In the automotive industry, high-strength steel is used extensively to improve the strength and safety of vehicles while reducing weight. The different color grades of high-strength steel used in cars generally refer to their strength level, as follows:
Yellow: This color code is typically used to indicate mild steel, which has a relatively low tensile strength and is used for non-critical parts such as brackets and supports.
Green: This color code typically indicates high-strength low-alloy (HSLA) steel, which has a higher tensile strength than mild steel but is still relatively easy to form and weld. HSLA steel is commonly used for body panels and structural components.
Orange: This color code typically indicates advanced high-strength steel (AHSS), which has a very high tensile strength and is used for critical structural components such as roof pillars and door beams. AHSS includes various types of steel, such as dual-phase steel, transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) steel, and martensitic steel.
Red: This color code typically indicates ultra-high-strength steel (UHSS), which has extremely high tensile strength and is used for parts that require the highest level of strength and durability, such as suspension components and seat frames. UHSS includes materials such as boron steel and press-hardened steel.
It's worth noting that the color codes used for steel grades may vary depending on the manufacturer and region, so it's important to consult the relevant specifications for a specific application.

hallo sunderdeepji, I really appriciate your honesty, but don't be so polite to CEO Mr Ashish guptaji when u meet him on some occasions. tell him the facts about the plastic quality , even previous polo, vento plastic quality was much much better than taigun, virtus. why not the company kept the same quality or old venders of supplying the plastic quality materials .how irritating is the plastic noise in the new cars what will happen after aged .sorry to say but you should be so firm on plastic quality it is so flimsy its not up to the mark of vw level. thanking you for your great efforts & further content reviews

Awesome stuff! VOLKSWAGEN & Ford fan here. It’s nice PEOPLE HAD DOUBTS ABOUT SAFETY FACTOR OF MQB AO-In platform being localised in India by Volkswagen. But still they have maintained quality and safety. Only things they need to improve is interior quality and introduce full Black theme to interior Atleast as a option. And they should bring sub 4 meter hatchback and SUV which will help increase their volumes💯⚡️ they already have a flexible Platform MQB AO-In

Paji I really need your valuable inputs in choosing between Kushal and xuv300… i am looking for automatic, test drove both cars, following are my observations,
    1. Both cars are well built with 5 star rating safety.
    2. performance kushaq AT felt better, but xuv300 engine is also responsive, this may be due to the better tuned transmission on kushaq. Also xuv300 is heavier by 100kg.
    3. Ride quality-XUV300 has better suspension tuning, I felt. Kushaq’s is on firmer side. I am coming from a soft suspension set up car.
    4. NVH- both are good
    5. Steering feel- felt similar on both, kushaq slightly better at high speed.
    6. Reliably and after sales service- xuv300 has been around for a while and has seen vehicles clocked over 80kms.
Kindly throw some light on kushaq long term reliability. I am planning to keep the car for 8-10 years. Can u pls clarify the following doubts
    1. Reliability of TSI engine
Heard that it produces lots of heat.
    2. Fuel pump and injector
Can they failure prematurely due to adulterated fuel.
    3. Carbon accumulation due to direct injection.
    4. Premature suspension issues any idea.

Also only body shell strength does not make it safer, driving dynamics and control also comes under safety. In emergency situations vw cars handle like a pro that's why who can't see many accidents of them . Whereas you can see tata Mahindra accidents very much due to being unable to control in emergency situations.

Enough of marketing. The very reason IN platform was brought was because of cost cutting and it definitely is not as good as before. People are complaining about quality of interiors as well.

Skoda has done wonderful work with this new plateform in delivering excellent safety to the passengers. But when it comes to after sale service, person has to made multiple no of visits just to rectify ac cooling issue. Service people also seems clueless sometimes. To be successful in mass market, they have to improve service a lot.. otherwise 2k 3k sale figures wud be a stagnant story even in coming future.

Service still sucks . Replacing Kushaq oil sump took 10 days .There is nothing to guard engine or oil sumps etc . Practical/daily use cases areas/scenarios needs to be improved .
