Thank you so much for being so detailed. I bought a PE770 almost 2 years ago and never used it because many of the tutorials on UA-cam were not detailed enough for beginners.
@Maria Jackson I also have a PE770, take a look at Kandia Haynesworth on YT. She also has a good tutorial on the PE770, she was selling hers at the time and did a thorough video on the machine and even had a couple videos to get you started on what can be made on the PE770....check it out. I was just looking at them again today.
Because of you and Angela I have started making baby items on Etsy and mercari. I’m just getting started. I cross stitch and have been adding the designs to onesies for now. No videos yet. I have a new regular sewing machine and would love a machine like yours, at least for starters. It’s awesome to watch you grow and tackle everything. ❤️❤️
A walking foot can help prevent the slipping of the Minky when you sew. They are super reasonable on Amazon. Alternation option is to use a server it’s a super easy way to make Minky blankets I learned that tip from a lady who makes all Minky blankets for a luxury boutique. 👍🏻 I hope you reach your UA-cam goal. Best of luck!!! 💛✌🏻
@@julielowrey203 Yes, I do when attaching the front to the back when the right sides are together. When it's all minky it's excellent. The minky stays in place and doesn't slip around.
Another fan and a follower here from Japan 🇯🇵…I’m enjoying watching your videos especially the embroidery minky baby blanket.., it’s so detailed and I learned a lot. Thank you very much ❤
Neita, I’m going to be embroidering on Minky fabric for the first time. I did do a demo before actually embroidering the design on a blanket…it didn’t turn out so well. Had used only 1 layer of Solvy stabilizer and forgot to pinch the fabric to see if it was loose. One of the elements of the design bubbled up…not to mention there were a couple of problems with the bobbin and thread breaks. On my next try, I’m putting 2 layers of Solvy and stretching it. Do you think that using 2 layers will help eliminate puckers? I’ve missed seeing your videos 😂, hope all is well. ❤
Neita, you are a very good teacher . Thank you my for your clear and systematic instructions. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge and tips . I have some minky that I’ve never used you’ve given me the inspiration to try using it !

Hi, I just found your videos and enjoy them and learning. Im just beginner machine embroiderer. I really like the appliqué and have been wanting to get started appliquéing. Would you mind sharing where you purchase your appliqués. I sew for a hobby. I used to do regular sewing many years ago for all my nephews and two children and now I'm back into all of it full force at 76yrs old. I just made about a dozen self bond baby blankets for my new Great grandson. I would just like to say..If you use a Walking foot it will greatly make a difference how your fabrics 'minkey' and flannel sew together without having to do so much pinning. It creates a wonderful even feeding action of both fabrics and many others when sewing them together.
Thanks for watching my videos! I finally got a new walking foot ( my last one broke while quilting) and it definitely helps a lot when sewing with minky. I also get most of my designs from Etsy and/or my husband digitizes a design for me.
I just discoverd you, so Im a bit late to react on this video. I hope you still read this :) Thank you do much for this awsome video! I just wonder. The embroidery print and the print on the cotton. Of you want that it had the same direction when you Flip it , how do you have to keep it when you sew it together?
Thanks for the tutorial. Now I see where I went wrong when I made my blanket. I so hope you reach your subscriber goal. Remember nothing is impossible 💕
Beautiful blanket. You made it look so simple! I’m just about to jump in to the embroidery space. This vid has given me a boost of confidence! Thank you. New subbie!..:
