Recognition from an OG to another OG. Still water, runs deep. Clapton gets it.👍

Prince's most popular guitar solo is from the RRHOF performance of While My Guitar Gently Weeps, which Clapton played on the original Beatles recording. People keep saying Prince never got his props for guitar playing. The fact that Clapton covers this song and acknowledges Prince's guitar playing is validation enough.

What a beautiful job paying respect to such a talented musician! Sorry you guys can't hear it clearly! It was AMAZING the way it sounded!! I hope he records it so you guys can hear it clearly!! Go see Eric the first chance you get! He is getting older now and the chance to have the honor to see him is diminishing....SADLY!!!! I have struggled my entire life to do on the guitar what is so easy to him! Respect just how great he really is! Guitar players like him come around...……..once in a lifetime!! A guy from the same vein as Robert Johnson, God rest his soul!

    Saluti!✌🏻

Always conflicted when I hear EC pay tribute to Prince. Love ECs music and I believe it is genuine love for Prince and EC is possibly a different person now but whilst we forgive, can't forget the hurt he caused an adoring crowd of people of colour in 1976 in Birmingham. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Against_Racism
However, this brought about the birth of RAR and amazing groups like The Beat and Steel Pulse who still continue today in other forms. That is part of ECs journey and hope he continues to advocate for music which is healing and is Love. As for Prince, there will never ever be another like him 💜

Hummm.

Hi okay I read his daughters vlog. It was minimum vocals and his sound was plucky to say the least I mean, a nice show ender but not slayed as she refers to her father. I take nothing from him for this performance here or skills thoooo
