One of my favs from Stevie & Double Trouble....never ever tire of listening/seeing this legendary performance 😍 Gets me everytime...esp realising all the talent lost when poor Stevie was so trgically killed ☹ His pain, when he's playing just after his wonderful talk, is so obvious...yet he's able to channel it thru his guitar...beautiful soul...Thankyou for reacting...more live SRV plz 🙏❣🙏
An amazing special man, blessed with an incredible talent that is natural born. Not surprised with your reaction, it's very common. I'm delighted with your opinion and your smile. That happens all the time! People such as this don't come around very often, and sadly, don't stay very long. We love and miss you every day💙, Stevie Ray. Fly on, fly on. RIP, King SRV. ☮️to all.
He wrote this song in honor of his good friend and guitar guy Charlie who passed away from a heart attack and the white guitar he is playing is called Charlie. If you pay close attention you will notice there is something on the back of that guitar it is a hula girl.
At 1:44 he called for a guitar change to play his white guitar called Charlie who built that guitar for Stevie. He wrote this beautiful song for him when he died suddenly. That message he gives is even more prevalent today. We lost a wonderful man in his tragic helicopter crash. We still miss him 33 years later. RIP❤️🩹SRV🎸
That Texan blues guitarist was super fit and always dressed to kill. He always had a beautiful message when he sang his lovely song to Charlie who made him such a beautiful guitar from scraps. He said "Thank you Charlie" bc he lost a tooth. At the end he always kisses his guitar in honor of his dear friend. Such a beautiful soul lost too soon. RIP💔 SRV🎸
I was going to say the same thing. I think the guitar was named Charlie, after his friend, which I think you were saying. If SRV named a toilet paper tube after me i'd be happy.
