Just i have alto the led lighting ambiance but not the same as you in the doors I don.t have the line up neato the window but all the rest of led well I didn’t know that was some difference in the led light places in the doors.
I like Distronic adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist when I drive on the highway.

Just got a 2019 b180 sport and will try the hold feature, never knew that...you have any tips for setting off smoothly with the autobox..mines a bit hesitant sometimes..thx

Hi Ivan! I'm from the UK. I'm actually going to pick up the new A-Class AMG A180 or A200 Saloon towards the end of this year, so this was a really useful video. I cant wait! I'm trading up (or down depending on personal preference) from a BMW 3 Series. Hopefully the Mercedes drives just as well or better 😊

There's another cool feature called tunnel mode. If your windows and sunroof are open, prior to entering a tunnel you can hold the re circulation button and it closes the windows and sunroof and vents... repeat to get the windows and sunroof to the original position (open)...

I'm very impressed with this video and the car features. All the features are really useful and saves me running through the menus. That Hold feature will ease anyone's mind who is used to using a handbrake. I love the premium plus features

How do you get the Augmented reality SAT NAV to work and activate to utilise the front camera and project the directions onto the footage ? I have a 69 180d a class and haven't discovered that one yet or the lane assist where it will change lanes whilst in cruise control for you. Any ideas? Maybe my model doesn't have those features

Just select P after you park the car that's the Parking mode with "hand brake"

That first feature is fantastic. Always worried about people scanning for my keyless entry frequency.
Have mine for almost a year now and I am very pleased with it so far. The ambient light in mine is missing the "flames" light that this guy has in his video but tbh I think it's better this way otherwise it would be too exhausting for my eyes.

Not in the steering wheel that I know off. However , you can control smartphone music tracks like Spotify songs by pressing the top middle of the touchpad in the middle of the car

Hi Ivan i didn't know about the camera thing when going forwards i'll try it tomorrow on my A200d AMG premium plus, loving it so far too and the lights are amazing. will check back if different for uk spec.
The camera is on up to some low speed like 20-30kmh(10-20mph) then it pops back in. Nice! What's your average consumption?
Ivan Sensei on a full week of commuting to work I’m getting from 64.5 to 68.5 mpg that’s filled to top then full week and fill again as computer is always a few miles out so real world figures and that’s not driving carefully all the time

Hey Ivan, thanks for posting these tips. I just got the new GLB 250 a week ago and am going to see if any of the GLA tricks work on GLB too. I also have a quick question on the driver's display. There is a "P" in a blue square box right next to the "hold" icon. I see it pop up and out on my car's screen too but I have no idea what it means and there is nothing in the manual about it. Would you happen to know what it is? Drives me crazy... lol. Thanks in advance!
I believe that's only telling you that scanning for parking spaces is available, if you drive faster P should dissapear.

Thanks. I didn't realize the door unlocked by just touching the handle. One tip for MB owners if you don't have apple car play you can buy a device for $60 and add car play which allows you to see your phone apps on screen and makes text messaging so easy.

It comes automatic with Multibeam LED lights. You can't activate/deactivate it

Thanks for the tips Ivan, I was wondering if you have the augmented realjty navigation with camera assist, at the dealer the sales person turned it on to display the front camera but I cannot manage to turn it on myself other than when using the navigation. Thanks, I don't have it myself, but I drove several new cars with it. I think it works with navigation only, or if you stand as first car near traffic lights, it will show you traffic lights so you can see when is green light on the display and don't need to tilt yourself. And congrats to your new car!

The trick about the lock feature , I have an a class and u can tap the handle twice instead of getting ur key out :)
for launch control on the a35 amg do you also have to disable esp? doesnt esp offer more grip and less slip? why would you disable it?
Late reply but when you disable ESP and you get wheel spin, the car doesn’t throttle down causing there to be less power. And let’s face it, having a little bit of wheel spin is fun!
Just in case anyone's still wondering, no you don't have to disable ESP on the A35 to launch. Just stick it in Sport+, left foot on brake, floor the accelerator, and release to launch.

If you get premium package then yes! Without it, no it doesn't have it. AMG line doesn't make difference for ambient lights, only premium package

Hi Ivan! First of all thanks for all the tips about the new Mercedes Benz, they were very useful for me before getting few days ago my new CLA 250 4matic AMG . I have a question for you. I have a premium package with parktronic ,fully drive assistance and all that stuff,I even got the navigation system on internal hard drive but I saw in many videos of the new mbux system with the augmented reality 3D with the actual front real cameras integrated in the navigation on screen but it seems I can't get it to show up or maybe I am missing some app or update? Hi, I think you need to activate route guidance (navigation from A to B), otherwise augmented reality won't start. And congrats, sweet car! 👍🏻

Only Multibeam LED do that. You have probably High Performance LED. Which can't do that at all. I had those in my first black A
about the multi beam light are you saying that this car can break its self on red robot and move itself when robot is green?
Multibeams cutout light from ongoing traffic. Self moving feature in traffic jam is called Distronic Plus. Not moving based on traffic light signals now, it's not fully autonomous just yet. But close to it!

Very interesting, didn't know that that non AMG models get a hidden launch control feature. I'm guessing it's for AMG Line (or AMG Sport package) cars... I bet the Avantgarde/Lux/standard models don't get it.

I drove many full tanks, depends how fast are you going and style of the driving.
Is it just me who has trouble liking Merc’s interior design and those rectangular screens across the dash?
I test drove the A class in feb this year and the interior was the reason I chose something from a competing brand. Safe to say it still hasn’t grown on me

Do you have full screen with CarPlay and iOS 13? In America it is limited to a smaller screen which is ridiculous .
We have in Europe same smaller screen as well. From my understanding when I investigate it's Apple's fault they haven't update it for some reason just yet for A Class...

There is no "better" color out there. Everyone likes something different. For me - I like more white, because you can see all the shapes better and it's easier to keep clean longer. Black is like a mirror, few hours after wash you can see the dust immediately while white looks cleaner for the longer period of time. Also during summer white car doesn't absorb as much heat as the black one.

Had to say i like the parking assist the most cause I'm suck with side parking lol. Also for muslim in navi there's option to check for qibla direction ( atleast Malaysia version ). Another thing I can't find option to turn off the ambient light ( on day it's pretty much useless and just eat up your battery faster ) so i just use voice command for it
