Aah the locking is not for lead lock , if that is for stopping the lead from going inside then its useless because in any mechanical pencil it happens that we cant push it in , the lead is rather for the shaker system, the shaker system doesnt work when its locked so if its in ur bag or something and it moves it doesn't waste ur lead by pushing out and breaking........

You can,if it is 0.5 mm size .It does not matter what brand it is. The size only matters. However, Pentel Ain Stein are the best leads.

Camlin techno mechanical pencil is best costs Rs100 with metallic body and premium feel. I have 11 nos 0.7 mm and 4 nos 0.5 mm.
This pencil is now rare and you wont find it easily.
