I don't know if its my particular light fittings but I find replacing those an absolute sod to get those pins in just the right place for getting the new bulbs back in.
Hi Bro, what is the specification of this chimney light? is it AC or DC? also how many volts? whether we can replace with a LED bulb instead of halogen?
Thanks. I know how now :-) But why did you cover the most interesting parts of the video with text? There would be other less disturbing areas of the screen to display the texts on
My cooker hood took G4 bulbs but this way of taking the cover off (although correct) did not work. I had to remove the glass top and push the cover out from the back. WITH THE POWER OFF!
It would be better if these hoods had simple screw in bulbs which were cheap and lasted forever. My new Broan BKSA130SS has a blown bulb less then a week after installation.
I have 6 of these G4 bulbs in a cabinet. For some reason they stop working. If I move them back and forth they will start to work again. But then another one will go out after or a day or 2. Or even the same one will go out. Does anyone know why they lose their connection? Very frustrating.
Maybe because it said to ‘Turn Off and ... allow to cool’ lamps that need replacing. I suspect the vast majority of people replace bulbs when they don’t work! G4 low voltage bulbs are hardly a shock hazard but I would recommend getting into the habit of ensuring the sockets aren’t live when changing any bulb.
