hey I'm from india and have been looking to get into audible..there are a few books that show that they cost Rs0.00 on amazon and says free with audible trial.
so I wanted to ask that if I end up getting my an audible subscription then can I access to these books which are Rs0.00 without any hassle of buying it or using credit etc? example- like there's a romance author mariana zapata and all her books are like Rs0.00..so does that mean i have to pay nothing but for susbscription and then i can listen to all of them?

Call me stupid! I keep listening to your videos and other ones, even the info put out directly by Amazon. For the LIFE of me, NO ONE WILL ADDRESS THIS ONE THING!!! If you can listen to any book, why do you need credits? I can only assume that if you aren't using a 'credit' or paying for the book, then it goes away eventually? But could you just listen to it again from the library? Why do I need credits OR why do I need to purchase a book if I'm already an audible member? Don't I get to listen to ANY book? So confusing. Seems like the basic question, but apparently not. Because NO ONE addresses the elephant in the room. Please PLEASE help me???

With all AI advancements lately and considering how big Amazon is, you would think they could cut down production cost significantly. I will just wait. If not Audible, someone else will do it. They don't really have the competitor at the moment and thats the biggest problem.
If Spotify hasn't figured out how to do it with their experience doing so in the music industry, I don't see anyone crossing the finish line before Audible. The thing is, Amazon has nothing to do with the overall production cost of an audiobook. That's up to the author, narrator, engineer, production company, etc. but I don't think the production cost has to do with it as much as everyone says (myself included) when you consider the production costs of music, movies, and TV shows, which I'm sure are on average much MUCH higher. I will say that audiobooks are not NEARLY as popular as those forms of entertainment, so I wouldn't be surprised if demand plays a part but there's not much more I can say on the subject. It may be a fun video topic later on!

How do you back up your books when you get a new phone or mobile number? Are the books stored on your device? Thank you!
I believe they're backed up like an online cloud-like platform. In order for you to listen to an Audible book, it has to be in your library but it also has to be downloaded. To my understanding, if your phone is running out of space (depending on what kind of phone it is and how your settings are configured), it'll un-download them to give you more space for apps, files, etc. outside of the app but they WILL stay in your library so you can access them whenever.

Here is a question from a Boomer. I have Audible but would like to be able to organize the books by topic instead of seeing a long alphabetical list of all my books. Is this possible? Does Audible include ways to create folders? I see a COLLECTIONS tab and maybe this is what I am talking about. But it doesn't seem easy to see the Collections you've created. OK, maybe I am simply confused.
The closest feature Audible has to what you’re describing is collections. Audible is for anyone of any age - there’s a stereotype that the older someone is the less well-verses they are with technology and in my opinion, it doesn’t even matter whether that’s true or not because technology can be used by literally anyone who knows how to use it.

Can you do more quick cuts & edit chops on your videos, you talk for about 3 seconds as a normal person than quick edit, maybe you could take more adderall and chop it down 2 second bits, then edit again. Thanks.

hi there... I'm a bit confused. isnt audible like Netflix I pay and get to listen to ANY book that I want? cause I see people talking about buying books on there, what's the difference. I thought its a streaming service for books. and can I download and listen offline? will I still have access to my books if I cancel my subscription?

To my knowledge it depends on the book. In the last year I've paid attention to this regarding at least 5-10 books and generally, I've found the answer to be yes.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion! Personally I’ve never heard of Play Books.
unless you piss off amazon, then they delete all your books and nothing you can do about it.

Can you search Audible by your favorite Narrators instead of by Author? 😊
Yes, if you go to “Search” and look up the name of your favorite narrator, a list of their narrated books should come up! I just tried it with my own favorite.
Do the catalogs on both plus & premium have the same audiobook titles? Or does premium have a wider selection? Ty
Good question! Both memberships contain the same catalog, but the Premium selection is much vaster than just the Plus Catalog. The Premium selection includes the Plus Catalog and literally all other books. You do need to pay for them with credits, but with Premium Plus, you'll get at least one credit per month to use on any book no matter the price. They also have awesome perks, deals, and specials all throughout the year!
Its to bad you did not do enough research as to how difficult it has been to load and use new books as everything changed from simple to complex after Amazon bought AUDIBLE? It was very rare to have any problems what so ever from 2008 to the year AMAZON purchased audible? Now they have changed completely and I have too throw away my perfectly good Classic iPod's I have used for 15 years with only two batteries being changed and now I need to spend hundreds of dollars too buy something else as Amazon separated from Apple iTunes? Thanks Audible for giving me the best quality and Fair Exchange I have ever needed till Amazon took over?
I understand what you’re saying but I can’t speak for Amazon’s purchase of Audible. I threw out my iPod Classic maybe 7yrs ago and have had no problems with the price of anything Audible has done since I started using it at the time. I’ve had no problems with loading books and using their app either.
The free trial for $7.95/mo am I able to download and keep the book just like the premium plus plan?
I don’t think there is a trial for the $7.95/mo. I’m pretty sure it’s just the Audible Premium Plus trial, and before the trial is over, you can cancel the membership so they don’t charge you the $14.95, and afterwards you can restart your membership plan at $7.95/mo. That way, you get monthly access to Audible Plus, and you get to keep the book you got with the Premium Plus trial free of charge.
I'm only interested in just streaming selection monthly... don't need to own them forever
I understand. In case you’re not a member already, I’d suggest the Audible Plus option then - doesn’t sound like there’s a need for monthly credits!
Maybe silly question: how you access that $8 option to just listen to audible plus selection? On my app I only see the yearly subscription or the $15.99/month option…

@@SamuelEarth with anyplay you get unlimited audiobooks. It’s a reduce library but it does have a lot of books.
@@gam07d56 I appreciate the recommendation but I stand by Audible as a dedicated member and one reason for this of many is the vastness of their selection.
