I’m originally from Zambia 🇿🇲 and currently based in Lusaka I grew up in the states as a child and did my university in South Africa I can say I love SA! There’s really know need to travel abroad South Africa 🇿🇦 offers everything from culture, good food, shopping at affordable prices and so many option honestly it’s better then where I grew up in the states and all my best friends come from South Africa. Yes I do agree,when I visited my daughter & son in law last year in Connecticut,we spent Christmas with her in law's & they were shocked that we have buildings, roads,and that we have estates with beautiful houses,alot of people overseas are under the impression we have animals running around everywhere 😂.

South African here. I find it so interesting when I see other people from other countries so shocked when they see SA. Its so much more modern and developed then people think. I live in Malawi now with my family and it was a huge cultural shock for me. It is more the Africa that people think it is, but its also developing slowly but surely. But this makes me so proud.
