For pc exclusively this controller is much better. First if you don’t have a PlayStation you can’t really map the buttons around on the dualsense edge. Some launchers don’t even recognize the edge as a controller so it doesn’t work. The only ones I got it to work with were steam and battle.net but this could’ve changed over the months but I no longer have the controller to test unfortunately. The envision pro comes with a standalone program to map buttons and works with all launchers. Some people have had issues with the program but I can honestly say I haven’t had any so not sure on that. Great controller overall
When I got this controller the concave ones were the only option as there wasn’t a customizable option at that time. I’m sure scuf sells the other ones possibly though
I bought one the very first day, and love the controller - but hate Icue. I’ve went back to my reflex. If you could keep the bindings without the software running I wouldn’t have an issue
the hardware remaping i heard that doesnt need to have the software open, in fact that kind of remapping is exact the same as the reflef with the profile button and pressing the apddle and the button you want to coupy, same sas the reflex, try it out ansd see if it works without opening the icue software.
@@joseanup7628unfortunatly I think the remapping is based on software for this not hardware that’s installed. It won’t work for me otherwise I lose all my binds and it returns to default.
I think icue software has conflicts with other peripherals it would make other things bug out as well as disconnect from its Dongle, it's a shame cause it felt great. I went with dualsense edge ps5 and works perfect for pc aswell
You don’t have some kind of issues with the software? I’m hearing a lot of yapping from the community and as someone looking to buy a new controller I’m getting kinda scared
I’ve had minor issues but none that have broken the usability of the controller. I mainly use the software if I’m remapping the buttons so don’t use it often so this could be why
No you can have it closed out. Sometimes I’ll notice my back buttons will revert back to the unmapped ones but when that happens I just open the program and close it out again.

@@DBZ-OG4Don't like the edge eh? damn that's disappointing, I was liking the idea of gyro's and removable paddles even though I re-solder and replace the potentiometers on my elite 2 and keep it going that way, but they use high temp solder so you gotta have good soldering/de-soldering setup or it's tough. How can you create a long term review of this controller and not talk in depth about the absolute dumpster fire the software is. Riddled with bugs, unreliable resets mid game, it’s awful. You must REALLY want some free scuf review units.
@praxsee I got it at best buy. Returned it and got another that I've had for about 4 days and I'm thinking about returning it.
