You should try this weapon, yes, YOU. And you too. Feel free to join our discord! discord.gg/VAVKTPd You can follow me on twitter here: twitter.com/rehvion Oh and as I said at the end of the video, you may drop Blessed for a human pine resin, you get less effective damage but not too much(and you free stat points) Probably better since you need FP for the sweet sweet WA followup.
Dogf is It's to the left after exiting the church with the two lothric knights. There's a building that constantly spawns enemies, walk through it and at a dead end there will be an illusory wall.
Reloaded2111 im sorry that I found that out without looking at speedruns and playing through the game casually and saw everyone else doing it. I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings and the feelings of other people who didn't know about something that I saw everyone and myself doing who just play the game casually.
I've seen it a lot in the Dragon Ruins at the arena: people would fall off the ledge, and rather than hold forward and roll to avoid my follow-up, they stunlock themselves on landing right into catching the plunge. It's kind of a counter-intuitive thing, though, like wondering why X player didn't powerstance in 2 when I didn't even know powerstancing existed till a year after the game came out.
Michael read the description of the weapon it's a great sword with an extended handle our character just uses it as a glaive as he isn't of the same size of the original users
Has a blade, a handle and is big. Clearly a greatsword. Also hey, I was summoned by that Billy Mcfart guy over at the first ringed city bonfire just a couple of hours ago.
dinero_ 30 it was buffed to give more physical damage, so it's now stronger then lightning and Darkmoon blade depending on what weapon your using and what your opponent is wearing.
dinero_ 30 it gives a set amount of physical damage, so no matter what faith you have it’s always the same, requiring only 15 faith this makes it easy to slap on almost any build
By chance are you on PS4? I love your videos and just recently subscribed. It seems like your greatest ability is the ability to predict which, especially with heavy weapons, is incredibly necessary but I feel like you're on another level. Would love to duel you some time. In either case, keep up the good work!
1:35 lmfao. The SECOND he chased after him over the ledge i was screaming in my head going "PLUNGING ATTACK, PLUNGING ATTACK, PLUNGING ATTACK, COME ON....**Meme Voice Activate**...DO IT....DOOOO IT.....JUST DOOO IT!"
May we know what soul level you invade at? Going to start doing more invasions and kinda want to know what SL allows the most consistent invasions. PLZ PAPA!
Build is at the end of the video and here I was at lvl 125. Sl for instant invasions really depends from the zone, my favourite spots are Dragon Barracks/Dragon Kin Mausoleum at lvl 80-90
Blessed weapon works differently than other buffs AR boost doesn't scale with faith. You get a 7.5% pure physical buff for only 15 faith, the only thing that scales with faith is the regen. Still, this is not the only way to use this weapon and nowadays it's probably not the most effective(not sure, been a long while since I've used splitleaf)
can't people realize how shit that frosty great scythe is? you can counter it easily with almost anything of weapon it's a bit harder with straight swords
People see an easily spammable WA who's weaknesses can be covered by ganking. That's why gankers use it, and invaders who use it are typically trash, and end up getting parried. And I typically muder them after the second time they make me burn an estus without landing a single hit on the other 4 opponents.
You should try a faith build with the crucifix of the mad king, put dark blade or whatever its called and it does 483 to players, its my new favorite faith weapon.
I agree its my new favorite as well. Im using the Mad Kings Crucifix on a build with 27 strength 60 faith. It does 804 damge when buffed with Darkmoon Blade and two handed
It is fascinating that there are so many phantoms with lower than 1k HP at this level, my level 30 twink has 1k HP when invading (with life ring 1,1k~) but the worst thing is that most of them dont even deal Damage at all!
There are quite a few places where there is fall damage and it helped(think about the 2 spots with giants and the swamp), I just cut the invasions were it was really useful. As I said in the vid you're fine switching it for hornet,SP or something else, if you need that.
sirgaz It's a thing because of all the changes to the physical infusions (big buff to the scaling of sharp and heavy on many weapons), which is an indirect buff to blessed weapon since it increases physical damage by 7.5%, so you get much higher damage boosts than before. Splitleaf Greatsword and Exile Greatsword are two very good examples of this
Ok, my character is a knight as well. I was looking at your stats and wondering how you had managed more health, stamina, dexterity and faith (than myself at SL 121), then I realised I have about 8 more vitality than you. Thanks for the reply! Always love the videos :)
the first thing i did in this dlc was buy the splitleaf. been using it since. i feel the weapon art is kinda weak tho. maybe ive been spoiled by the paired UGS.
I (Personally) just love the Halberd. The vanilla Halberd you can buy, because of the Moveset. The others (Including the Lucern Hammer) are much more telegraphed swinging weapons, while the halberd has some quick linear thrusts, like a spear, and the Charge skill. It's also easy to get early, and upgrade the hell out of, yet also has decent sweeps to catch side rolls, or hit lots of mobs without being completely dedicated to "Parry me!" telegraphed swings, or using an offhand spear/lance/estoc for decent thrusting. But that's me, I wish there were a higher tier Halberd with the regular Halberd moveset.
...Instead of Charge. The charge skill is awesome for catching rollback, and can score multiple hits to grind down enemy players. Or, you can stand really still. Okay, fine, I did say Me Personally, but I mean the Charge weapon art. Not a temporary boost to my Stability.
Eh. In my experience, charge has a bad habit of not actually doing damage while glancing off a completely stationary and inactive target, before they R1 you to death. I would love charge if it worked consistently, since it's great at catching rolls like you said, but unfortunately hitboxes and lag are variables too. Plus, standard halberds don't have hyper armor, making them less than ideal for approaching or playing defensively. The red hilted halberd can mitigate that somewhat. (Perseverance enables and boosts poise, like a talisman does for miracles. I assume you meant poise, because stability is something else entirely; it determines how much stamina damage you take while blocking)
It's not competetive in PvP, does all right against non-Knight mobs, and even some Bosses (In and out during the first phase of the Cursed Tree nutsack battle) but against Raiders, and Invaders the Charge does all right if they panic roll-spam, or in Pusuit. For Dueling? Nah, it's too telegraphed. Got a shield? Use it and reposte. Don't even equip it, too much weight, but it does have it' uses, and that's why it's my favorite Halberd. If you're charging someone with any Stability while they're on their feet, ur doin it wrong, do a barrel-roll. It's got a nifty moveset, but it's not really Scalable for dueling. If it was, then it would be a lot better, but the timing/distance and predicting is tricky using it against players. Why I tend to prefer to hold it in reserve for when they start predictably rolling back, some players do that. I mostyl use it against Invaders, preferably with a good ambush spot (Not a hall, but it helps to have a wall on 1 side, high ground doesn't give much advantage) and pressure them in close. (Keep in mind I switch out between the Black Knight Shield, an Estoc, and lately the Sellswords with the Weapon Skill on the shield, so I can pop out any of them, Charge, Shield Splitter and whirling death from behind Block. Only really ever 2H the Sellswords to get the full range of slashy attacks when surrounded.) Most of my weapons are chosen for the available attacks, not their stats. Not that I'm a dedicated top-tier dueler. I like the set design, and From Software (Makers of Armored Core) customization aspects, not pwning noobs in the spreadsheet.
Granted you sound more like a stand there, and Tank it kinda player than a roll around evasive fighter, or mostly expecting them in Duels. (About 67% of my total equipped weight is a golf bag full of weapons. If I had a Squire, I'd name him Caddy, down to rags behind the shield.) The Estoc is also for the moves, though still being competitive in damage for Dueling is just fine. The main reason I get it out is for the kickback attack (Instead of a Kick.) Don't really use kicks a lot, so I'd rather have the jump-back with simultaneous attack, and feint with regular jump-back attacks to throw off their timing. (Again, Invaders, not just standing around the balcony to wait for someone to summon, while running through the Story) You can also offhand it for Parry and Poke, but the Rapier is better for that, and you lose all the special moves that make it special to me. It gets really boring spamming the same attack over, and over, but the same kickback stab is also kind of nice for knife weenies. There's a lot of them, one knife or two, tend to just go slashy slashy for a bit in Artificial Idiocy, it's a good counter that doesn't take too much time, or Spamina. If you do it reflexively, because you get jumped by little shits with knives all the time running around the game. When Invaded, I find a lot of the PKers see an Estoc, and expect a certain kind of play. "Bestoc" play, which seems like an invitation to draw parries. I've landed a few jump-back/kickback combos on them, expecting a secont poke, just feining the first one, but i don't know how long you can do that before they catch on. Gets you a few easy hits early in the fight, without burning up a lot of resources at best, but i really feel good about myself when I land that one. Makes me feel special.
I've been using Lucerne since day 1 of release and it's so annoying seeing everyone and their mom jump to halberds now. I use the splitleaf as well but Jesus.
You should try this weapon, yes, YOU. And you too.

Okay i will try soon D:
Nod and Rehvion
Hey how do you get to the area at 1:50 in? I don't think I've ever been to that spot!
Dogf is It's to the left after exiting the church with the two lothric knights. There's a building that constantly spawns enemies, walk through it and at a dead end there will be an illusory wall.
Ah, I know where you're talking about. The murky staff is in there right? Never found the invisible wall, Ill look out for that!
3:08
this man legit tried to ravioli step through an attack as if this was Dark Souls 2?..
Someone needs to break it to him.
I approve this
The amount of people who don't spam roll when they fall to cancel the recovery animation in this video irks me
i know right?
What does playing Dark Souls 1 have to do with common knowledge of the game?
Reloaded2111 im sorry that I found that out without looking at speedruns and playing through the game casually and saw everyone else doing it. I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings and the feelings of other people who didn't know about something that I saw everyone and myself doing who just play the game casually.
Reloaded2111 fuck off

The Dark Sword is the best weapon I rate it 1/10
...excuse me, I meant R1/10
A halberd with S scaling? Yes, please.
"I wasn't born yesterday"
That means you were born after you made this video, which means you're a time lord.
Holy shit
everytime a casul is killed by rehvion, an angel gets its wings.
And murders unaware chaps in the new dlc.
not after the nerf they don't though
The Helicopterman: Ringed City Edition
Я не Шиппинг he doesn't use the weapon art enough though :( the helicopter didn't take of once
Mfw every weapon is called a glaive except the first actual glaive
Michael read the description of the weapon it's a great sword with an extended handle our character just uses it as a glaive as he isn't of the same size of the original users
Valor Nation original users?
Seeding the Angels is against the Geneva convention! This sir, is why i love you.
dark souls 3 split leaf greatsword but every time it spins it gets faster
Has a blade, a handle and is big. Clearly a greatsword.
Also hey, I was summoned by that Billy Mcfart guy over at the first ringed city bonfire just a couple of hours ago.
Crawling in Dexterityyy
It still gets an A scaling sharp infused...
Fun fact: you can block projectiles (arrows, bolts, bombs, charms, etc.) if you do the helicopter WA
What's up with blessed weapon I see it everywhere all of a sudden
dinero_ 30
it was buffed to give more physical damage, so it's now stronger then lightning and Darkmoon blade depending on what weapon your using and what your opponent is wearing.
dinero_ 30 Because of the new high damage on some weapons. Blessed is percentage based.
Was Blessed Weapon actually buffed? I thought it always gave 7.5% of a weapon's physical AR. Did something change?
Far as I know, it's the same, but the AR buff increases it by default.
dinero_ 30 it gives a set amount of physical damage, so no matter what faith you have it’s always the same, requiring only 15 faith this makes it easy to slap on almost any build
ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU
your hat choice is always top notch in your videos. good job
To be fair i seeded you cause you couldn't find me.
10/10 hide and seek skills :D
Dear Fromsoft, making a WA combo off an R1 is a lazy way to make a weapon strong or unique.
McHitler
That's how the PvP was before they nerfed all of the combos.
Why call it a Greatsword? From? Are you feeling ok?
From you drunk go home
The Wanderer read the description of the weapon
If you look at the description of the weapon it says "Long handled greatsword"
You've got some good fashion in all your videos, Rehvion.
Canonizing Helicopter Man was the surest sign that From has thoroughly embraced their own memehood.
That arigato thing is feckin hilarious.
awesome as always =D
2:47 what's wrong with the Irythyll SS? I personally like it really much on sl 150.
How much cooler would this weapon be if it was a greatsword? Imagine if it was a twinblades...
funny coincidence my laptop died ( OS failure) after watching this video
Guan Yu invasion
Wanted to say that in the video but no one would get the reference.
Too bad there isn't a majestic beard option in the character creator.
Rehvion and also I ve noticed that Soul series never had green gear.
GANCI SUN Now we just need Lu Bu. Make sure not to pursue him though.
Nicolas Villanueva MKC will do for a lubu cosplay, dark blade to add the extra edge that lu bu possesses
That move set Is so cool
By chance are you on PS4? I love your videos and just recently subscribed. 03:54 where did you get that from? It sounds super funny to me for some reason
take a breath
smell that?
that's the smell of a new meta, boys
3:08 Please tell me that host didn't just backstep into your attack. Please tell me these are conniptions.
DeeperHavoc conniptions.gives/
7:25 how the fuck does that dude have 2.5k-3k hp?
Nearly Evil 665 what are you smoking
3:08 Backstep dodging strats don't really work in Dark Souls 3
can u make PVP video , using only magic ?or if i missed a video with magic build in pvp tell me please :D
the demons' first phase music reminds me a bit of some tracks from ds2
Does the R1 and weapon art of the weapon really combo, or is it just people not knowing to roll the hell away?
That plunging attack was ace, he probably thought he'd dropped off to safety. Have you seen this is supposed to have a big combo?
7:44 y u no point down? 'cries in dex'
"cries in dex" Love you man.
8:11 Snake?! Snake?! Snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!!!!
you deserve moar subs sir
May we know what soul level you invade at? Going to start doing more invasions and kinda want to know what SL allows the most consistent invasions. PLZ PAPA!

Sl for instant invasions really depends from the zone, my favourite spots are Dragon Barracks/Dragon Kin Mausoleum at lvl 80-90
Actually, what's your opinion on the Spears of the Church getting nerfed after all the complaints?
It wasn't really necessary, :(
Pyromancy flame weapon is the strongest buff I think I compared it to the others and it has the highest weapon attack increase.
you think you could try a pyromancy build with idk, demon scar? try to make it gud
i love your videos
I absolutely love it too. The style the, well... style. and the rest is awesome too. Glaives are love Glaives are life.
I bet your voice is majestic af and thats why you hide it from us plebs. :DDDD
L1-ked the video, *Thank you!*
I know this is an old video but bcus his faith is only 15 does blessed wep rly add that much dmg? Or is it purely for the regen
Blessed weapon works differently than other buffs AR boost doesn't scale with faith. You get a 7.5% pure physical buff for only 15 faith, the only thing that scales with faith is the regen.
Still, this is not the only way to use this weapon and nowadays it's probably not the most effective(not sure, been a long while since I've used splitleaf)
we all know the best halberd is the minecraft diamond sword
can't people realize how shit that frosty great scythe is?
you can counter it easily with almost anything of weapon
it's a bit harder with straight swords

Even the URL is surprised
I want see you poiting down gankers :V
this and the rkugs are really good at stunlocking
I fucking lost it at the *cries in dex* part :D
Ever tried a faith build?
I tried Faith Str and Faith Dex but a real Faith build centered around miracles, never.
Maybe in the future.
Rehvion cool cool, doing faith dex build right now. Keep up the good work!
1993ECS you absolute madman
majestic!
It is fascinating that there are so many phantoms with lower than 1k HP at this level,
my level 30 twink has 1k HP when invading (with life ring 1,1k~)
but the worst thing is that most of them dont even deal Damage at all!
Rehvion, try that splitleaf with full havels + wolf ring +3 using the Weapon Art:)))
rikiponcho so you want him to become an apache attack helicopter of doom?
Why use silver cat ring when there is no fall damage there?
There are quite a few places where there is fall damage and it helped(think about the 2 spots with giants and the swamp), I just cut the invasions were it was really useful. As I said in the vid you're fine switching it for hornet,SP or something else, if you need that.
You know, if you keep pressing (as in press and hold, not spamming) L2 you can become an apache attack helicopter
one of my favorite weapons.
I haven't played Dark Souls 3 in ages, is blessed weapon a thing now or was that just trolling?
sirgaz its a thing
sirgaz It's a thing because of all the changes to the physical infusions (big buff to the scaling of sharp and heavy on many weapons), which is an indirect buff to blessed weapon since it increases physical damage by 7.5%, so you get much higher damage boosts than before.
Splitleaf Greatsword and Exile Greatsword are two very good examples of this
When did Friede's Scythe become the R1 spammer's weapon of choice?
Well with the weapon art you become a Disney princess with animu moves...I guess getting trigger happy is a side effect. xD
Combat Robot let them have it lol that weapon art spam is parry paradise.
Since the update doesn't putting more points into DEX give you more DMG than STR now?
Shiro Einherjar still gets an S scaling in strength so idk
Did this get nerfed? At 62 Str. I get 40 less scaling dmg.
does thi spin r2 combo as well?
3:08 when you just get done playing dark souls 2
40+ Poise achieved with magic build and spells, I'm currently at Soul level 123, still planning on getting to level 170, any suggestions Rehvion?
Crescent Wolf Git Gud
I'm sorry I had to XD
1:38 that was a hit sooooo epic!
What class was your starting character?
Knight but you can get similar results with a Warrior(with warrior you can go to 66 STR while staying at 125 but you'd have almost no FP)
Ok, my character is a knight as well.
I was looking at your stats and wondering how you had managed more health, stamina, dexterity and faith (than myself at SL 121), then I realised I have about 8 more vitality than you.
Thanks for the reply! Always love the videos :)
CRIES IN DEX HAHAAASHAHAH
looking good
Old Greg died because he drank Bailey's out of a shoe in the middle of a duel. Bad etiquette Old Greg.
Wait, does blessed weapon glow white instead of that obnoxious blue now? I know it glows white if you use the untrue dark ring but you clearly werent
It's been changed like... 4 months ago. or 5? I'm not sure.
Oh ha. Oops. Thanks. Shows how often I use miracles.
the first thing i did in this dlc was buy the splitleaf. been using it since. i feel the weapon art is kinda weak tho.
maybe ive been spoiled by the paired UGS.
Bridget Garibaldi It combos after an r1 and deals about 1k damage. it is anything but weak. r1 hold l2 press r2
ya fair enough. i've had mixed results with it but it looks rly cool.
Bridget Garibaldi FOOLS! Just keep pressing R2. There is no need to do anything else when your an attack helicopter.
There is a true combo that normally does 900+ on a strength build with blessed weapon. It's R1, L2, R1.
nice vedio
贡斌 i cant stop saying vedio now
More like BKG spin to win 2.0.
5:08 My volume was pretty high and got Shia Surprised
Friede's scythes in 2017 *DansGame*
how do you do the attack at 2:58?
Sturm Novahl I believe that's the weapon art into a heavy attack.
Oh shit, I didn't realize you could chain the art into heavy and light.
Regardless, that still let me realize how to do it since I didn't know you could even do a light attack to follow up the spin lol, so thanks.
cool move set
Why would you not go quality build with this weapon?
40/40 refined(2h): 532 AR
66/16 heavy(2h): 599 AR
"cries in dex"
hahahahahahahhahahahahahha
Video/10
lmao all them pancakes you did, it was only right
Why blessed weapon over darkmoon blade?
Tirany It increases physical damage

bery gud
Why are people using blessed weapon?
It's pretty powerfull. It gives ~50 pure phys dmg. It's much better than any pine resin and need only 15 faith to get it.
The music... yes...
The weapon? Not nuff poise.
>build/10
>died to them once already
>quality
Elijah Porter they ganked him?
I've been using Lucerne since day 1 of release and it's so annoying seeing everyone and their mom jump to halberds now. I use the splitleaf as well but Jesus.
*So many casuls...*
Rehvion Why 15 faith?
Blessed weapon.
