Thank you Hannah for your transparency with your own pelvic health journey. This interview was so honest and informative for folks that are experiencing pelvic disfunction. Dr Erica seems to be a very empathic and knowledgable health provider. Great job ladies, Lynn

I’m an osteopathic physician practicing in a hospital based setting but understanding the neuromuscular and myofascial systems and how they interact that result in pain and dysfunction is important to consider when recommending treatments and getting the right diagnosis in the first place. This is importent

Thank you so much for this open and informative discussion. I’ve had a difficult time finding a pelvic floor rehabilitation physical therapy specialist. I feel that some doctors don’t take it seriously in some cases and due to insurance challenges they are unable to successfully advocate for the patient to get timely and effective treatment.

....Trully recommend via a physical therapist or optp.com obtaining a stretchout strap accompanied by booklet of lower body stretches. While butt on wall, legs up wall replicate as possible as many stretches shown in booklet.

I am an elderly woman who was just recently diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction...,I have suffered chronic constipation for many years and it has now gotten to the point where I experience excrutiating rectal pain daily ..I had a colonoscopy a little over two months ago which I was told showed no abnormalities or signs of any cancer..The procedure was done because of my ongoing constipation problem..My rectal pain has been worse since it was done - I scheduled an appointment with a Proctologist who told me that I have pelvic floor dysfunction and he has referred me to a Dr. who specializes in women with pelvic floor dysfunction and who will work with me with the kind of physical therapy that will hopeful been extremely difficult living with the rectal pain that I've experienced daly for months ,- seriously affecting the quality of my life...Thank You for this video..

You say it's releasing muscle but I thought it's supposed to be that the muscle is stretched out

Holdup, wait, what? You have to be a tad bit more open. You kind of skipped over the internal parts and exactly what is done. This is information at the base level.
