FROM AUSTRALIA: Lovely to see the Cotswolds again. My then wife and I did a tour of England, Scotland and Wales, on a Honda 250 (with paniers) back in 1995 and loved every minute of the trip. We got the best weather in Scotland would you believe. You guys look like you are having a great time of it; brought back some good memories.

G'day Guys, Great job on the video. Looks like a beautiful part of the country to ride in. Glad you had enough money left over from Tea in Bibury, to get a real feed Breakfast in Deddington LOL. Anyway, Good Job, Ride Safe, Cheers Paul

Another great video. 👍🏻 Not sure if I’d be keen to queue at Clarkson’s farm shop either! 🤔 Been to Bibury a few times. We last went there just after lockdown last year. Nothing was open but we sat in the riverbank by the bridge with a picnic watching the ducks. It was idyllic! I’ve just realised, we’ve been to Deddington recently. We ate in the Red Lion pub. It’s a lovely village. I recommend some of other places to stop in the area if you haven’t tried already: The Artyard Cafe on the A44 in Enstone is a bike themed former pub and the food is pretty good. Old Post Office in Guiting Power, slightly off the beaten track. It’s in a pretty location and has a small cafe with an antique shop upstairs. Aston Pottery in Aston, Oxon it has a lovely cafe and shop attached and they make/sell their own pottery. I went with a few other lady bikers. Sadly, I didn’t have enough room on the bike to buy much! 🙁 Look forward to the next instalment! 👍🏻
Thanks very much! We appreciate the tips - always good to have recommendations of places to visit 👍 we loved Bibury and it does make a difference if the sun shines ☀️😀!
Another enjoyable video of your Cotswold trip, it looks really idyllic. I am sure Henry Cole frequents the area on his bike from what I remember on the BIKE SHOW. Having recently traded in my little Beemer for a Yamaha Tracer, I am now really liking your Triumph 900 in red. Very relaxing informative viewing, just let it keep coming.
I really like this episode again ...cute little villages 😍. Nice music in the Background.. I'm looking forward for your next tour🤗took my time to watch all of your previous episodes. Really great trips that you both have already made, Loved them all....Cheers 🍻😉

Great stuff as always. Enlightening and cultured but always down to earth. Early middle aged at the moment but itching to semi-retire and start doing such lovely trips. Work doesn’t allow at the moment. You both make it seem cool and effortless though I know the videos are a lot of work to process. Have had a lot of luck with AirBnB in Spain and Italy but the research burden is great, you save money, get good locations but have to check everything out very carefully - reviews and streetview etc. One of the very best channels on UA-cam for motorcycling and motovlogging
Thanks very much Graham! We really appreciate your comments - when you get a chance to do the same kind of trips you’ll love it 😍 you’re absolutely right about the research into accommodation - it’s very time consuming 🙁 but it’s important to make sure it works for bikers! 👍😀
Another very enjoyable vlog. Why is it when one buys a couple of ice cream cones and then confronted with a camera we always raise them as if they were trophies or something we'd not seen before? We all do it and it makes me smile. Ride safe.
Another cracking video Brian and Sue, always enjoy your ride out's and appreciate the work involved in all the editing work (trust me I know lol). A great mixture of riding, informative narration and music which I believe you must subscribe to now as I can never find copyright free tunes as good as your's. Keep up the good work as it is so enjoyable thanks.

We really appreciate your feedback ( as a fellow vlogger 👍! ) I found the You Tube free music a bit limited so I subscribed to epidemic sounds ( there’s a link in the video description to get a free trial) it’s really very good with great a choice of lots of styles - worth checking out Steve. Thanks very much Drew! We really appreciate your comments 😀 and you’re absolutely right, you can have fun just riding anywhere - if you’re with the right person! 😀👍

Another really well made vid. Like Steve Clarke, I can appreciate the amount of work you put into making these vids; it really is showing in views and subs 👍👍 The Cotswolds is high on our list of places to visit but as a former farmer I will not be queuing up for a glimpse of Jeremy Clarkson's fruit and veg. I suspect the locals hate the hoards descending. For a slice of proper farming I can recommend Harry's Farm based in Burford (Harry Metcalf of Harry's garage)
Thanks Richard! Didn’t know you were a farmer 👏 we definitely wouldn’t queue for any shop but it was interesting to see - I’m sure the locals get mightily fed up with the traffic 🙁 but on the plus side his Amazon show did highlight just how difficult and challenging farming really is - we had no idea how hard it is. Never come across Harry’s Farm - I’ll check it out! As ever, always appreciate your feedback! 👍😀

We decided against that- didn’t want to attach wires/mics and anything else to our helmets! 😀👍
Nice video, I'm surprised you missed out all the biker haunts on your route KOTI Autotalli in Chipping Camden , The Cotswold Cafe between Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Norton and The Classic Motor hub in Bibury. All nice places to stop none are greasy spoons.
I live just down the road from Diddly Squat but have yet to get into the shop. Tried twice including yesterday but the queues are horrendous. Think I’ll wait till the fuss has died down!
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries Yeah - it’s grown massively since first time I tried to visit in June. Locals all up in arms because of cars blocking the roads! All went mad after the series went on air. Sadly it’s very unpopular with the locals - loads of extra traffic and no benefit to the local community at all. Be interesting to see how things pan out in the medium term.
My wife and i always look forward to your fantastic video's, im not surprised it wasn't biker friendly at diddly squat , Clarksons so anti motorbike, possibly down to his inability to ride one properly? Having said that we did enjoy "Clarksons farm " , stay safe and keep making the videos 👍🏻
Thank you Richard! You’re right, unlike James May and Richard Hammond he’s not a bike man 🙁 but he is good at making entertaining programmes 😀 I enjoyed Clarkson’s Farm more than Top Gear! 😀👍
Hey you missed out that ‘ this country’ was filmed in North leach. Funniest programs ever. Did you meet Big Mandy ? Love your Channel, you are cool like me and my Mrs except she doesn’t ride a bike and we are in a motor home. Er similarly cool..,,
This video just popped up in our feed. My wife and I ride BMW's as well. Loved following you guys on your ride through the beautiful countryside. I noticed the Route 66 stickers on your motorbikes. Did you guys bring your bikes to the USA and ride? We have subscribed. Looking forward to watching more of your videos and following your journeys.
Thanks very much Larry🙏 sadly, we didn’t bring our own bikes - we wanted to but it was too expensive so we hired them in LA and rode some Route 66 on the way to Las Vegas. We loved it! 😍 we love the idea of Livin Life Loud! Thanks for watching! 😀👍
I'm not surprised how busy didly squat farm was🙃loved the stardust film location village👌by the way, what make are those small accessory lights on the tiger & are you happy with them?
Thanks Dwayne! Bibury village is lovely and not a surprise it’s been used for lots of films 😀 the spotlights on my Tiger come as standard on the GT Pro but if you have crash bars fitted they locate them on the actual crash bars. I really like them - it’s always good to see and be seen! 😀👍
Another fantastic video, I can see there's a lot of work in involved here. Exceptional quality. How about the 900 GT Pro ? Are you still enjoying it and is it living up to expectations ? Thanks for making, cheers 🍻
Hi, I absolutely love it! I didn’t expect it to be so much better (for me) than the 800, particularly as I really got comfortable with the XRT, but it’s just perfect and confidence inspiring! 😀👍
Do you think senior Clarkson called it Diddly Squat for taxation purposes ???lol Visited Doddingtons brewery pub in the late 60s. still the best beer Ive ever tasted. Was the last horse drawn beer delivery back then. Been disappointed everywhere else so became a tea totaller. Great vid. Now living in W. Aus since 74 and now inspired to revisit the Cotswolds (if we are ever allowed to travel again) and to buy a Honda ST 1300. Ever had one? What was the air bnb costs? Thanks again.
Thank you Brian! He’s a canny businessman so you could be right 😂 I always love local breweries too 👍 I bet W. Aus is a bit of a change - all that space and heat ☀️ never had a Honda but I’ve heard good things about them! Good choice if you ever make it over! The Airbnb was an overpriced £110 🙁 Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! 👍😀
Thany you for sharing this video. I am going for a trip to the UK from The Netherlands in June and your video did gave some inspiration and I changed my route a bit. One question, did you parked in a spot between cars in Chipping Camden near the market? Not sure what is allowed with a motorcycle and what not in the UK.
Thank you Roland! We actually parked in in a car parking spot in Chipping Campden - both bikes in one car spot - all perfectly legitimate! 👍 parking is always a challenge in the little Cotswolds villages but we hope you enjoy your tour in June. Thanks for watching! 👍😀
To be honest I’m not exactly sure - it’s just on the low setting with the standard chassis. I’ve got a 32” leg and can flat foot it comfortably! Hope that helps! 😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries - ha ha. Would you mind going there and checking out a nice hotel with motorcycle parking for us - for August. No rush… 😂🥏🏍🍻

Premier Inns have become very expensive. I was charged £200 a night recently. Clark sons farm shop not biker friendly - you surprise me 😄 nor is the man himself.
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries it is normally more than some other locations of course but they have more than doubled the price from before the pandemic - blatant profiteering. I was hoping the prices were going to reduce again before my stay but they seem to be holding firm so will be cancelling unfortunately. No biking holiday for me this year again.

Thank you! Never come across those 🤔 wish we’d have known! Thanks for the tips! 😀👍
I live just down the road from Diddly Squat but have yet to get into the shop. Tried twice including yesterday but the queues are horrendous. Think I’ll wait till the fuss has died down!
It’s quite unbelievable 😳 ! The size of the car park shocked us - wish it was my business! 😂😂
@@robwilkie1 Yes, I was wondering how the locals felt about it? 🙁
Er similarly cool..,,
Thanks Simon! I’d no idea it was filmed in Northleach - very funny programme 😂 !
Oh and we trailer our Goldwing with us for days out from the camp site.
Wow! Now that is cool! 😀👍
I always carry a thick rubber pad to stick under the kick stand if I have to park on gravel.
Thanks Brian - we’ve both got them now!😀👍
Another fantastic video, I can see there's a lot of work in involved here.
Do you think senior Clarkson called it Diddly Squat for taxation purposes ???lol
Visited Doddingtons brewery pub in the late 60s. still the best beer Ive ever tasted.
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries thanks for the reply and information!
Was there a typo at the 400yr old market? Surely it didn't cost £90 to have a look inside :)
😂 no it cost £90 to build it in 1627! Thanks for pointing that out - it was my fault for confusing people! 😂
Hi Sue could I ask what is the seat height on your triumph.....thankyou
To be honest I’m not exactly sure - it’s just on the low setting with the standard chassis. I’ve got a 32” leg and can flat foot it comfortably! Hope that helps! 😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries thanks for reply 👍 appreciated!
Hi. Which episode did you cover Sherborne? Did you stay in Sherborne?
Hi Pete, we actually never stayed in Sherborne 🤔 not even sure we’ve ever ridden through it? 👍😀
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries - thanks. Just imagined you had. Thanks.
You had us wondering! 😂
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries - ha ha. Would you mind going there and checking out a nice hotel with motorcycle parking for us - for August. No rush… 😂🥏🏍🍻
😂😂😂
Would have looked great in 4K!
Thanks Andy - yes, I need to experiment and see how much memory 4K takes up! 👍😀
Why did you expect a biker friendly car park at Clarkson’s ?
I can never recall him being Biker friendly .
No you’re absolutely right! Weird really when you think Hammond and May have lots of bikes between them 👍😀
A.N. Other Biker. "Oh look! There's Clarkson's Farm up ahead. Shop, Shall we stop and have a look?
ME. Errrr... as I Drop down two gears and open the throttle to the stops! That's a No then!
😂😂😂!
Should have said, could have met up for a ride & ☕️
Great informative video, rather hear your bike instead of the sound track . Just my opinion
Thanks David! Appreciate your comments! 👍😀
Ah, you found Clarkson's gaff.
Yes we did! 😀 having watched the programme we had to! Interesting, but not interesting enough to queue 😂!
Premier Inns have become very expensive. I was charged £200 a night recently. Clark sons farm shop not biker friendly - you surprise me 😄 nor is the man himself.
Thanks Ian! Wow 😱£200 !! Where was that? We’ll make sure we don’t go! 😉 yes, he’s certainly not a fan of bikes - should stick to farming! 😀😍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries Torquay Seafront and that’s offseason next month.
@@ianfutcher1518 I guess the seafront makes the difference !
@@ianfutcher1518 that’s a real shame - I don’t think these places are doing themselves any favours by inflating the prices so much - people just won’t go 🤷♂️
