That practice pad is begging for dear life! LMAO I think you did pretty freaking awesome. Also, there are those calling you rude and cocky. I call bullshit. I see a humble, but confident young drummer pushing to achieve greatness, then more greatness. I say keep doing exactly what you're doing, and how you're doing it. Kickass job!

Props bro, I got mad respect for you man. It takes a long time to build up chops like you got, you should keep doing that excercise and post another video in a month or 2 at the same tempos, I'm curious to see how much it helps out in the future. Love you videos man! Keep it up! You're inspiring so many of us super drummers to always keep improving!

First off that’s not the case. Secondly, speed doesn’t mean you are good at playing it. You have to be able to play it slow before you can play it fast, in which obviously wasn’t that case

    • @EthanArco

Love the video btw, my teacher tests our paradiddle speed regularly by giving us 1 minute exactly and he makes a tally ever 10 paradiddles and then counts however many extra there are within the last few seconds. I personally like the method because although I could play 205bpm for 7-10 seconds, you have to sustain it for a minute so it dwindles 210-205-200-190-180... should try it out, more difficult, also neglects PERFECT technique as the number’d be even lower it’s just for speed. Great video again!

Not gonna criticise you man, it was pretty impressive to watch you keep pushing it. Pretty impressed that you can keep the paradiddle pattern going that quickly, as I can only go to 200 myself. I tend to get mixed up and end up doing 4 on my right, but then you keep it good. Awesome job my dude.
Btw, I love the stick click at the end of each run. So satisfying :)

    • @sdjmalik

Thanks man I appreciate it. I used to run into the same issues as well getting confused with the pattern itself lol but usually a lot repetition and use to the rudiment does the trick. This year for marching band in school I am a freshman we have a movement that is 180 bpm and it’s like a percussion special. It’s the song wipeout by the surfaries we are playing it way faster than it should be but just to show off. Anyways I play tenor and my max for paradiddles is 187. It’s across drums and I am so pumped.
