raw format කියන්නේ Compress කරලා නැති , වැඩිදුර process කරලත් නැති image format එකක්. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් අපි phone එකකින් හරි camera එකකින් හරි ෆොටෝ එකක් ගද්දී photo එක compress කරලා පාට වෙනස් කරලා පොඩ්ඩක් හැඩ වෙලා JPEG වගේ format එකකින් තමා එන්නේ. එහෙම compress කරාම phone/ camera memory එකේ අඩු ඉඩක් යන නිසා ෆොටෝස් ගොඩක් ගන්න පුලුවන් . නමුත් එහෙම compress කරන් නැතුව අමුවටම ගන්න ෆොටෝස් තමා raw කියන්නේ. ඒවගේ file size එක wadi. ඒ නිසා ෆොටෝ කිහිපයක් ගත්දී සමහර විට memory full වෙනවා . නමුත් raw mode එකෙන් ගන්න ෆොටෝස් compress කරලා nathi නිසා අපිට ඕනි විදිහට edit කර ගන්න පුලුවන්. Colors එහෙම ලස්සනට එනවා. නමුත් සාමාන්‍ය jpeg photo edit කරද්දී අර තරම් ලස්සනට එන්නේ නැහැ . Video වලත් එහෙමම තමයි mp4 process උන විඩියෝ එකකට වඩා raw format එකේ ඒවා colors details ලස්සනට එන්න එඩිට් කරන්න පුලුවන් .ඒ නිසයි එඩිට් කරන්න හිතන් ගන්න ෆොටෝස් විඩියෝස් පුලුවන් නම් raw ගන්න කීවේ.නමුත් හැම mobile phone එකකම මම දන්න තරමින් raw video ගන්න behe. සමහර mobile phone වල විතරයි raw format එකෙන් video කරන්න පුලුවන්.
