Hi Robin, thank you. Yes it’s a 360° camera (insta 360 X3) on a 3m selfie stick and the clever software does a good job of removing the stick. If you look closely you can sometimes see a bit of the stick but it’s pretty clever tech and gets drone like shots where I’d never be able to fly a drone 😊

I can only imagine the price of that marina. 🤑W e are using a figure of 8 descender as a preventer it's cheap and simple. and covers port and starboard with a single line. What selfie stick are you using? It's some very impressive footage.
Thanks guys it was a pretty cool sail 😃 The marina was run by the govt and was “only” €45/night. There are a few govt run ones that are sensibly priced. You can book online but sometimes they are full in the high season. The fig 8 descender is a good idea I’ll have a look into that. So the footage that looks like it’s filmed from off the boat is filmed on an Insta360 x3 camera with the insta 360 3metre selfie stick. The way the camera software works it removes most of the selfie stick although you can see a hint of it occasionally if you look very closely 😊⛵️
That Incat ferry wasn’t actually part of the Condor fleet, she was with Hoverspeed operating out of Dover/Ramsgate/Newhaven mostly. And now I’m just disappointed in myself for writing this comment 😢
It seems you are right! I speed read Google too quickly. Anyway Kate now says you’re an even bigger spotter than me so I’m not sure being right is a good thing 😉😂😂
