Hey Ms Dani! I have a really great idea. Why dont you make a video about the best representative/contestant of Miss Universe from each country from A to Z since 2010. I think this would make a great mini-series.
I thought Czech Republic should’ve placed way higher. She had the best answers. Thailand surprised me, although English was not her first language, she still flowed through the words with ease and patience.
What I didn't like what they did on the top 10 to have Mauricio pass for popular vote, they should make it for the top 20. Our contestant Jearmanda Ramos (Miss Grand DR 🇩🇴) deserved to be on that top better than her, that wasn't fair at all.
The swimsuit we’re supposed to be sportswear because in Indonesia especially in jakarta, the culture is very conservative. They were able to wear swimsuits in Bali, but I heard Jakarta is way more conservative. Indonesians Please correct me if I’m wrong
I liked peru. Nigeria prelims sports wear was better than top 20 performance . Philippines should berm top 10 over Mauritius but they leave spot for fan vote. After finals the fan vote left or was removed and phillippines has now been crowned in the top 10
MGI only ahead on the productions and activities during the pageant time..but, MU still win in term if the Contestants..intelligence,Classy,Charismatic…i love MU always…
The conflict started when Miss Universe banned Miss Grand International from using USA on the sash, while in other pageant it’s not a problem. That's why only Miss Grand International using United States of America instead of USA on the sash. Besides that, there are some other conflicts that Miss Universe throws at Miss Grand, that's why there are seems to be tension between them.

Wrong. Miss World and Miss Supranational using Miss United States of America on the sash. The only major pageant that using USA on the sash beside MU is Miss International. Miss International can use USA on the sash because Miss International was founded in California USA.
I’m still disappointed Puerto Rico didn’t make top 5 😞 overall I feel like she deserved it. She was a front runner from the day she was crowned and was consistently on everyone’s top 5 list. Not to mention she would’ve nailed that final Q&A 🙌🏻 and on top of that Czech Republic only getting 4th runner up?????? 🤯 I really don’t understand their scoring systems sometimes 🤦🏻♀️
It's only Nawat who is the sole judge. He has admitted this himself in multiple interviews. The winners are already pre-selected before finals night. This is consistent with the fact that there is no time to tabulate scores and no third party accounting firm to do so. Hence, you can see awkward placement.
Puerto Rico is a bit slow compare last year and Nawat also have high expectations on her since she was crowns . In top 5 Czech is only country did not have separate show + there is 🚩with Czech ND drop grand position on there show too . Czech should be thankful that Nawat did not just only give her only top10 because he is really fair .
@@MoHOHeaT you can’t compare this years contestants to last years. They’re not competing against each other. Puerto Rico was overall one of the best contestants since she landed and she was picked to work with almost every sponsor

It's called Sportswear Session/Competition, it's the decision made by Ivan Gunawan as the ND of MG Indonesia to host the event in Indonesia and to honor its culture, it's been agreed by Mr. Nawat and Swimsuit Competition only happened once when it was in Bali, not in Prelim and Final in Jakarta, I hope this help and add more information.
I thought it was a nice change of pace while being respectful of the host country. And it also made it about the performances rather than what they looked like in their bikinis.

I really love the opening dance, I watch it over and over again. I am happy with the result and I like your recap! I only watch MGI, its advocacy is real (the ex queen went for humanitarian trips in over 12 countries as I saw on the show not including many local charities). I see they do a lot for those in need but its GRAND and unforgettable show along with the controversial marketing strategy make people likely to talk about those things and like you said "it works, everyone is talking about it".
Definitely you're not that into MGI as you don't even know that this year they competed in SPORT WEAR COMPETITION, not swimsuit. Where have you been? It's being mentioned again and again thousand times far before the competition began and following the pre lim and the final. It's been almost a month since the final and you still have no idea what it was... how funny! The great thing about what you're saying is only that MGI and MU cannot be compared
hi Dani this year MgI was held in Indonesia which is still consider as a kinda conservative country (Religiously and culturally) I think that's why instead of wearing two pieces swimsuit all of the contestant wear what they call "sport wear" which consist of long legging instead of swim trunk because it will be controversial and will affect the whole pageant activity. 😀🙏
you should get more information instead of lifting your eyebrow....it is sportswear as replacement of swimsuit in the final night. Swim suit competition was held in the swimming pool during 10 days quarantine in Bali..
I think it would have been better as they have done at Universe is allow the contestants to pick a number and have that judge ask them the questions or have the contestants ask a question and have the question given to each contestant by a fellow top 5 contestant.
I respect your choices and yr preferences but just a bit curious how you didn’t even mention about MG Cambodia’s TOP20 Sport Wear performance when it fr my POV was second to MG Dominican Republic in the first group.
Welcome back, I agree with how well done the production was, however, the camera angle in the interview portion was awful, not one of the top 10 looked good. I can't wait for your take on the Miss Derry, America winner.
Ohhhh the performance, beauty drama, personality, elegant but sassy beauty, intelligence, production, edge with class and no angry biotches in this pageant is sooooo refreshing. This year Grand made MUO look boring and obsolete with the same ole globalist social justice platforms😴. These Grand women look genuine with real elegance and purpose which gives them true power over the tiresome, haughty, angry attitudes of MUO/USA. That said, Grand United States obviously struggles with it all-sad they cannot be competitive-- likely because there is an agenda in the USA that ruins genuine women to have what it takes and the only ones successful, follow and copy a globalist agenda. I'll watch this pageant for pure entertainment and an uplifting ideal of true beauty --without anger and division by way of 'diversity' as MUO rides...
There will be MGP pageant and Philippines will win MGI when you have separate MG pageant. Nawat will go to Philippines to sign a contract with new ND soon

Binibining Pilipinas has dropped the license since their values doesn't align with MGI, and it was requested by majority of Filipino pageant fans to drop it for years now. Finally, they listened.

Questionable selections and selection committees. I was shocked that Panama and Costa Rica didn’t make the first cut despite a great performance in the prelims. More shocked with the Top 10 cut when in fact Dominican Republic, Nigeria, Honduras, Puerto Rico, Philippines, Spain, UK, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil or Vietnam and Thailand should be those 10. Well, what would we expect from the selection panel who are mostly Indonesians with biases.
Miss Universe is up there in the top pedestal of the beauty pageants followed by 3 other equally important pageants such as Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth...These 4 beauty pageants have class, attract more than 80 delegates, and have very good and concrete advocacies not just for the/during the show. These 4 pageants are the longest running in the world and no one can surpass them. Truly the Grand Slam and Big 4 of all the pageants. So comparing these 4 pageants to others is like as you said comparing apples to oranges. Other pageants can boast a very big / grand production show during the finals but it does not stop there...the organisation and its winning queen/s work for a year to make their advocacy work or support their charities. And by the way, no beauty organisation president or its winning queens would put down others by making controversies, body shaming, and incite cyber bullying. You would not see that in any queens or org presidents of MU, MW, MI, and ME.
In the words of Leila Lopez, this is a “true Circus”💀💀. I really watched the whole thing just to be disappointed the whole time. Like we all know that the dude chooses who he wants to qualify, it’s all up to him and not how you actually compete. But the ladies are all beautiful, just wished they chose a better organization. I’m happy for Brazil, they deserved a crown, it’s been a while. So good for them. But also, I’m happy mgi is getting the backlash that they are getting, they don’t deserve to be in the top 5 big pageants, and that’s why they aren’t. Even tho they always throw shade to miss universe. They did during this pageant if you didnt notice. Those panels was just a "display property". The real judge and the final decisions is still on Nawat.

But also, I’m happy mgi is getting the backlash that they are getting, they don’t deserve to be in the top 5 big pageants, and that’s why they aren’t.
