Anna, super work!
I would 100% consider adding a motor to both the wheels.
1. For a fast bowling make them rotate in the opposite direction. (clockwise/anticlockwise). This will make the ball go faster.
2. For Spin, make them rotate in same direction. You can change the nature of spin(leg/off) by choosing which wheel to rotate.
This can done with a small toggle switch and switching the current direction to the motor.
My suggestions.
-Get a thicker tyre so that it increases the surface area of the contact with the ball.
- make the wheels a bit slanting towards up, so that there is some flight and covers more distance

Also can Remove the tyre and try with rims, and keep the motor for both wheels. Ball may come even faster
I think the spin bowling procedure is wrong
If you spin both Tyre in same direction then it won't reach its enough speed

But you may get battery down after 2 or 3 overs . You cannot charge
You can think add springs to use it for leather ball and low battery usage

place 2 push pull solenoid to control ball movement, and pour even 100 balls in a container. Pull the solenoid pin and allow one ball in at a time. Spinning a ball with just 2 wheels is tricky. You may achieve a basic spin, but not a considerable spin to practice. Use this for, pace, with higher speed. It will work like darling.
