Yard sales are my personal favorite. Picked up a Buck 110 yesterday for ten dollars... couldn't believe it. 1992 numbered series of 3000 Harley Davidson country roads. USA ROCKS 💪. Scored an imperial diamond edge Ireland stamped for .50 cents. Love it!! I shined up the beautiful Buck 110 using some of your techniques I learned from your videos. You would be proud!! Thank you Sir
Hey Doc...I like to find deals every time I hunt but when I dont I know it makes the times when I do find stuff just seem that much better. Its like you say I enjoy the hunt. Stay Sharp!
I seen a bunch of old Coleman stuff in this video.... that stuff can fetch a pretty penny and they are fun to work on and are USA made!!! Most of the the stuff works right away but it's fun to tinker with them and watch em come back to life 🔥
Hi there!! I found your Channel only recently. Needless to say, i'm a knives enthusiast, and i would to thank u for sharing your knowledge and your restoring tecniques!! I'm a usa traditional knives lover, stockmans in primis, but they're not that easy to find here in Italy 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️...i can see that there Is not much difference between italian and american flea markets!!!😂😂😂...keep good, and stay Sharp!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
New subscriber here. Thanks for taking us garage saleing for knives. Every August in michigan they have one called u.s. 12 heritage trail garage sale and its 200 miles long. I went this year and didn't come close to finishing it, Look it up sometime... There is one garage sale I go to often in the summer time and I found a old 1940-64 red bone case half congress sitting in a old metal tool box for $1 and here a few weeks back I found a buck 313 usa made muskrat for $5 at the same place. Pretty cool finds.
Good morning Doc, first off Thank you for your service. I'm fairly new to your channel. My wife and I love going to flea markets. My wife collects Fenton glass. I've never collected anything but after watching your videos I'm interested in collecting and fixing knifes now. I'm happy to report yesterday I started my collection; I picked up 5 1950-1960's knifes. Keep up with the videos I've learned a lot already from them.
Was nice cutco chefs knife in that bin would be worth picking up

I missed seeing it! I did find one in NOLA at a yard sale for $1, sent it in for sharpening with three other knives. They sent me a new one back worth $162. They found a small crack in the blade edge, they have a great warranty.
That SHARP lockback from Japan at one of your first stops is a great knife. That looked like the one that is equal size to a 110. I have that size and the 112 size of the SHARP knives and love them. If you ever run across them at a cheap price they are worth picking up. Take care.
What’s up Doc. Watching this one while waiting for the monthly flea market to open. Hoping to find something to send in and something to keep! Another package on the way tomorrow. God bless and stay sharp.
Looking for knives is great fun. I've noticed it's not quite as easy to find the good deals. When I stop by the knife booth at some of the flea malls, someone else is usually there or close by. The knife community is growing.
My mom was the estate sale queen. Back in the early 60s she would buy dining room sets and resell them. Found lots of fishing gear for me Model cars slot cars first series matchbox( steel wheels in the original boxes) . She either would re-advertise them or sell them at garage sales at our house. I bet she would do a killing nowadays with Facebook marketplace… she was the life of the party , took care of my dad a stroke victim for 14 years before she passed away. Too bad she didn’t play poker,,, one should’ve seen her in action, negotiating those deals.. She practically furnished everything from estate sales for my brothers and sister’s homes on the cheap.
I have one of those prince Albert ulster knife offer tins with paper work and 3 blade ulster OT inside the tin..i got it at moultrie swap meet a few years back..good place to find old pocket knives..
Well, at least you got some good stew. There always seems to be that one person that says they just sold a bunch of knives just before you got there. I have ran into that before. lol...
Kevin happy birthday 🎂 marine. I'll bet wade beat you to the guy who had the bucks and case knives.? I salute all the vets active and retired 👌 I especially have the deepest respect for those who never made it home. God bless America 🇺🇸 and be safe. 😊
I understand that you don’t find stuff every time, that’s basically how it is every time I go, I usually have to go to the pawnshop but they charge eBay prices. Sometimes I just bite the bullet and buy something. But I do buy new case knives. I been wanting to get a gec or two but the prices people want is ridiculous. I thank you doc for the video, happy hunting!
@@theknifedoctorI'd love to be there. I've got cerebral palsy, very mild cerebral palsy, and I lost my license. If not for that, I'd be there and I'm counting on next year.
Doc I see so many sites desiring to buy hats and sweatshirts. Maybe this is just my desire? I do not desire plastic snap on size functions! I am a velcro fella. But I love, Love, LOVE some vent rear hat material for any weather. As far as sweatshirts. Any Tax Paying older fella Loves a sweatshirt that our old flexibility can't do the pull over the head thing any more, without help? Ha! no one desires to add onto their platform probably for cost, even Menards, or Walmart are the awesome Zipper front Sweatshirts. Keep the zipper open when it is the cool, then hot fall weather? or zip it up for the walk behind show blower fun. You have a great day on Veterans day, and keep your chickens happy!!!
The bullfigher knife at 6:55 is a semi collectable knife. They were made in Japan and sold in Mexico to tourists. The automatic ones are the more collectable version but people still like the manual ones. Nice to pick up if cheap. At 12:44 where they said there were no good ones in the $3 box of knives I see a CRKT Fossil.
Your hat is really nice, that's the multi cam the newest style used by army and air force, I think you confused it with the old style BDU, very nice though
@theknifedoctor they went from BDU to the ACU digits which were the square green and gray color for Iraq and when the war transition to Afghanistan they transitioned again to multi cam which is what your hat is, and my favorite, also happy veterans day and happy birthday to the Marines
