Son of a biscuit! Can't believe the frame was cracked! Yes washi is great for filling in those small gaps in framing. Note you should glue or use double sided tape (my preference) between the canvas and the cardboard so your canvas won't sag. Love it! Looks awesome! I 🥰
Thank you! I know…can you believe it was damaged 😭 luckily you can’t tell with it up on the wall. I’m hoping the canvas will be ok since I taped the edges in the back. But, if it becomes an issue, I’ll double side tape it🤗🤗
None of my paintings are framed. It isn't just the expense; I live in apartments where we are not allowed to put anything on the walls. So, I roll them with the diamonds on the outside, put them in a bag, then put the bag in the box. Congratulations on taking that big step towards display!
It looks beautiful. Thank you for sharing your "how to" process because like you, I'm scared to cut any of my canvases and have wondered if they would fit in a frame without cutting.
Thank you! I know right! I see people cut right up to the drills! I’m like…ummmmm that looks a little risky lol. I plan to try and buy frames a little larger like an inch or so to prevent from having to do that 🤗
How beautiful...I have only framed three of my diamond paintings. I just put art colored masking tape or washi tape .. then tacked them on a walk in my basement.
It really turned out beautiful. I was thinking that you should lay down a towel or blanket to slide it around because I was afraid your new desk would be scratched, but it was fine. The way packages are beat up when they are shipped, I’m not surprised it cracked but you can’t tell at all. It looks so nice on the wall.
Watching the video hack my skin crawled as I scraped the frame around lol. Smh. Eager beaver over here. Next time I will definitely lay something down hehe. I purposefully put the crack on the bottom on the side of the wall no one can see 🤣 Thank you! ❤️
I was shouting outside the screen that you put it in upside down 😅 but at the end you are using command hook than it doesn’t matter 🎉🎉🎉 It looks wonderful on the wall!
😂😂 I actually did it that way because of the crack 😞 I wanted the crack on the bottom left corner against the corner of the wall so no one will see it. 🥰 Bob said the same thing to me when he helped me level it before I showed him why 😆 thank you! I love it!!!!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
This looks great Kim and thanks for sharing the "how to"with us. Sorry about the problems with the frame but I doubt you will even notice once it's hung.....very annoying though. Have a great day!
Wow that looks awesome. What size was the painting?? What size was the frame?? Does the plexi glass better than glass because?? Less glare? Diamond sparkles better. Sorry If I missed these. But Loved this video. I hope you do more! Thanks 🙏❤
Hi Siobhan! You didn’t miss it…I wasn’t sure people would care, but a lot has asked me 😂. Next time I’ll be sure to give all the stats. Ok the painting is 80x45 cm or 31.5 x 18 inches. The frame is 19x32 inches. I was told plexiglass is less reflective than glass, but I wasn’t aware it was plexiglass until I opened it. Someone made a good point. That the glass makes the frame much heavier. And Diamond paintings are already very heavy, so it’s risky using real glass. That makes a lot of sense too. Thank you! Thanks for watching. I plan to frame more 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I can't wait for more showings of doing frames. I think there is not many videos on a continuous basis to frame pictures. But it something to think about. You will have to look at your stats to see how that measures up to your other videos.. You just blow my mind at how many and how difficult your paintings are and its been a years time. They all are so gorgeous. How much was the frame?? Keep going GF you are doing awesome!!!🙏❤
@@kimbaskrafts I completely understand that! Maybe you could try some wood glue and clamp it while it dries but then also try some heavy duty staples too and have each prong on either side of the crack to hold it 🤷🏻♀️ not sure if it would work but worth a try if you have a handheld staple gun or heavy duty craft stapler
Hello! No this one I did not seal. I haven’t sealed any paintings yet. I plan to…my son’s. I don’t think I’ll seal any that will be behind glass or a cover. But we’ll see. ☺️
It came out really nice with the frame you chose 🥰. I’m native from kahnawake Mohawk territory and it’s nice to see people acknowledge our culture ❤
Thank you! Wow that’s something to be proud of 💞💞 it’s a beautiful culture! it makes me happy to see the Diamond paintings available 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing the process! Looks beautiful can’t wait to see the craft room❤
You’re welcome! I promise it’ll be this week or next weekend some time! I just ordered the right curtains. And then we’re good! 💕💕💕

It really turned out to be such a beautiful 😍 piece of artwork. Love it!
Thank you! I have a hard time saying it’s my favorite because I feel bad for the other canvases I did lol. 🤭
It looks so nice! Good job Kim! I'm sure it feels great to have it framed.
Yes! My first framed…love it. Can’t wait to frame more now lol. Thank you! 😘

I've used the command "hangers" that she used and they don't mark the walls. Maybe you could do that and have a few paintings out to enjoy?
Awww. I don’t like that rule?! Like Judi said, can you do it without marking the wall or putting holes in them? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanks! I think I will solve this by doing a canvas for a friend, framing it, then giving it to her and I can come see it on her wall.

Hi Kim, this looks absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you so much! 😘😘😘
How beautiful...I have only framed three of my diamond paintings. I just put art colored masking tape or washi tape .. then tacked them on a walk in my basement.
I am going to try that…I’d like to hang a curtain rod in my foyer so I can switch out Diamond paintings with the seasons 🥰🥰🥰
Looks amazing in the frame! Well done!
Thank you! ☺️☺️
looks great on the wall
Thank you Tracy! ☺️☺️☺️
Looks good on your wall!
Thanks! I’m loving it! ❤️
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing
Thank you! 💖💖
Looks great on the wall. It really is a beautiful canvas.
Thank you Linda!♥️

Love this,
Thank you! ♥️♥️😘😘
I like the plexi glass frames because they are lighter Han glass. Some diamond paintings are awfully heavy with glass frames.
That’s true! Never thought about that…I’m really happy with the plexi. It looks great! 😆

Thank you Carol! You’re so welcome! You can’t see it 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’m really ok with it now 🥲 hehe 😘😘
Just beautiful! Great job on the framing. ❤❤❤ Did you seal your painting prior to framing?
Thank you Peggy! I didn’t seal it. I haven’t sealed a Diamond painting yet. That also scares me 😅😅😅

That frame is beautiful especially for that painting. I’m bummed about it cracking for you though.
Thank you! I know 😭😭 Bob was like you should have taken it back! I wanted a painting on the wall 🥲 it is hidden and eventually I’ll glue it. 🥰

@@T1Diamondbetic I’m going to try the wood glue 🤗
Glass tends to be highly reflective, unless you buy it coated, anyway, so you are better off without it.
That’s good to know. Honestly, I can’t tell the difference!♥️
Did you put any kind of sealant on the painting before you framed it?
Hello! No this one I did not seal. I haven’t sealed any paintings yet. I plan to…my son’s. I don’t think I’ll seal any that will be behind glass or a cover. But we’ll see. ☺️
I wait until I see half off frames or 60% off sometimes from hobby lobby. I have always had to cut the edges off mine.
That’s a good idea! I think I paid $40 some dollars for this one. Probably could have found it cheaper somewhere. I’m afraid to do that 😱
What size frame it
19 inches x 32 inches and the Diamond painting is 80 cm c 45 cm which is 31.5 inches x 17.7 inches
