पी ले प्याला हो मतवाला, प्याला प्रेम हरि रस का रे।
1. बालपना सब खेल गंवाया, तरूण नारीबस का रे,
न सत्संग न कथा कीर्तन, न प्रभु चरण प्रेम बसाया रे।
2. न सत्संग न कथा कीर्तन, न प्रभु चरणन प्रेम रचा रे।
अबहुं सोच समझ अज्ञानी, जग में नहीं कोई अपना रे।
3. देह मोह में क्यों भरमाया, गल विच फंद यम का रे,
चौरासी से उबरा चाहे, छोड़ कामिनी का चसका रे|
4. नाभि कमल विच है कस्तूरी, मृग फिरे बन का रे,
कहे कबीर सुनो भई साधो, कबहूं न सतपथ खोजा रे।
Meaning in Hindi:
प्रेम और हरि-रस से भरा प्याला पी ले, और मतवाला बन जा।
बचपन के सारे समय को खेल में गंवा दिया, और जवानी को स्त्रियों के वश में कर दिया।
न सत्संग किया, न कथा-कीर्तन सुना, और न ही प्रभु के चरणों में प्रेम बसाया।
न सत्संग किया, न कथा-कीर्तन सुना, और न ही प्रभु के चरणों में प्रेम रचा।
अब भी सोच-समझ ले, हे अज्ञानी, इस संसार में कोई तेरा अपना नहीं है।
देह (शरीर) के मोह में क्यों भटक रहा है? तेरी गर्दन में यम का फंदा पड़ा हुआ है।
यदि चौरासी लाख योनियों से बचना चाहता है, तो कामिनी (वासनाओं) का मोह छोड़ दे।
नाभि-कमल के भीतर ही कस्तूरी (ईश्वर) है, लेकिन हिरण जंगल में भटकता रहता है।
कबीर कहते हैं, सुनो साधु, तुमने कभी भी सच्चे मार्ग की खोज नहीं की।

Drink the cup filled with love and the nectar of Hari, and become intoxicated.
Childhood was wasted in play, and youth was lost in the allure of women.
Neither did you attend satsang, nor listen to stories or hymns, nor did you instill love for the Lord's feet.

Even now, think and understand, O ignorant one, no one in this world is truly yours.
Why are you deluded by attachment to the body? The noose of death is already around your neck.
If you wish to escape the cycle of 8.4 million births, abandon the craving for sensual pleasures.
The musk (God) is within the lotus of the navel, yet the deer wanders in the forest searching for it.
Kabir says, listen, O seeker, you have never sought the true path.
