Miss Valerie has the patience of a saint Kevin. My wife will last about 20 minutes when I make stops to hunt for treasures before the fidgeting starts.

20 minutes would be enough time for me to look for a good deal on a knife but the buying takes much more time! 😀
That stone in the leather pouch says Norton. My dad sharpened knives all his life and only bought one brand. Norton. Thanks for sharing your madness, passion, and expertise.
per your recommendation, I contacted Ms. Langley on those knife sheaths. She is so nice, and helped me purchase three sheaths from her supply. Thank you for an outstanding channel, and all the information you supply. I have been converted to a knife collector....😄
I am so glad you contacted her and were able to pick up some sheaths! Awesome!! Thank you for supporting her!! God Bless you sir!! Knife collecting is so much fun!
Hey Kevin...every antique dealer in America ought to thank you...i'll bet a cup of coffee you are sending many other folks to their local shops...including me!... Thanks Buddy.
I took a trip to Eastman, but I was checking out hardware stores. Long drive lol... That one store had alot to look at. Good find on the sheaths. That one will be a good video cleaning it up.
those a great sheaths...nice score..also old coldsteel will be collectors in a while gsm is slowly moving their stuff to china and quality is dipping hard
Awsome finds Kevin! I have one of those case marine knives. I found it at a pawn shop in the box for around 100 dollars. They are well made! I also have a pal cutlery company camp knife like that in pretty fair condition. They are great knives as well. Very sharp
I’m surprised you didn’t know about the Gerber Paul. It’s an interesting piece in Gerber’s history. Also that Gransfors Bruks axe is legit. I have the same one myself. Great video as always!!!
Doc you need you a 5 gallon bucket and just empty those shelves into it to make it easier for you to buy/carry all those knives 😂. Awesome video! God Bless Y’all!
Hello sir. No sir, then everyone would know I’m recording. I don’t want to draw attention to myself by having a camera on my chest. I like the way I do it. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I thought I had murder hornets also but after more study found out they were Cicada Wasps! They are large also but only kill Cicadas! Thanks for the shopping spree.
I have one of the usmc camillus ny stamped on the guard that I found in an old house. I think it’s an original one. I’m not attached to it maybe would do some horse trading. Thanks for the video!
Abso-freakin'-lutely! Went on a maintenance dispatch to a Minuteman III ICBM Launcher about 65 miles north west of Great Falls, Montana, just about this time of year, 1974/5-ish. Temp started dropping real fastwhile we were workin', and by the time we were done, it had dropped to -15, the wind had kicked up to 35-40, as I measured it, snow started comin' in sideways, and to top it off, the Security Force Airman we had with us, bumped the connector on the security vault door and broke it clean off. Called for a new "A-Pit Plug", and was advised all surface and air travel between us and the bae, and us and the nearest launch control center, was shut down. We was streanded! To top it off, to conserve fuel in that trusty old 1968 International six pack pickup, that SP had shut it off, snuggled up in his arctic gear. When I went to start the truck, she'd turn over just fine, but had sit long enough that the good ol' MOGAS had frozen in the line. We had a two man survival kit in the back, with two good GI down filled bags, C-Rats for a few days, water, a small stove, lantern, good Comms, and a spankin' new 1973 dated (the year I enlisted) aircrew survival knife, as well as an electrician's folding pocket knife. Well, we stayed warm. For souvenirs, I let my Buck Sergeant assistant keep a big chunk of that young SP Airman's butt, and them blades "disappeared". Over the years, I made a more useful shearh for that survival knife, and the original, well, after about the 3rd or 4th PCS, you can about guess what happened. Great find!! Thanks for the video! Thanks for your service, you kept us safe by keeping our stuff ready.
Hey doc that hatchet that was on the bottom shelf if that said $65 yous should have got that. That's a gransfors bruk. They are hand made in Sweden and are the best production axes you can get. If it was $65 that's a steal they are usually $150 plus
I thought I pretty much cleaned out all the local places near me. But I always take a quick stroll. Like the Doctor just said, "You never know until you go look!!".
Yes, but then EVERYONE will know I’m recording. Not going to do wear one. Thanks for the suggestion. Plus, it’s a pain downloading the videos over to the phone and or the computer.
I'm curious what the price tag said on that Gransfors Bruk Wildlife hatchet? That's a high dollar hatchet, best in the world. If it was under $100 it would have been a steal.

There’s a link in my video description.

I don’t buy China made knives.
Turn that Keen Kutter into a single blade.
Kevin😢miss valier valierie is asaint
18:38 I have one of these that I found in an pawnshop perfect condition with a patina
Have you heard of a keen blade brand pocket knife, not keen kutter. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Just looked them up. Probably made in China or Pakistan.
@@theknifedoctor thought so. Thank you.
There's two kinds of people...knife lovers...and then them other ones.
I thought I pretty much cleaned out all the local places near me. But I always take a quick stroll. Like the Doctor just said, "You never know until you go look!!".
Yes sir!! Thanks for sharing this!!
minute 22:17 the knife in the black sheath with grey handle what kind was that..
Not sure.
Have you thought about getting GoPro with a chest mount to free up your hand to better handle the knives?
Yes, but then EVERYONE will know I’m recording. Not going to do wear one. Thanks for the suggestion. Plus, it’s a pain downloading the videos over to the phone and or the computer.
minute at 8:46 in the air force sheath what kind of knife is that
Not sure.
Is that the longer 6” knife and sheath? If not wonder if she has one for it? Think I saw a “layaway sign” in the pawnshop 😲
She only has the 5”
Hey Doc, have you heard terrys knifes and man stuffs shut his channel down?
Yes. I hate that too.
I’m sure that Case display will be sold in no time after your video. Those items don’t come along very often for that price.
I sure hope so! He was an amazing guy!!
Hello everyone 😀👋🇺🇲🇧🇪

I'm curious what the price tag said on that Gransfors Bruk Wildlife hatchet? That's a high dollar hatchet, best in the world. If it was under $100 it would have been a steal.
$165 was on it.
@@theknifedoctor that's about what they go for 2nd hand. Get them new for $185-$200
Doc!!!! Use that UA-cam money and get that case !!! I bet if you gave him 2800$ cash he would take it .
It’s too new buddy. I don’t like all that newer case.
Case cabinet ....... A good find ........cabinet worth 700 dollars ........never mind the knives 🗡🗡🗡
Jam up jelly tight
🤟👌💪✌️🫶👍♥️🇨🇦
When are you going to go on a road trip with 2nd hand George??? he would drive, or pay for gas??? I am sure???
If we lived closer I would definitely love to do that.
Nobody says cricket it's Columbia River knife and tool
I say it. Is it easier saying Columbia River Knife & Tool or CRKT= CRICKET.
😂
Gerber is such trash.
The China ones I’ll agree with you but not the USA made.
