  • In this motion graphics walkthrough ill show how I use 2D graphic design elements in my 3D animations to take them to the next level. I will be making two different animations in blender and ill show the steps it took to design the 2D graphics, implement them in blender, and make the animations beautiful. I love this workflow because if gives you as an artist a new way to make your motion graphics more unique to you and help you stand out!

After doing blender for a while I have learned that doing blender is not always about complex scenes but doing simple scenes the right way. This demonstrates that perfectly. Thanks for the great tutorial.

You are my favorite Blender teacher. Not only technically skilled, you are clearly an artist. I really appreciate that! Thank you for all your postings. I'm still working back into your old postings.

These process of thought videos are so good! Giving us the tools and inspiration to do our own stuff instead of just following a tutorial step by step. Keep it up please!

I love your workflow! Curious if you do live visuals? I'm definitely a blender noob, but I've been searching for something to use in a real-time live setting and stumbled into blender after getting into touchdesigner. I'm curious if you have any info on if its possible to essentially open a .blend and map controls vie midi or osc to the parameters in the nodes? and if it's possible to assign something like an lfo to a parameter to change it's value

The game "Pneuma: Breath of Life" was a lot of fun. Short, but interesting mechanic and fun story.
That said, great advice for fun graphics. I bet you could take these things and turn them into a logo reveal too, if you don't want to loop it seamlessly indefinitely.

@@TheDucky3D Actually a while back I did a number of your tutorials and turned them into logo reveals. www.youtube.com/@dnew92130/videos The light bulbs, I think the sunrise, maybe the "splash" one? I don't remember which ones I took inspiration from you on.

Black friday is near, and i trust only you. Which laptop would you suggest to buy under 2000 pounds. I want to start to use blender, i'm a graphic designer and i use all adobe cloud programs but my laptop start to feel the years and is difficult for me also cause projects are becoming always more complex. I need a big screen and amazing colors, but i want also a laptop that is not really noisy. I was looking for a gaming laptop like razer but they are very expensive, i saw cheaper laptops with better gpu and cpu. Ram is ok 16gb, i will change in the future for 32gb. Is like all laptops have their pro and cons and is impossible to find the proper one.

My opinion is get any laptop with a Nvidia GPU. Once you have that you can spec it out around that.
