musicians!
You're going to want to keep a few musicians in mind when reacting to anime openings, some of the biggest names are: Myth and Roid, who did the 3rd opening, there are also Lisa, and Aimer. These three are some of the best I can think of but people will probably tell you more.

Some of the best intros from Japan have a rock flare to them, but I've also noticed some of the best ones have a bit of a Spanish flare to them as well. Check out the openings to Record of Lodoss War, and The Slayers/The Slayers Try/The Slayers Next. All fantasy shows, and some how most of their openings have that little flare to them.

I loved this react and chainsaw man, but from hearing what you liked about those songs I think you should definitely have a look at Vinland Saga OP1 and THEN at the full version of the song (even if the OP isn't the full version, it does bring it's own great vibe, but then the full version brings something completely new to the table...) it's called mukanjyo by survive said the prophet.

there are full versions of most anime op, they get cut for time but the full songs are just more fun! but most people like to see the anime op so still do the video ver, but if the song is good, just make a follow up vid with the full ver!

I haven't watched the show and from what I've heard it's apparently not particularly good, but the op is absolutely amazing and the vibe is immaculate. You're going to want to keep a few musicians in mind when reacting to anime openings, some of the biggest names are: Myth and Roid, who did the 3rd opening, there are also Lisa, and Aimer. These three are some of the best I can think of but people will probably tell you more.

Yuki Kajiura, especially if you check out the Dot Hack Sign osts and some noteables from SAO (At Nightfall, Survive the Swordland) (not to mention that SAO has one of Lisa's best known tracks, Crossing Field). Yokko Kanno is another outstanding composer that has had her hand in more that a lot of people realize, not just cowboy beebop.

For me Overlord will be the Nr 1 anime overall. i can recommend the show but if you havent watched anime so far id say its better to watch something similar but less complicated first and then going back to overlord. "eminence of shadow" or "That time i got reincarnated as a slime" wuld fit the same vibe and genre without leaving you behind confused if you dont keep track of every single little detail.

Some of the best intros from Japan have a rock flare to them, but I've also noticed some of the best ones have a bit of a Spanish flare to them as well. Check out the openings to Record of Lodoss War, and The Slayers/The Slayers Try/The Slayers Next. All fantasy shows, and some how most of their openings have that little flare to them.
