The Quintanillas have every right to Selena’s earning because that is her family. And they were there with her when she was famous and there with her when she wasn’t.

Well I mean AB has every right . I understand that this woman doesn't think she is Selena but what I do believe is that she does use some of the features that she has of Selena for clout. Sooo The Quintanilla's are entitled to talk and possibly even sewing her.
No offense to the guy, but there are so many stories of people’s interactions with AB at this point that it’s just an unfortunate representation of all the hard work the fam has done to keep things going. But most people can separate those efforts from AB’s ego. He should probably stop blocking others and block himself from social media.

Unfortunately, AB went off on the fans at the festival, threatening to cancel the next festival events. He later tried apologizing, but it went by the way side, I guess. The damage was already done. To be fair, though, AB has gone through a lot since his sister's tragic passing. So give him a break. The medication can screw with your emotions, too.

I love Selena and I appreciate many Selena impersonators. I personally never really liked AB or Abraham but they sort of did have a right to get upset about Amanda. Amanda is literally making money off of doing this, she has made autographs acting like she’s some big star and using Selena’s look as her way to gaining money. I’m sorry but personally Amanda solis cannot sing. Her voice, just no. Amanda is the only Selena impersonator who has tried too hard to look like her and then try and make a big career out of it. The family is still grieving and I would feel that they would not appreciate her making money out of Selena. She tries and smiles and laughs like Selena, she tries to have the same mannerism and facial expressions. It’s just too much. And I don’t really think Amanda looks like Selena as much, unless she puts on ten pounds of makeup.

Its really sad that people can be so harsh and mean to someone who just wants to sing. All the threats for her on social media and even AB and Abraham stooping to such a low level is shameful too. They could of taken the high road and just either ignored her or given her the go ahead either or is better than bad mouthing her and then those shameful Selena fans that will blindly defend her family even when they're in the wrong going after Amanda for no reason. Hopefully she pulls thru this tbh most artists now a days will sing Selena covers without the blessing of AB or Abraham because they don't care and most are in Mexico too.
For the Life in me, I dont understand why any person would want to imitate any Popular Artist. If I want to see/hear a singer I would rather listen or see the real person and not an imitater, but than thats my opinion, I don't think AB is griping about fans singing Selena Covers, its about an Imitater DRESSING like Selena & trying to be her

Like someone mentioned before its mainly for artists that have passed on In which they HAVE to dress like the artist to do that. And how do they get the option to see THE REAL person if they aren't with us? Impersonators aren't nothing new. Look at Melissa Sanchez from way back when. Also she said she got invited to the Wax figure event, what happened since then? I can understand the little Selena "documentary" that she did, was a little much especially showing "Selena" shot, in blood etc. but come on! Threats are a little to much! Go touch some grass! Selena has a legacy which her family helped create and played a huge role. Now, to see hundreds of people trying to profit and book gigs from Selena's legacy without any consideration of her family who still own the rights to her music. They are not being assholes, people are just stupid because they don't understand. If you had a profitable legacy that was of your own creation you have every right to defend it.

And as someone who lost my father to murder I can understand her family It would break my heart too if people were emulating my father his work and appearance because it would be a constant reminder of how he died. However people are going to do whatever they choose whether we agree or not.

The family has the right to keep her memory alive, which to you fools may look like they are "making money" after her passing. They are what created Selena and they play a role in keeping her memory alive. When you have thousands of people pretending to be Selena and making money of of her WITHOUT reaching out to the family first and expecting to profit off her image. That is exactly why the family needs to remain vigalant. If this was your successful family, you would protect their legacy at all costs.
