Ok, I have to admit. I did an eye roll at first watching this because I thought I tried everything to stop creasing under my eyes. Then I thought maybe I'm using the wrong brush to set my concealer. I think what I was using must've been laying down a heavier layer of powder. I switched to a more fluffier brush and just barely used powder to set my concealer like you demonstrated, and BAM! I cannot believe it! I now have a concealer that stays all day long and does NOT crease!! I almost can't believe it. Been using this technique for a week now and it works every time! I'm so happy! I'm sorry for the eye roll. You rock, Angie! Thank you. ❤
As much as I love you Angie, sometimes I wish we could see you use your techniques on someone who actually has wrinkles under/around their eyes. I feel like no matter what I do, concealers and powders are not my friend but it's a toss up if a little coverage is better than the discoloration even if it looks bad lol.
I absolutely, totally agree with this!… And I thought the same thing every time I watch her lol! I have such large bags under my eyes and dark circles that it almost looks like a bruise. also, my wrinkles are underneath my eye, not at the crows feet. Everything I have tried, even if it keeps the concealer from falling into the creases, it still looks terribly terribly dry by the end of the day. 8:13 Like you, I have never ever found anything that covers them up and works. So yes, it would be nice to see her do something Like that.
I totally agree- I put it on, it looks terrible, I take it off. I've seen some different tips and tricks but nothing seems to work for me. Maybe I need a different concealer.
Good morning!! ❤ My favorite time of day, Angie and my nuface 😂. So I have to admit that I got sucked into the comments on this past Fridays video and was so annoyed that I *almost* left a post aimed tlat the nonbelievers and the oh so lovely ladies (100% sarcasm) accusing you of lying about eyelid surgery. I went as far as typing a response in my notes app. Then I realized that you dont even address these people claiming you're not being truthful, so I decided to take the high road too. My mom taught me well. 😅 Kudos to you for not taking those kinds of comments personally! I still haven't graduated to wearing concealer under my eyes bcz I still have too much crepiness that the concealer just accentuates the crinkles, but in all honesty, since starting the Nira, I've noticed that I don't really need the concealer either! Win win. My eyelids are shrinking, btw, combo of sleeping on my back, using Nira and tret on my lids, and that crinkly overhanging skin is slowly shrinking! Wishing you and all other Angie fans a wonderful day ❤❤❤
I also abstained from weighing in on those comments. Angie and most of her viewers are classier than that. The NYX powder works well for me and that was Angie's suggestion.
Good morning Cathryn! Thanks for having my back but I'm happy you didn't engage them! Sounds like you're getting great result with your NIRA, back sleeping, and tretinoin already! Keep up the good work, it'll only improve the longer you do them! xo ~a 💜
Good morning...Kathyrn I'm so glad you shared your experience, can you please share the retinol A that you put on top of your eye lids...I'm trying out Roc? but I like to keep my options open 😇 thank you too..
I have been watching Hot and Flashy for a long time off and on. Since my last birthday I had of 57 I am glued to it now . I had noticed my old skin care routine wasn’t cutting it so I found the video of you doing your skin routine and I purchased all the products and signed up for agency , purchased the red led mask , I already have the NuFACE . I ordered the laser suppose to be here soon. I went and had derma-planing done and had a facial , then I started the skin care it’s been 2 months now , everyone ask what I’ve done and I tell them to watch your Chanel I have even copied off the skin care routine and sent them that! Loving this new glow wish I had started tretnion earlier , but better late than never. Thanks for all you do for women! I have even changed the way I do my make up since I watched your latest video on apply makeup too ! I had fraxel laser done about the same time as you did , i ways thinking of doing Morpheus 8 but can’t seem to get up the nerve lol not sure the price is worth the pain or results ,, don’t forget to let us know what you think of the results of the Morpheus treatment you had. I love the Lancôme concealer and another hydrating concealer I love is Givenchy prism Libre . It’s really great. Thanks again for changing my outlook as I was getting depressed with my skin but now I feel great again !!!
just saw your comment and tried it.. wow works! I skipped the powder it always makes it look dry and flaky..l also dabbed a little lip balm on top finally I can use concealer thx for the tip
I am 45 with my fare share crinkles, dark circles and puffiness. I absolutely agree with Angie. I apply a very full coverage concealer with a dainty concealer brush for targeted application. I use a concealer very close to my foundation colour. That way there is no grey cast from my dark circles and I don’t need a corrector. I use a fine, brightening powder to brighten up my under eyes instead of a light concealer. I keep my under eyes hydrated and never apply mattifying primer under the eyes. I have extremely sensitive, acne prone grease ball skin and it works
I’m in my 50s and have had a lot of issues with creasing under the eye. The ONLY thing that worked is dabbing a tiny amount of face oil on top of the concealer. I learned this from a influencer on TikTok. I also recently tried applying the tiny amount of oil before the concealer and that works too. Applying any powder under the eye created a lot of creasing for me. Having a hydrated under eye area is also very important.
Totally agree with you. I put a small dab of the Ordinary's Squalane Oil under my eyes, pat on small creases around my lips and on one wrinkle on my forehead. I leave it about 10-15 minutes, then do my makeup. It works so good.
My foundation is oil-based and I have used it over a concealer and I don't get crepe eyes. But I'm looking for an oil-based quick concealer to use without having to use foundation and for quick minimal application day. There's got to be one with oil somewhere that isn't water or silicone based.
Same! Dabbing a little oil has been the only thing that has really helped me. Also just the tiniest amount of powder- hard for me because I love powder powder powder 😂😂
I love Maybelline Age Rewind in light. I have used so many concealers but I always come back to this one. I love the satin finish, the shade is perfect and they have added more shades. I am okay with the applicator sponge which is treated with an anti microbial. It gives me just the right amount of coverage. I do use your concealer brush of course. I love it but I do find it a little challenging to get in the inner corners of my eyes. This is still the best concealer brush I have used. The Trish McEvoy with only 3 shades is not really going to do it. I also think it is pricey at $46. I live that the Maybelline Age Rewind is so affordable. Less than $10.
Your brush is probably my most used brush...thank you so much for creating it! For my dry skin I find that pre hydrating my under eyes with a light eye cream 20 minutes before makeup really helps the concealer blend and not look dry or cakey. And I so agree...less is more for sure. Pixi Peach corrector has been a game changer to neutralize my dark purple inner corners and has enabled me to use less concealer. Some days I just go with corrector and foundation and skip concealer all together! Have a great day Angie!
Do you use the brush to apply the pixie also? I find I have to wash the brush after 2-3 used to keep it working well. Otherwise I use a tiny beauty sponge damped. I wish the brush didn't need washing on so often.
I was never really happy with concealer brushes. Then about 9 months ago I gifted myself your concealer brush. GAME CHANGER! Now I will only use a brush - the A506 specifically. I do struggle with dryness around the eye and concealers will crack and cake more often then not but using a brush really helps it lay beautifully until I dry out.
I think I mostly just need you to do my makeup every day! You make it look so easy. I’m committed to using up what I have before I try something new, but I’m definitely going to try all of these as I can. As I’m getting older I really want to just find my holy grails and get rid of all the extra stuff I’ve random bought on impulse. I’d rather spend $40 on one product than $15 on things that don’t work well for me. Thank you! You are seriously just the very best. I’m so appreciative of you ❤
Hi Its_Jolaine, I had to laugh at your statement. My sentiment exactly. I DREAD having to put on makeup, then wondering if I have enough time to get it on before I have to leave the house. So having Angie do the makeup would solve all kinds of problems. I wonder how she can get to all of our houses each morning?
@@jowiens32 Sounds good to me! She will be one busy lady for sure, but who can turn down a helicopter, or a really cute guy? We better make the guy Rich, as she goes through lots of makeup! 😉
I'm 59 and have been using your concealer tricks from years ago since you put it out!! Game changer for me!!!!! I haven't tried the Loreal but I do love the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Concealer (I'm guessing they are similar). I'm still using the It Cosmetics finishing powder AND I use your brush (Actually use all BK Beauty brushes). Thank you thank you!!!!
I love this video and just wanted to also share with you all a really good technique I saw on Kate Talberts channel regarding under eye concealers using setting spray and toilet paper! Some of you might already know about this but worth sharing.
Love seeing drugstore skincare and makeup ! Expensive skincare and makeup is just so unaffordable right now ! Love you and support your channel ! Something’s that are more expensive are worth going for ,like eyeshadow pallets , but hopefully things will become more affordable !
Perfect timing! I was just watching your concealer video from a few years ago last night after noticing mine was settling into a million fine lines under my eyes and wondering what I could do to improve things. I’m 59 and thought, who better to turn to than Angie? Thanks again for the great content. I’ve learned so much!
I bought the Lancome concealer and the NYX mineral powder and I love them. The powder is the only one that keeps my t-zone shine free all day and it's not expensive. Thanks Angie, have a great day!
NYX Bare With Me concealer was recommended by Risa does Make Up a while ago, and I never looked back. The only one that does not show my fine lines on my 52 year old eyes. A little goes a long way yet it’s not a thick concealer at all. I absolutely love it.
Thank you so much for clarifying whether or not to take foundation all the way up to the eye or not. I was just thinking “How come nobody says it or makes it clear what I’m supposed to do”… and low and behold you told me! 🎉
Angie I tried your instructions on this video and I am amazed!! I had always put foundation under my eyes and then the concealer, it wasn't a good look. I creased up and got flaky. I learn so much from you. I put my make up on and followed your video - wow, what a difference. Thank you Angie!
I mostly use the Lancôme Idole concealer and I’ve found that if I put a bit on the back of my hand and mix in just a tiny bit of moisturizer (I’ve been using a L’Oréal eye crème for that), it helps with settling in my creases and not looking too heavy. I have pretty dark inner corner and under eye, if I would lay off the dairy those would get better, but I love cheese.
I’ve been putting my concealer on first before foundation and have been having the best results 😊 I also use the Lancôme and one of my tried and true is the Maybelline age rewind in neutral. 💜💜💜
The age rewind concealer is my favorite! If I ever use another in my makeup case, I look years older. It creases, cakes, etc. The age rewind is better to me than high dollar brands I have tried!! God bless 😊
It seems like so many people love the Age Rewind concealer, but it just didn't work for me. I hated the applicator; it was so messy, and I just kept getting way too much product. Also, it gave me no coverage. It looked like it had no pigment! I tried the color Cool Ivory, and Idk, maybe that's a problem with that color.
I ordered your concealer brush. I love it!!! Being 62 I need all the help I can get with under eyes and dark dark circles. So of course when you love something that much you order a second just in case. Thank you so much for making brushes that are great for anyone, but especially us older women who still want to look our best. 🙏❤️
Hi Angie! You are so right when you say we need to revise the way we apply makeup as we get older. My favorite concealer is the Lancome, too. Your brush applies and spreads it out perfectly. I have dry skin and I don't use a lot of powder but I have to agree that the NYX is a great setting powder. I use it sparingly and I'm good all day. 😊
I love this kitten paw brush! I just got it yesterday and this morning was my first attempt. First attempt = wow! I’m a real person in Salt Lake City. I’m a mom and busy but do a few quick touches in the morning. My “technique” even as a first-timer was impressive! Thank you, Angie! I’m genuinely pleased and impressed.
Hi Angie! I really appreciate your concealer update! I watch your updates regularly now that I'm learning about makeup for maturing skin! I was wondering, as I'm realizing how much of a game-changer primers and concealers are: 1) Do you have different preferred primer for undereye concealer vs the rest of your face foundation primer? 2) Do you use the same primer regardless of concealer or foundation? 3) Do you put your spf on first, and then primer and then concealer? Or is it primer then spf? 4) Have you tried Laura Mercier's recent primers or concealers, or Shiseido's (I used to love one of theirs, now discontinued), or Tarte's new shape tape radiant concealer? (their regular shape tape which a mature friend swears by is too dry for me, but a 'radiant' version sounded neat for under eye potentially...) I have super-sensitive, textured acne prone combination skin especially in T zone since youth but _also_ have wrinkles, crepe-iness and discoloration around my hooded eye and lip/nose area now, so dealing with the shifting differences as my skin changes is confusing, and I'm trying to figure out how to optimize my routine!
Hi Desiree! I don't use primers on a regular basis and don't have a current fave face primer. I loved Laura Mercier Original Primer as a concealer primer under eyes. If you use primer it goes on after sunscreen (let sunscreen dry for 15 minutes before applying makeup if you can)! I just got the new Tarte concealer but haven't tried it yet. Have a great day! 💜
I bought the BK Beauty 101 brush at your recommendation and I have to say I love it! Been using it for a month now. It is the best brush I have ever owned. So soft! Perfectly sized for the job. Feathers out concealer perfectly for a smooth, blended finish and saves on product. A real winner!! Thank you.
Thanks you so much. I’m 57 and have been loving the Lancôme but needed the reminder less is more. I think I was putting my foundation too high and using too much consealer. I’ve been using Bye Bye Pores and Charlotte Tillbury setting powder. I will try NYX and use less.
Just ordered your concealer brush, can’t wait to give it a try as soon as it arrives! I recently bought the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder bc so many UA-camrs rave about. I must be the only person on the planet who doesn’t like it! I have very fair skin and it looked white and shiny on me, but worse was it emphasized pores I didn’t know I even had!! It is going straight back to Ulta, so disappointing. I’ll give the NYX a try. Always enjoy your scientific approach to beauty products, Angie.
Great advice! I have a non concealer-related question. Finding a mineral body sunscreen that does not look greasy and weird and also does not stain your clothes seems next to impossible! Would love to have you test mineral body sunscreens! In the summer you want to protect your arms, back of your neck etc. I am thinking I am not the only one having a hard time with this!
Equate (Walmart's store brand) has a nice one. It doesn't have a white film, dries fast, and a slight clean fragrance that dissipates very quickly. SPF 50. Works great on arms, legs, feet (if you're wearing sandals) and doesn't aggravate KP chicken skin on my upper arms. Easy to rub in. I wear hats all the time. Cover the back of my neck, my shoulders, face, ears and scalp. Seems to me I'd need 3 or 4 additional types of sunscreen to cover my areas of concern. The Equate one works for most areas, but I do use a good face sunscreen too. Just wish some product would work for my scalp without making my babyfine and thinning hair all greasy. Hence the hats!
Perfect timing! I have dark circles under my eyes no matter what. Recently, I was at Sephora looking for a color corrector. Perhaps by omitting the setting powder, my concealer was creasing. I thought the powder was making it crease by drawing out the moisture under my eyes, so I was omitting it. Definately will try your method shown in your video to perfect my application without creasing. Thanks!
Love, love, love your channel. Best product L'oreal Age Perfect Radiant Concealer. I couldn't find a concealer that wouldn't crease. The tip about making sure you have moisterized undereye skin was point on. Plus, this color and formula is perfect for me. Thank you! My skin is combo/dry . FYI - I did buy your kitten paw brush, which is a game changer, too.
I have started using the Lancôme Teint Idole Unltra Wear concealer in 090. I have severe dark circles. It is the best I have found. Thanks for the recommendation Angie.
I have 52yo with warm tan skin, undereyes that are dry , with fine lines and slight darkness. I try to minimize the layers . I start by "over moisturizing " (suggested by wayne goss) because my dry undereyes soak it up . Then i apply thin layer of color corrector in my troughs in a dark peach. Finally, a hydrating concealer with light/med coverage. I use Sephora brightening serum concealer. I do not powder.
I too have the Lancome concealer (along with your brush and the NYX powder), but I couldn't ever get it to look natural. After watching this video, I think I was probably using too much...I'll try 'er again with these tips. Thank you much! 💖
Oh my word I've tried so many ways to use concealer. No matter what I feel like it draws attention to my wrinkles. I'm using the Lancome one that you recommended. I'll have to keep working at it.
Thanks for mentioning the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift. I just recently bought it on the recommendation of Ms. Gold Girl and love it! I believe it's technically a corrector though, not a concealer, which is why there are only three shades. 🙂
The Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift Concealer does indeed, as Angie noted, have fragrance in it. I suggest you reconsider using it because it's a bad idea to use a product with fragrance around the eyes.
If you have very dark like me it takes several steps. I use in this order: blue, peach or yellow, regular concealer, the a brighter at the very end …it takes a village!!! I use very very thin layers
Hi Angie 👋👋 Just received your A506 concealer brush. 😍😍😍 what a great brush! Thank you. Great concealer recommemdations but a Dior one matching my Dior foundation works best for me. Since today is a no makeup day I just applied a bit of Dior matte face primer then the concealer. Love the result. Again, thank you.
@@AngieHotandFlashy it's a keeper ! Hoping use for setting a bit of powder too. Not much makeup these days. Light foundation, bit of blush and lipstick. Mascara with a bit of shadow to brighten. That's about it. Less is more.
My favorite time of day! Angie, coffee, and putting on my makeup! I finally found a concealer routine that actually works and thank you for your brush. If I'm not using that, I use a damp beauty blender. Thank you for coming on so routinely! It gives me peace! Have a great day. I have to take my son to his first check up after having surgery on his foot 2 weeks ago. He really did a number on his foot! ~lori xo
I don't get how a mineral powder gives no flash back. It usually does for me. Will try the NYX one! The Lancôme didn't not work for me but I will try the other one you suggested. Thank you.
Hi Angie, thanks for the video! Unfortunately, your favorite concealer, the Lancome Teinte Idole Concealer, has fragrance in it, specifically rosa gallica flower extract. I suggest you reconsider using this because it's a very bad idea to use a product with fragrance near your eyes. Also, I have very dry skin, dryer than yours I think, so I never use powder under my eyes. In fact, I use very little powder; just a dusting on my nose in cooler weather, and a little all over my face in warmer weather. But I seldom have problems with concealer creasing, so I do all right without it.
Great video. I have always followed your tips and appreciate them as your skin looks like perfection. I use some of the concealers you suggested but right now I am loving the Physicians Formula Butter Concealer. Plus, using a brush to apply is a game changer!
Have you ever tried the Pat McGrath concealer? It is probably between the Lancôme and Dermablend as far as coverage and it does not crease and is smooth. It’s my go to - I have dark circles due to hollows and some discoloration and the PM makes it disappear.
I am not disagreeing with any of Angie’s recommendations, but everyone’s skin ages differently. My under eyes have gotten dry as I’ve aged and I’m finding that almost any powder exaggerates my fine lines. I’m stuck where if I powder to set then my concealer creases less but I have dry under eyes by the end of the day. Alternatively if I don’t set, then of course concealer creases. I’ve started just putting up with the creasing and knowing I’m going to need to pat out creases throughout the day - to me that is preferable (and easy to fix) compared to dealing with super dry crepey under eyes with powder. There’s no perfect solution, just picking the approach that works best for me for now!
I use the Tarte Creaseless Concealer and I just have to tap it out once to remove slight creasing, after this it’s fine. I don’t use powder for the same reason, but I don’t have a lot of under eye wrinkles either. I use Retin A under my eyes as well.
I use the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift as well ..but it's not really considered a concealer, it is more of an under eye brightener which is how I use it and why it only has three shades. Great Video I'm going to try that Lancome concealer.
Your video was amazing, wow! I have a quick question: If I had to choose one concealer that gives the most realistic and natural look for dark circles-one that is undetectable- which one would you recommend for men, please?
Hi Angie, I don’t have problems with creasing, because I don’t have much lines but shadows from eyebags. All consealers show the strucure of my skin though, flakes and dryness. Today I used the maybelline age rewind. Still not invisible but not too bad. Sometimes I think, I’d be better off with no consealer at all, just showing my blue shadows.
I love the A506 Concealer Brush so much that I actually bought 2! I also really like Lancome Teinte Idole Concealer and it was my go to concealer for about 2 years but now I've been loving the Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover Adjustable Foundation & Concealer. Very concentrated and a little goes a LONG WAY. I also find I don't need a setting powered under my eyes when I use the Danessa Myricks concealer.
I have loose skin under my eyes due to volume loss so this is forever a struggle when applying concealer 😣 I know you’ve done so many helpful skincare videos but I’d love if you did one dedicated to how you improved your eye area ❤
Really lovedddd this as I’m experiencing a bit more than the usual wrinkling lately due to some aggressive retin A application & additional products 😢. Ugh. Needs moisture under my eye bags & orbital area.
Good Morning Angie.. Good concealer tips I have 2 of your concealer brushes and just love them they are soft fit beautifully under the eye and in corners by just flipping the brush over great makeup tool to have...Have a lovely day! ❤
Good morning Angie. Yes to your undereye concealer brush. It works so much better than fingers. Angie, have you tried the Covergirl Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer? I think it's a great product. Thanks so much. Have a great Tuesday. ❤❤
Happy Tuesday Rene! I don't think I've ever tried a Covergirl concealer... I'll check it out, I'm looking for another drugstore concealer to recommend! Have a great day! 💜
thanks Angie for your tips and tricks! I figured out why my hairline and t-zone tend to develop a rash, its b-cuz my face is allergic to oils. so I stopped using face oil for x-tra hydration and no more rashes 🙂
Hi Angie! Thanks for this video. I’m 46 and have rarely worn makeup in the last few years so when I do I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing lol. Especially now that I have mature skin. Just wondering if you’ve tried any new concealers lately. I’m curious about Makeup by Mario, Haus Labs, Tower 28…are these any good for mature skin? Any other new launches you’d recommend? Thanks so much!!
I LOVE the age perfect concealer, one of my all time faves! It’s the only drugstore one I use. I’ve been enjoying the newest huda concealer lately. I’m 44 & yes, the concealers & techniques that worked best for me 4 years ago are totally different than what works best for me now. Gotta move w the tide of aging lol.
Thanks so much for explaining and showing this again , Angie! this is the one thing I still cant get right but am determined to get it right and looking gorgeous! Have followed your routines and using some of your products and have not been disappointed yet so am sure I shall succeed with this and your tips too! ❤
Love the video, and your closeups that really show the makeup application! I know that eye area bugaboos are the main reason anyone buys concealers, but could you please do perhaps a short on the types of concealers you might use on hyperpigmentation, silvery surgery scars, birthmarks and other problems on the face in general? I have about eight different concealers I'm currently cussing at, and would love to see your suggestions. Thanks Angie!
Love your videos Angie! However, for me new lancome is a thumbs down. Sooo miss the old formula! I had to go back to their waterproof one. Which isn't ideal as I have dryer skin but doesn't settle into my cracks and better coverage. I will keep trying your recs though! ❤
Really helpful information today, learned alot. Wish your videos were longer as I enjoy the wealth of information you have and share. You are extremely helpful. Have a great day 😀
Such a great video, and love your BK concealer brush as well, depends on the concealer indeed. But i always love to learn from you, it was very helpful, thanks so much!!!!🤩🤩😘😘🤩🤩😘😘
I learned long ago not to apply to much concealer per your recommendation. I don’t have dark circles (yet) so I use it to brighten my under eyes. I got the Lancôme concealer (also per your recommendation) and love it. I also got the L’Oréal Age Perfect radiant concealer which I use everyday, however, I was looking to buy a darker color and my closest Walmart took it out of the cosmetic store modular. BUT I can order it online, no problem. Thanks Angie for the video!
Hi Angie ! Do you have any suggestions for what you do when you get like a hair tickling your under eye or your eyes water and an area wears off like in one spot ? Or you accidently wipe off something ?What do you do to fix something like that if you were at like an outing or restaurant?do you take a purse with you and stuff? Or do you just leave it ? Can you do a vid on touching up and makeup booboos Thank you ! Love your videos
Absolutely love the bk 506 brush! I am going to try the setting powder you recommend. I see that I’m applying too much concealer and over my foundation. I will try it your way. Thank you for the great tips as usual. I get giddy when I see a new video from you! I really appreciate them!
Thank you for the tips! I feel that concealer accentuates my wrinkles, so I rarely use it. However, after watching your video, I have been doing it all wrong!
Good morning!! Your brush is amazing! I ordered another one use it for contour too. Your skin looks amazing, I think that Morpheus is kicking in! Angie have you tried the Armani concealer? That’s my holy grail one ❤❤❤
I used your method with your favorite concealer and I think my undereye has never looked this good. I don't like powder because I have very dry undereye but it seems okay this time! Thanks so much ❤
Angie......really curious if you are planning on trying the Make Up Forever Powder Foundation and/or the Tarte? I haven't used powder foundation (Too Face was my choice in my 40's) in about 15 years but am very curious about these products. Thanks, you are my #1 Go-To opinion for mature skin. Kemberly
I'm sorry for the eye roll. You rock, Angie! Thank you. ❤
Oh YAY!! I'm so happy you tried it and it's working so well for you!!
As much as I love you Angie, sometimes I wish we could see you use your techniques on someone who actually has wrinkles under/around their eyes. I feel like no matter what I do, concealers and powders are not my friend but it's a toss up if a little coverage is better than the discoloration even if it looks bad lol.
I thought it was a filter, no?
To be fair she still has an old neck!
Trying to find someone who gives tutorials on faces that don't use Botox is a unicorn.
Keep up the good work, it'll only improve the longer you do them! xo ~a 💜
I abstained as well, but it was tough. Yea to Angie!
Good morning...Kathyrn I'm so glad you shared your experience, can you please share the retinol A that you put on top of your eye lids...I'm trying out Roc? but I like to keep my options open 😇 thank you too..
Same here. I refrained but it was difficult.
I just saw a hack to put lip balm under your eyes that will keep the creasing away. I tried it yesterday and love it.
just saw your comment and tried it..
Hi, Which fine, brightening powder do you use?
yes, me too! What's the fine, brightening powder? Thanks!
That’s interesting! I have the same “conditions as you”.
What concealer and powder do you use?
I’m going to try that- thanks:)))
Same! Dabbing a little oil has been the only thing that has really helped me. Also just the tiniest amount of powder- hard for me because I love powder powder powder 😂😂
Thanks for the tutorial. Your method and explanation are comprehensive and effective for my 59-year old skin.
So happy you love my brush Tam!
Do you use the brush to apply the pixie also? I find I have to wash the brush after 2-3 used to keep it working well. Otherwise I use a tiny beauty sponge damped. I wish the brush didn't need washing on so often.
I find the pixie corrector very drying I have stopped using it.
@@maryrose7842 bobbi brown bisque is a nice alternative
I think I mostly just need you to do my makeup every day! You make it look so easy. I’m committed to using up what I have before I try something new, but I’m definitely going to try all of these as I can. As I’m getting older I really want to just find my holy grails and get rid of all the extra stuff I’ve random bought on impulse. I’d rather spend $40 on one product than $15 on things that don’t work well for me. Thank you! You are seriously just the very best. I’m so appreciative of you ❤
I hope you know that your skin will continue to change and you'll need to find new holy grails as it does. Life is so cruel...
@@MyCleverHandle So cruel!
@@texassews535 if we all pitch in and get her a helicopter, maybe then she will agree? Add a cute pilot? There has to be a way! 😆
Love your tips today. Concealer does bring out wrinkles but I'm 65 I earned my wrinkles, but the dark circles have got to go.🎉 thank you so much. hugs
Awesome! So happy you love them!!
Can never have too many concealer tips esp for us mature ladies. Thanks so much for always having content that help us
Angie I tried your instructions on this video and I am amazed!!
I have pretty dark inner corner and under eye, if I would lay off the dairy those would get better, but I love cheese.
life’s too short - enjoy your cheese!! 👍🎉🤗
For me, it's ice cream, and cheese, and milk, and cream cheese, and creme custards, and...
@@grespinosa if only the dark circles were the only symptom of my dairy consumption 🤢
I’ve been putting my concealer on first before foundation and have been having the best results 😊
I also use the Lancôme and one of my tried and true is the Maybelline age rewind in neutral.
Always up for concealer tips as a mature woman
Thank you.
I love the Lancôme. My absolute favorite from when you first demonstrated it! 💕
I’ve tried so many different concealers and techniques to minimize creasing. What worked for me? Applying the powder with a damp beauty blender.
Thanks you so much. I’m 57 and have been loving the Lancôme but needed the reminder less is more. I think I was putting my foundation too high and using too much consealer. I’ve been using Bye Bye Pores and Charlotte Tillbury setting powder. I will try NYX and use less.
I absolutely love how you keep things so simple and that the tips are so effective!
Glad you like them!
For drugstore, the Neutrogena radiant creamy concealer is better with more coverage.
Thanks!
Good morning 🌞
Angie, thank you for sharing All of your advice with the ladies 🙋♀️ you are a blessing 🙏😇
I use very very thin layers
really?! interesting. which brightener do you use?
HOLY COW! you solved my problem in one video! so dry and wrinkly under my eyes after makeup. I ran upstairs and tried this out. Works!
Yay! I hope you love your brush!!
~lori xo
I hope your son has a speedy recovery! 💜
@HotandFlashy Me too but the doc said it will never be the same again. Broke all three bones that go to your foot.
Oh no, so sorry to hear.
I really trust your opinion, Angie. You do your homework and research. Thank you!!!
I use Max Factor flawless concealer and I find it very good
Hi Angie, I don’t have problems with creasing, because I don’t have much lines but shadows from eyebags. All consealers show the strucure of my skin though, flakes and dryness. Today I used the maybelline age rewind. Still not invisible but not too bad. Sometimes I think, I’d be better off with no consealer at all, just showing my blue shadows.
Me too
Concealer, sorry English not not my first language 😉
I love the A506 Concealer Brush so much that I actually bought 2! I also really like Lancome Teinte Idole Concealer and it was my go to concealer for about 2 years but now I've been loving the Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover Adjustable Foundation & Concealer. Very concentrated and a little goes a LONG WAY. I also find I don't need a setting powered under my eyes when I use the Danessa Myricks concealer.
I think Trish McEvoy's Eye Lift is mainly a color corrector. The line has other concealers.
I have loose skin under my eyes due to volume loss so this is forever a struggle when applying concealer 😣 I know you’ve done so many helpful skincare videos but I’d love if you did one dedicated to how you improved your eye area ❤
This is the video I did about my eyelids: ua-cam.com/video/-VU49Sp_lLM/v-deo.html
Really lovedddd this as I’m experiencing a bit more than the usual wrinkling lately due to some aggressive retin A application & additional products 😢. Ugh. Needs moisture under my eye bags & orbital area.
Thank you! I'm going to give it a try. I have been stuck in a rut for so long!

Omg I was literally just thinking to myself that I wanted you to do a video on under eye concealer!!! Always on point. Thank you.
All your recommendations typically work for me. I’ve been trying NYX can’t stop won’t stop and liking it. Worth a grab for the price ☺️
Love your tutorials! My question is: Do you use an under eye primer? Thanks!
Angie, please review the Fiera concealer that I’m seeing on all the ads. It claims to be the be all end all for aging and dry skin under the eyes.

Have you tried the Natasha Denona Highlighter concealer? Amazing for old skin

As always great and useful content! I may try to puck up the NYX. I have a lot of concealers (none mentioned by you!) which I have to use!
Good morning, Angie! 😊Your concealer, brush rocks!
Thanks Sara!!
Loved your video!
Which eye cream and sunscreen you use before applying the concealer in that everyday routine?
I love the tip and I will definitely not be putting foundation all the way up onto my eye. Thanks again

Great tips - love the A506 brush for applying concealer. And the NYX powder is my fav! Thanks for the great video Angie!
Kemberly
