    To get someone to experience diaphragmatic breathing: exhale as much as you can and feel your stomach pulling to your spine, wait until you can’t hold anymore, then don’t think about breathing - just let your stomach muscle (diaphragm) go, as it releases out, you suck air in without thinking about it - THAT is diaphragmatic breathing. 🧘

    This guy's voice over is the greatest! With all of the audio gems throughout, the best is where he shouts only a part of the sentence with exclamation - where it's not even needed! The cadence is almost startling at times LOL. It's like a comedy sketch will very accurate and useful info. It's a two for one 🤣

    Thank You DR. Alekseev. Fantastic Info to help people around the World. The Info I'm finding here is more than anywhere else. There are hundreds of PRT, Chiro. etc. doctor videos - all of them serving to help people - but this is so Thorough explaining so much. I have a multitude of Spinal Maladies including spinal arthritis, arthritis in the facet Joints, mild to moderate Stenosis at several levels o fmy spine and Dextroscoliosis of 25 degrees. My Physiatry has been affected by a Leg Length Discrepancy of 1 " shorter right leg as a result of a fractured Femur in 1966 at age 15. Now I'm 72 and suffer with Chronic pains, Terrible stiffness, Degrading vertebrae discs which have affected my Central and Peripheral Nervous Systems. God Bless You.

      Can you share your diagrams?

    • @YosemiteLee
      @YosemiteLee 5 місяців тому +3

      @spritespring8035. I just started doing it and I would not want to release diagrams of Dr. Alekseev’s exercises without his approval. The reason for this is if my drawing is incorrect in ANY way I could possibly be held liable for someone’s injury. (There are a few of his exercises I can’t see what he’s doing with his fingers and I just have to guess.)
      I will give you a tip about diagrams and you don’t have to be an artist… the next time you watch him draw stick figures of what he’s doing with a description underneath and you will have your own diagrams.

    Einstein said it's insanity to keep doing the same thing expecting different results yet the doctors or "medical professionals" I have encountered in the US practice that idea exactly. Insane right? And yet I obeyed like a fool feeling myself inferior. I am better now and have gained back my questioning self. Thanks for your method. I will be giving it a go for nothing better than better breathing. 🙏✌️💯

    If you are a doctor you know that simply is not possible. The lungs function depends on it being like a sponge with many many tiny holes. Smoking damages those small holes which then unite making bigger holes, with an irreversible loss of surface area. If that happened to a sponge it would not be able to absorb the same amount of water, in the case of our lungs they are not able to allow efficient exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide between the blood and the air which results in decreased fitness then breathlessness and eventually breathlessness at rest and requiring supplemental oxygen.
    However I need to hope and believe after smoking a pack a day for 30 years so I will watch and like your video and give it a try.
