It's definitly come in handy, I've used it to seal up my house, and now then enture rest of the extended family is borrowing it. I found so many leaks.

For the same price you can get the Hti-Xinta HT-A2 which has a resolution of 320x240 instead of 256x192. It doesn't do video either. It does have a regular camera that you can superimpose with the thermal image at various levels for better clarity of what you are looking at. It would not work with a helmet mount and it doesn't have zoom.

I got the unit you mentioned.... The battery died after 3 hours at the first time and never charge again, quality is bad from this manufacturer

@@rskydyvhf3390 I had heard the same issues about battery life. This thing runs a good 15 hours on a charge, it's got a monster of a battery in it, from what I've seen that accounts for most of the size of it.
