Lucky to have been watching your videos for I don’t know how many years, the teaching and beauty of the work and music seems more stunning than ever. Thank You!
Thank you Joe. The Neck Surgery Kit has been shipped worldwide for the last 15 years .. to UK / Ireland / Denmark / Australia / France / + 50 cities across the US + Canada. It works like a dream !
Iam always amazed watching a real craftsman perform His or Her art flawlessly👏👏👏👏 I just cannot understand for the life of me why Gibson does not put a valute on the back of their head stocks??? Les Paul’s must win the award for the most often broken necks in all of guitar history.. Thank you Mike 🎸🎸🎼🎹👏👏👨🏻🦯
Hi Sir. Excellent work on both Les Paul's; you use a lot of great tools to help you on the jobs. A question: what is the brand or where you buy of the bridge you are using for the left handed LP? All the best
I bought a few of these from a student of mine about 6 years ago. If you do an image search you should be able to find them. No brand name .... sorry. MMcC
@@StringTechWorkstations I found a couple options on Amazon - "JD.Moon" and "Greenten". Does the bridge fit on the existing bridge posts? The products on Amazon include new bridge posts but that seems unnecessary if the bridge can just slide on to the existing ones.
I kinda' liked that setup myself. Perhaps some of the other subscribers could chime in with some alternative suggestions re: reconfiguration of wiring / switching / electronics.
@@StringTechWorkstations Thank you, although it shows unavailable. I found it somewhere else, it shows a radius of 14! does that mean you can't use it with a guitar of a less or higher radius? Thanks again for all that you do.
You can shim the middle two saddles and the "B" and "A" string saddles ( slightly less ) for a tighter radius 7 1/2" / 9" / 12" etc. If you need a shallower radius than 14" .... you're out of luck.
Hey Russ. Someone else posted an E-bay link in the comments. I didn't see any branding on these. I bought a few of these off of one of my students several years ago.
Any specific reason that you spline breaks like that where there is lots of glueing surface? I have fixed many with similar breaks and never use splines. They always hold up without problems. To me, it just seems to be unnesecarry extra work/cost, when a good glue joint is sufficient.
I am sure there are many others who will agree with you. Thank you for asking. Jay ( the customer of the Heritage LP ) has owned many guitars over the years. Both Jay and I have seen many Les Pauls break 2 or more times. They will never break on the glue joint. They will break right beside the glue joint. The problem is grain orientation, not the strength or weakness of the adhesive. MMcC
Super excellent repair work....not totally enamored with that funky off-spec replacement bridge for the black Les Paul. It does NOT go with that guitar whatsoever. Looks like a mutant from Chernobyl reactor meltdown......Ugh!
Lol ! Easy enough to change back if the customer chooses. Unfortunately there wasn't enough "saddle travel" with the original bridge to intonate the guitar. Not the first time that I've seen this .... that last ES 345 ..... same problem.
Worth watching for a number of reasons, great repair and nice relaxing playing. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Excellent and detailed work surgeon general. I love your playing.
Thank you kindly! MMcC
Fantastic work, amazing end result i absolutely love the tune you played, you performed it really well, thanks for sharing. Andy. Scotland.
Thanks a lot! MMcC
@@StringTechWorkstationsHi is the song you played your own composition, can i buy it on your site to listen to. Cheers. Andy.
Hey Andy, any of the playing you hear is done "on the fly" to demonstrate and verify the intonation.... or to just check out the guitar.... Lol !
@@StringTechWorkstations thanks for getting back to me, you can join my band anytime, great style and melody. Cheers. Andy. Scotland.
I'll be right over ..... \m/ ! MMcC
Amazing! Lovely playing!

Because volutes don't stop this from happening.

No need to change posts Chris. They just slip right onto the original posts \m/ ! Thanks for finding those ! Cheers MM cC
I have the exact same les Paul classic in black , I would love to get rid of those push pull pots can you please give me any ideas .

Alas, we Americans are seriously lacking in extraneous hockey pucks.
Really ?! Tampa is about to enter the Stanely Cup finals against Montreal on Monday. I buy a bucket of 20 pucks for $16.00 ( $13.25 USD ) .
How do I go about sending you my guitar for a comp nut setup?
Are you shipping or commuting ?
@@StringTechWorkstations shipping. Maybe we could email or text about info and possibly a few other details of the setup?

Putting the splines in the black les Paul seem a little bit unnecessary .
The extra reassurance of stability with the splines and the undetectability under the black finish ... made that decision a no-brainer.
