I know a guy that can do digital modes on the G90 without omnirig/flrig AND without the CE19. Great show!
I now have both. If you can only get one at this time I would go for the G90, as it is more feature complete, and has more power available. The G106 strengths are portability mainly, and it has a general coverage receiver, if you find that attractive. I would also consider it a true QRP rig. The G-90 can of course be turned down to QRP levels. I like them both. I have done some real time side by side receiver comparisons on the G90 vs the G106, and could not hear a noticeable difference in regards to signal strength or readability. The G106 sounds quieter but with at signal tuned in they were very similar.

Hello, I love your videos, for they are very informative. I might just start posting videos. I have all of the professional test equipment that is required, and I might start demonstrating the signal levels, the signal to noise ratio, spurious signals and do they meet FCC radio transmit signal standards. Keep it up...Great job..
The microphone on the G106 is limited as the housing has a minuscule microphone element crammed into the case with the loudspeaker - end result is muffled audio on the G106. This is a great opportunity for an aftermarket microphone or better for portable usage, a headset.
ive heard the g106 transmit USB much better than this I suspect something is wrong here what not sure, almost sounds like RF is getting in on the mic
What in the same Hill is all that clapping and weird weird music in the background
"QSELLLL GIMMIE YER RST!!" xD
What headphones are you wearing? :)
Its Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro i think :)
I pipe my audio thru my surround system LOL Or more often the computer handles audio thru a 5 channel speaker system... the 106 sounds like it has the early baofeng mic issue... way to small of a hole for sound to enter... take mic apart and look! 106 sounds horrible!!!!
The KROQ HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I don’t know what it is maybe I’m the only one, but it kind of irritates me watching you slurping coffee out of that cup.
Lots of people spend too much time worrying about trifles.
