Have you tested whether the Lingering Dragon ring actually does anything after the cast? Near launch it only applied if it was on before the buff was applied.

I think its great that From fixed the summoning issue for Blues, but does anyone else think its a bit ridiculous how often they summon 2 blues for one invader (in my experience)? Even when the host has phantoms they get 1 or 2, its kinda unfair despite the buffs they gave to invaders. In regard to this weapon, bought it when I started the DLC and loved it ever since.
Atticus Remus That's crazy, man. The other day I got summoned as a blue, spawned in and another blue was already there on top of the host and his phantom. All for one invader. Dafuq.
3 years late but that RKSS is definitely viable for pvp. I've gotten quite a few double and triple kills with its sweeping weapon art and have caught people out with its poking weapon art. Not to mention it's also a SS with a long reach so it's very good all around.
5minutes spent on a host that needed his phantom to survive. Tbh idk why people run so far when its only them and a red. if your near a Bondfire you have nothing to lose at that point unless you die so much you never have embers XD
I'm kind of happy those paired greatswords absorbed all the reactionary cries for nerfs while this demon of a weapon seems to go unnoticed. It's as scary as the Black knight glaive was at the game's launch. Good times those were too, every host and phantom would r1 spam for the fences and get hilariously one shot by tank parries. Idiot duelists were so certain that the estoc was op meta that they would just walk into your hyper armor frames and get smashed. Every other reddit post was some casul bitching about losing in an invasion to another casul with the dork sword. It's going to be sad when this game's community drifts off to other games.
Google Namepolicy paired greatswords have way worse broken hit boxes... and only need to push L1. both are beastly for sure! IMO the paired greatswords are more annoying just because every gank squad had them... it's still worth being able to stomb launch scubs into the sky who use those weapons though.. lmao that Will never get old..
It doesn't need to be nerfed because of how easy it is to parry and how predictable it is. That's the issue with most of the weapons in the DLC, they have such amazing weapon arts and combos, but they all have some significant flaw for skilled players to exploit that SHOULD keep them from being nerfed. For example, the Ringed Knight Straight Swords can be backstabbed easily and almost everyone knows how to dodge them at this point(although I'd love to see them fix the insane phantom range on the L1 thrust), Gael's Greatsword can be hyper armored through and parried, and both the halberd combos need one of the easiest to parry moves in the entire game(a default R1) to start their high damage combos, not to mention that everyone knows what these combos are by this point, so very few skilled players will get hit by them easily. This doesn't mean the DLC weapons aren't strong by any stretch of the imagination, but I think the fact that they haven't really influenced the higher level meta all that much is telling about how FromSoft will treat them, especially with how completely worthless they'd all be if they didn't have their awesome combos(aside from maybe Gael's Greatsword, which has one of the best movesets of all the greatswords in the game and a weapon art with some interesting uses that you wouldn't normally expect).
This weapon is too much, 1200-1300dmg combos are very common, there is a better untrue combo though, hitting r1, l2, r1, r1, the last r1 will catch peoples rolls majority of the time

asmcint 7.5% of your physical AR vs a buff that does less damage due to going through another set of defenses? Blessed is the best buff for high AR physical damage weapons for the lowest stat investment and out damage bundles at 600+ AR weapons due to how split damage works and the effect endurance has on Lighting resistance.
Blessed weapon will actually do more dmg than bundles/resins since it brings up your Pure Physical AR and since it uses only 1 point due to priestess ring and regens you it is the best option.
"one of the best weapons in the game"... Maybe if you know what you're doing- I've killed at least 100 people so far using that thing and haven't died to it once lol... then again... who knows... maybe they all just scrubs

Two handing at 66 STR means 99 STR
2h 1.5s your strength so having 27 str and 2 handing will give you 40 str and having 66 and 2h will give you 99. (does not work with dex)

TheJessecarpenter I usually only chug if the situation calls for it. E.G. The invader chugs/uses scummy tactics or if I walk into a gank.
