1) How come the first commandment says God is One. In your POV it is not God is One, it is 3 in One God. Both the persons and Oneness of God is just as crucial to one another. That is why Christians don’t claim mormons and JW to be Christians. Maybe God accidentally messed up the first commandment. 2) When did the accounts actually start being written down and by who?? When was it fully compiled? 3) Why is Paul, a self proclaimed deceiver who never met Jesus, and even you Christians don’t even believe as a prophet but he wrote half the bible. Why is that?? 4) how come Mark 12:29 has ‘the Lord is One’ but Matthew 22:37 left is out? 5) contradictions like John 20:1 compared to Matthew 28:2, and many more 6) how come Jesus called the Father the only True God. Therefore meaning all else are false Gods. A definitive statement without room for interpretation u cannot get around. 7) how come Jesus never called himself God or said worship me. 1) I’m sure you’ve heard of the "could God create a rock He couldn’t lift" example. But let me expand on that a bit for further understanding. Could God create a rock He can’t lift, break, etc., but He could still wield it out of existence, or create that rock to last only a few minutes, or make it unmovable, breakable, etc., only for a few minutes? If this happens, it would negate God being all-powerful because there was a time when God, in fact, couldn’t lift that rock, even if it were for a short time, or even if He could remove it from existence at will. This is the same example with God becoming a man. Even if you reply back saying God had the power to undo being a man or whatever else you say, you believe there was still a time when God needed food, was weak, and susceptible, and this contradicts God's nature and attributes. It would make what you know of God a lie because, in your belief, He is not all-powerful, not self-sustaining, and not all-knowing (remember, "all" here is eternal and never changes). 2) Is giving each person the burden of original sin not an unjust act? I don’t want to hear about rectifying it with the crucifixion; I just want to talk about the initial act of having original sin. Do you personally think it is unjust or not, and why? 3) Why do you believe Jesus (peace be upon him) enacted God's will and not Muhammad (peace be upon him)? I am not asking about the details of the Bible or doctrine you already believe unless directly relevant to this question. I mean, why do you believe Jesus (peace be upon him) is a figure for God's revelation in the first place and not Muhammad (peace be upon him)? 4) If you are able to count to three, and you call 3 beings God. How exactly are you not a polytheist?

Because the prior books doesn't exist. You cannot change God's verses no matter what revelations the prophets have received. What God says in the Koran is that Jews and Christians only make assumptions and twist words but do not know the truth. for example about Jesus and other events. You can't corrupt God's words, but today's Bible isn't from God either. The Torah and Injil in the Koran are not the Old and New Testaments. these are man-made books. The books mentioned, the Torah and Injil, which God sent to the prophets, no longer exist.

Islam played the phone game for 20 years than "the council of uthman" came up with "the official narration" and had all other narrations burned, the difference is that the over 5000 Greek manuscripts or "narrations" for the gospels are available today so thay we can cross reference transparently for authenticity. 17:26 Everyone tends to have a unique situation. Some priests will tailor the length catechism to the person and what they already understand or whatever. Many priests (especially at very large or primarly convert churches) will have a flat 1 year requirement. I studied on my own for 2 or 3 years before I was even able to attend a liturgy in the flesh. I was officially catechised a few months after, but literally everything I was being told, I already knew or believed. I ended up at a different parish by providence, and was baptised there within the year after speaking extensively with the priest there (and communicating all of this to my previous priest, although he still doesn't call me by my baptismal name, and won't let me take the eucharist without seeing my papers, which, I wasn't given a certificate when I was baptised. The majority of Orthodox people do not have one. It's more of a Western Orthodox practice, but when I told him this he refused to sympathize, so I haven't been back there in a long time). I'm not saying I'm a genius or a special case or anything, truly I'm not. I'm no different than a pagan that was baptised in the old days. But I'm saying, find a priest that embraces you and your newness and works with you to the best of his ability.

The problem I have with Catholics and orthodox is the holier than thou stance they always have when they are referring to Protestants. The ironic part about it is the way they worship didn’t appear almost 1000 years later after the crucifixion and the resurrection. They constantly claimed they are the true Christians who worship the same way the disciples worship. Which is inherently wrong and has been disproven multiple times. Not only that the Catholic Church in and of itself the way it is set up is the same way the Roman pagan religion was set up to be able to worship the pagan gods of Rome.
As a person who is still unbaptised, I am not a trinitarian; and one of the things I find with Muslims is their obsession with attacking something called a trinity doctrine (making up at least 80% of all they talk about with Christians) as if people who stop preaching a trinity doctrine alongside the Salvation of YHWH in Christ will somehow become Muslim 😆 Their approach and understanding of the topic are extremely shallow because they merely repeat snippets from other liars, and none of them really know what they're talking about with any depth. And so the moment I tell them I am not a trinitarian 99.9% of them disappear and stop responding, because at these points they are forced to face me on what Christ of the Scriptures actually explicitly taught, about which they know nothing and have no interest, their dawah script simply falls apart. Islam is largely ignorance, deception, hypocrisy and blatant lies, with vioIence as a core component.

For you to say, 'I've searched all other religions and I found mine to be true' suggests that your faith was already deeply rooted in you way before you began your search. It's aimless, no matter what you do people rarely change their stand, the respectful thing to do is to let each other be.

study theology and early church fathers and you will convert to catholicism, most orthodox are still having trouble explaining the difference between the son and holy spirit without the filoque
I suggest reaching out to a priest in the closest one you can find online, and email him and start a dialogue. He should be able to help walk you through your next steps, but it probably will demand a lot of effort and maybe even sacrifice on your part to become a Catechumen and then Convert

So many times, I've watched videos about why you should convert to Islam or why someone converted to Islam, and most times, from my experience, it comes down to "I can't comprehend the Trinity" because for some reason they think the human brain is supposed to be able to comprehend divinity, or some of the most insane, nonsensical leaps in logic I've ever heard. I don't think I've ever come away from an Islam conversion story understanding the person's reasoning for converting.

@0786AHA These two things don't contradict each other. God is one being but three persons. The persons of the Trinity aren't separate beings, but three Persons sharing co-eternally in the same Divine Essence. The Divine Essence is one.

One good argument to pose to Muslims is, why should I believe the Quranic account of Biblical events over the Bible's account, which is a much older manuscript written by people closer to said events both in terms of geographical location and time? To which they will respond "the Bible is full of errors" etc. To which I would then respond, that the present versions of the Bible we have today are aligned upon by both Christian and secular scholars to be the most authentic manuscripts we have - and this is good cause to trust their credibility in the same way that Muslims have many hadiths but not all of them are agreed upon by their own scholars to be authentic, with many "apocryphal" hadiths out there whose authenticity they doubt.
Before reformed theology, and yes, Calvinism Catholics were preventing their people from reading the Bible in their own language. Valid criticisms are valid criticisms.

1) I’m sure you’ve heard of the "could God create a rock He couldn’t lift" example. But let me expand on that a bit for further understanding. Could God create a rock He can’t lift, break, etc., but He could still wield it out of existence, or create that rock to last only a few minutes, or make it unmovable, breakable, etc., only for a few minutes? If this happens, it would negate God being all-powerful because there was a time when God, in fact, couldn’t lift that rock, even if it were for a short time, or even if He could remove it from existence at will. This is the same example with God becoming a man. Even if you reply back saying God had the power to undo being a man or whatever else you say, you believe there was still a time when God needed food, was weak, and susceptible, and this contradicts God's nature and attributes. It would make what you know of God a lie because, in your belief, He is not all-powerful, not self-sustaining, and not all-knowing (remember, "all" here is eternal and never changes).
2) Is giving each person the burden of original sin not an unjust act? I don’t want to hear about rectifying it with the crucifixion; I just want to talk about the initial act of having original sin. Do you personally think it is unjust or not, and why?
3) Why do you believe Jesus (peace be upon him) enacted God's will and not Muhammad (peace be upon him)? I am not asking about the details of the Bible or doctrine you already believe unless directly relevant to this question. I mean, why do you believe Jesus (peace be upon him) is a figure for God's revelation in the first place and not Muhammad (peace be upon him)?

Many priests (especially at very large or primarly convert churches) will have a flat 1 year requirement. I studied on my own for 2 or 3 years before I was even able to attend a liturgy in the flesh. I was officially catechised a few months after, but literally everything I was being told, I already knew or believed. I ended up at a different parish by providence, and was baptised there within the year after speaking extensively with the priest there (and communicating all of this to my previous priest, although he still doesn't call me by my baptismal name, and won't let me take the eucharist without seeing my papers, which, I wasn't given a certificate when I was baptised. The majority of Orthodox people do not have one. It's more of a Western Orthodox practice, but when I told him this he refused to sympathize, so I haven't been back there in a long time). I'm not saying I'm a genius or a special case or anything, truly I'm not. I'm no different than a pagan that was baptised in the old days. But I'm saying, find a priest that embraces you and your newness and works with you to the best of his ability.

The problem I have with Catholics and orthodox is the holier than thou stance they always have when they are referring to Protestants. The ironic part about it is the way they worship didn’t appear almost 1000 years later after the crucifixion and the resurrection. They constantly claimed they are the true Christians who worship the same way the disciples worship. Which is inherently wrong and has been disproven multiple times. Not only that the Catholic Church in and of itself the way it is set up is the same way the Roman pagan religion was set up to be able to worship the pagan gods of Rome.
As a person who is still unbaptised, I am not a trinitarian; and one of the things I find with Muslims is their obsession with attacking something called a trinity doctrine (making up at least 80% of all they talk about with Christians) as if people who stop preaching a trinity doctrine alongside the Salvation of YHWH in Christ will somehow become Muslim 😆 Their approach and understanding of the topic are extremely shallow because they merely repeat snippets from other liars, and none of them really know what they're talking about with any depth. And so the moment I tell them I am not a trinitarian 99.9% of them disappear and stop responding, because at these points they are forced to face me on what Christ of the Scriptures actually explicitly taught, about which they know nothing and have no interest, their dawah script simply falls apart. Islam is largely ignorance, deception, hypocrisy and blatant lies, with vioIence as a core component.

study theology and early church fathers and you will convert to catholicism, most orthodox are still having trouble explaining the difference between the son and holy spirit without the filoque
I suggest reaching out to a priest in the closest one you can find online, and email him and start a dialogue. He should be able to help walk you through your next steps, but it probably will demand a lot of effort and maybe even sacrifice on your part to become a Catechumen and then Convert

@0786AHA These two things don't contradict each other. God is one being but three persons. The persons of the Trinity aren't separate beings, but three Persons sharing co-eternally in the same Divine Essence. The Divine Essence is one.

The only real monotheistic religion is Islam, and any evidence that point Christianity as the religion of truth is just more prominent in Islam, if you don't believe me just do your research with a genuine heart.

One good argument to pose to Muslims is, why should I believe the Quranic account of Biblical events over the Bible's account, which is a much older manuscript written by people closer to said events both in terms of geographical location and time? To which they will respond "the Bible is full of errors" etc. To which I would then respond, that the present versions of the Bible we have today are aligned upon by both Christian and secular scholars to be the most authentic manuscripts we have - and this is good cause to trust their credibility in the same way that Muslims have many hadiths but not all of them are agreed upon by their own scholars to be authentic, with many "apocryphal" hadiths out there whose authenticity they doubt.

You guys need to understand that being a Christian is not any better than being a Muslim. The core problems of every religious people are the same thing every single time.
