Great video! Would the same tactics be viable even with the reworked artillery strike? You mentioned not to use a few locations because of the strike, so I was just wondering if they were useable now that it has been changed. Thanks! :)
Thank you for the compliment! The tactics are still viable- I leave it to your discretion for any slight adjustments. Current artillery is more for clearing out an area than taking out dangerous positions, so it’s not TOO game-changing for strats- particularly at tier 6.
T-34-85M, Live Oaks, southern side, wouldn't that be a choke point for him to be sent on the inner side of the bridge if the enemy team is sitting near the enemy base? Then he will get spotted and ripped apart in seconds
I believe you’re asking about the 85M being sent up as a light tank to light a camp? Usually if the enemy team is camping north side, they’ll be playing in the very back corner with one tank maximum in the house by the ridge that the 85m is being sent to. Usually the 85M scout gets away with 2 shots taking at the worst on their way up, and then can’t be countered as they sits below the ridge line. If I’m misunderstanding your question, let me know which map sector you’re talking about!
@@Indoorwinner I had to re-watch the section to get proper aspects and circumstance-ish background on it. It is in the relation to push the bridge from Southern base, and advance up along the bridge flank.... I know that randoms and Clan wars/skirmish battles are two different ways of playing the game, but advancing up along the bridge, and send one T-34-85M on the inner side, with tds in the bushes nearby, not far from the base, will get that T-34-85M spotted and destroyed in seconds.... wouldn't it? So doing that is a rather risky move, unless you are absolutely positive, that there aren't anyone in the bushes waiting for that tank to come
@@mariannejensen349 alright, so you’re talking about the bushes along the ridge that the 85M approaches on the inner side. To answer your question, it’s very unlikely that a team will place tds there. Usually it’ll be along the 0 line or by the house on the ridge, as getting spotted in the open is far more punishing in skirms than in randoms. The 85M sent on the inside, so long as you’re giving sufficient support fire, shouldn’t die. And, even if it does because the enemy for some reason placed tanks along the ridge, your tanks in the back should be able to do more damage than the “cost” of that 85M. For example, by killing 2 tanks that pushed into your one scouting tank.
I explained how you counter the banana push in that section of the video. The road is too tight for 7 tanks to fit down, and you can easily farm them as they approach.

And the whole idea about artillery has changed massively, its not minor. For the better, definitely. No one calls Tier 6 battles except useless try-hards that play it competitively because they can't play anything else because they stink; for example like BRU2L, EOA, BNE A clan like Goat, Happy hour or Youjo steps into the Tier 6 circuit for 1-2 hours before Tier 8s are populated or adv, and play at 1400-1500 elo rate, and trust me they dont call With the buffs to A43, M6 heavy -> tier 6 has changed. Not sure what you are talking about. T3485M is still very useful, but you not even posting cromwell is.....

It depends entirely on you. If you’re just starting, go for the 430U. It’s easy to play and you can train your crew in the easily accessed T-34-85M. Otherwise, play your play style. I personally love the BC 25 t, but it’s a complicated little tank.

A strong setup nowadays would be:
3 M6 heavy or 2 M6 heavy
2 T3485M or 3 T3485M
1 Crom or Brom or 1 A43
1 Type 64 or 2 Crom/Brom/A43
