We played cricket against one of those fancy estates 2 years ago, and it was hilarious(Yes these estates have their own private schools). I was in public school for context.
Most of us was playing 3rd team, or the "cheese and wine team", to skip school as on game days we missed 3 periods to sit in a bus and travel to wherever like a fun road trip with mates. The bus allocated to us was a 40 year old taxi that could not start normally and need some backyard-mechanic method and could not do 40km/h on the highway through joburg.
When we arived we were like fish out of water. We had mismatched shirts and half dont have kits as there is no money, but this school was FANCY AF. We walked through school halls and this place had glass and steel construction. The fields was set on on a hill that overlooked the estate and it was beautifull.
We did get funny looks getting of the bus as the bus backfired and we pushstarted it and the other teams kids climbed out their of their parents BMW's. We got a locker room that was massive with fancy shit, normally we got given a bathroom or just a hill to hide behind.
The mid-innings break was full coffee and fancy chips, which we thought was expensive, their tuck shop wasnt just a hole in the wall, but a full resturant with tables and food that they could make.
It was ironic for us as we just sat and talked KAK on the field and roasted the other team so bad one of their batsman quit on the pitch.
We won against that schools first team so idk if were good, or they were shit

Waterfall Mall isn't 10 000kms from Sandton, not even 1000kms 😂😂😂. Its only 20 - 11kms. Yes, it's I Midrand.

Remember an Estate in South African English is what you call a Gated Community in North America. Waterfall is an area in Midrand and Midrand is a town next to or outside of Johannesburg. Midrand is not a part of the Johannesburg local government, but because Midrand so close to Johannesburg, some people think think it's apart of Johannesburg.
