- Here's an updated, video version of the Architects/Choir Noir- mashup. I did a really quick edit on this one, but I hope you enjoy this one... as well.
So I heard this choir version of Architects' song "Doomsday" performed by Choir Noir and it totally blew me away, chills throughout the song. But it also got me thinking, would it sync up with the original song and I could layer them on top of each other. Turns out, they do. So here you go, I hope you all enjoy this as much as me. No copyright infringement intended, just made this out of love for music and Architects. Here are the links to the original songs/videos:

The quality of their live abbey road rendition of animals is un-fuckin-believable 🤘😳🤘 I’m hoping they take the route BMTH did and do a whole live show with the orchestra.
I think bands like Evanescence, Within Temptation, Red to name a few really kicked the genre off. But this is fucking glorious.
Such much more dynamic, you feel the power and emotion of the music deeper, its almost consuming. Cant wait to see these at ally pally in february
Symphonic metalcore
Swear , that moment in the last pre-chorus (minute 3:43) just break my fucking soul. Feels like a moment of transgression, like Dan finally accepted is brother's death, like band knew they're was going to make him proud, and that his legacy will never be forgotten.
There are no words to describe this version. We feel both the rage and the sadness, and when we know the context of this song... My eyes water everytime I listen to it. THIS is ART
EDIT 10/30/2022 : if you wanna cry all along, listen in the order : Memento Mori, Gone with the wind, Holy Hell, Doomsday, A Wasted Hymn, Dead Butterflies and Burn down my house 😭 Architects is the only band that can make me cry like that. RIP Tom and long live to Architects 🤍
what is the context?
@@estelle_elith this was the first song the band wrote after Tom Searle’s death. in case you don’t know the band too well Tom was the lead guitarist and was around from the start, founded the band with his brother Dan, and he was the primary songwriter for the band too, this was one of the last songs he worked on if i’m not mistaken

the fact that even the choir is getting emotional and singing there hearts out shows how powerful this song truly is

Seriously one of the most beautiful things I've ever listened to.
The more times you listen to it the more things you notice that the choir are doing and the better the song gets. This is gonna be on my playlist forever

I've heard a lot of mixing symphonic orchestra with metal/metalcore and I usually love it. But mixing classic choir and extreme vocals is something new and it is amazing. Totally enjoyed both the Architects original and Choir Noir cover, and your mashup is amazing discovery for me. Thank you guys
