My dad and my uncle did figure 8's and demo's when I was a kid. They won quite a few of them in the late 70's/early 80's. My grampa ran an auto salvage, so cars were in endless supply. I love a good old school figure 8 race at the county fair:-)!!!

I think the car that got black flagged was the same one that nailed 227 in the intersection and caused him to lose his tire
brakes on figure 8? we used to tarp strap our brake peddle to the steering column.
