    That’s what the buffer tank is for Bro weak water supply. Immediately start filling up your tank as soon as you get there your tank is going to fill your machine up from the pressure in the tank not from the pressure in the hose. That’s what the buffer is for to feed you more than enough GPM that a hose can’t provide. Instead you’re gonna go run your buddies water bill up lol you should’ve just started filling up your buffer tank as soon as you got there go around do some spot treating by the time you’re ready to go you’re ready to go tanks halfway full, at least keep it running the whole time. Good luck, bud. Kind of dramatic responses to little problems.

    New subscriber here. Been in it for 4 years and still learning things everyday. Keep up the good work. And i realized that the water pressure in commercial buildings do tend to suck a little bit but i have to seal with it because i don't have a water tank yet.

    I soft washed my vinyl house yesterday. Amazing what you can do to some mildew! I have a little Honda 3700 2.5. I bought the little attschment where depending on which one you have on it'll be a heavy stream or light and then heavy or light with soap. It's so cool. I was pulling 1 oz of Dawn dish soup per gallon of sodium hyperchloride. Just amazing
    My neighbors fence after a few years is really looking bad and so I sprayed some of that on just a section of it to see what it would look like without using any pressure and it got cleaner but nothing crazy what would your recommendation be cleaning my side of the fence?maybe I need to go over it multiple times with the same technique what were you spraying on the side of the brick commercial building in that little red canister??

    • @WeberPowerWashing
      @WeberPowerWashing  4 місяці тому +1

      It’s satisfying, isn’t it! For the fence you probably need a higher percentage of the bleach, but you can also do multiple layers and longer dwell times. Up to you!

      @@WeberPowerWashing thanks so much I have a pool supply store close to me too so I may go see what they have as far as a higher percentage than the pool essentials 10%. Also the normal wand that comes with most pressure washers is what I have been using how much better do you like the mini gun? and in what instances are you using that?

    • @WeberPowerWashing
      @WeberPowerWashing  4 місяці тому +1

      @@lsizemo the long wand is absolutely fine, you'll have less recoil with the wand and actually get more reach! the only disadvantage is the weight of it. lot of the commercial guys run the gun (no wand) because its more ergonomical

    Great Job,You had a lot of great information and you have established a great relationship with your customers already.I hope you don t mine if I share a couple of things that will help on your next Commercial Job.I would first let the water run from the building into your tank and check your pressure washer to make sure it s ok to use the water from your tank.If you going to down stream I would use my soap tip to supply my chemical and you wouldn t need the pump sprayer or the ladder.You re doing bricks so let your Chemical soak on that side with no windows.I have several wands and tips I use that will reach 40 ft. from the ground.When you begain your rinse ,I start from the bottom of the building all the way on that side and work my way up to the top.Sometimes the top takes longer but be patient and go over it as much as you have to.The side with the windows,I have a tip 45 degree that use for that stucco above the windows.I also use Windex streak free solution on the windows after I finish my jobs.This can be applied with your chemical injector and soap tip.These are just my experiences that I have faced and works for me.I started out just like you and have missed and made mistakes along the way.So I think you re doing a great job of being transparent.I recently landed a Contract taking care of 21 Commercial properties and this keeps me busy all year round.The work is out there customers are looking for companies that they can trust and depend own.Keep up the good work,you ve got pleanty of work coming your way.Hope this helps.

    Look, I have been there as well, my first commercial job was a Shell gas station, enormous. Really big canopy + The store building and the truck disel station with 4 pump and canopy. And it was winter time here in North Carolina.
    I had at the time a setup like yours. And I charged 1500$ for all that. I did it over night, and it took my 8 hours to finish it. I was painful, I really suffered that one. I had chemical and freeze burs all over my face and hand. But I pull it through like champ.
    And you know what, after that the same company gave 16 more gas station $$$.
    But I learned something out of that run, and it was that you "must charge accordingly" that was not the price for those jobs...!!! And the other thing is, you need to be realistic with your equipment, that was not the setup for the job. I mean, I muzzled through but it was amazingly Challenging...!!!!
    So now, I upgraded big time my equipment and I have this thought in my head "cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap. 😉👍

    Not trying to be an asshole but with a 4 GPM machine, you don't need a buffer tank. 99% of the time, the water from the bib is fine. It's only an issue if they have well water and their pump is shit. If you wanted to run a buffer tank so you can run the unloader to it, you would do fine with a 15 gallon tank.

    • @WeberPowerWashing
      @WeberPowerWashing  5 місяців тому +1

    You were way too low for that size of a building for that price. 12 to 1500. Per side.
    Window cleaning would have been just a little extra not much upsell. You know you're going to mess him up so you might as well charge him to fix it. I'm talking about streaking on the windows.
    You should invest in a 12 V basic. $350 should I get you going.. I would have 12 v. The whole entire building in an hour or 2. Quick rents. Hit the windows. Outdoor couple hours.. I do appreciate your Patience thinking out of the box. And getting the job done no matter what it takes. That's the most important part of the whole experience

    Xjet is useless on a job like that, you need a 12v pump at least. You can't get a strong enough mix through an xjet.

    • @WeberPowerWashing
      @WeberPowerWashing  24 дні тому +1

      12volt would definitely be efficient, but id have to disagree, you can get alot done with an xjet!

      @rabbitskinner 24 дні тому

      @WeberPowerWashing your getting a lot done is a 10th of what I can get done with a dedicated softwash pump. Not hating bro, I started with an Xjet

    • @rabbitskinner
      @rabbitskinner 24 дні тому

      @WeberPowerWashing plus a down stream injector over an xjet is way easier to use.
