This is how most projects go. Rarely as smoothly as we think, always overlook something simple, instructions leave out key steps.
So true. I'm man enough to show how it really goes. Once I do this once, if I were to do it again it would take a quarter the amount of time. But I think sharing the real process is where the magic is. That way anyone else that gets one won't have to repeat my mistakes.

Matt, when pouring any oil, try pouring with the bottle flat and the label pointing the sky. It creates a much steadier stream!

The circuitry looks legit in the control panel we use all that same stuff for pump overs at the winery magnetic controllers but we’re dealing with 680 to 480 V, You just got to get dialed in on it👌
dang this this goes high! Matt for this scissor lift unit by twin busch you will need compressed air for it to release the safety mechanism, we have the smaller twin busch scissor lift the mobile one which does not require compressed air but the downfall is that it only comes up to about chest height which is perfect for us since we are just doing PPF,Coatings, and Corrections this thing is a monster tho i kinda wish i would have got this one too for our shop for a stationary unit.

The directions are horrible. I ran into the same exact issues. Air supply and now hook up of height limit and lower
Another great real world video. Guess they’ll be updating their manual slightly. Maybe colour coding the lines might help too.
If possible, I would mount it with hydraulic lines in the back; basically rotate the whole thing 180 degrees. So you don’t trip when changing the oil. And allow room for transmission jack.
Matt I'm surprised that you are not using a 220 Volt unit.

On the German Twinbusch Website is written that you need compressed Air. 4-8bar (58-116psi)
I would say someone messed up at translating the Website!

The SP-7X was my original plan, but after seeing both, I like this one more. I think they are both made in China anyway.
Obsessed Garage I thought the Twin Busch lift was made in Germany. Is this unit actually made in China and just distributed by a German company? I was planning on buying this, but will re consider if it is Chinese
I'm looking for a interior brush head for my swirl killer mini, do I half to buy a certain back plate and brush attachment or just a brush attachment that screws in
I'm not sure about that one. I've never had to use one of those.
Does the swirl killer mini use a BP with a threaded post or does it 'through bolt' a la Rupes/Griot's boss? If it's just a pre-threaded post BP (like porter cable, megs MT300 etc) then go find a Cyclo white nylon brush attachment. Works great for carpets.
I might also suggest a drillbrush (available on amazon). A cordless drill is easier to maneuver inside the car than even a smaller polisher. And you don't drag the cord over the rockers and scratch them up.
Does the fluid bleeding process take care of the platforms not moving up in sync with each other? Otherwise you’ll be lifting your car with that gangsta lean! 😂

Have you measured how thick your floors are? I know the anchors that go in the ground have specific needs, Like your floor has to be so thick and flat to spread out the weight. Im sure your instructions say something about that, I have a friend who put in a scissor lift and his floor wasn't thick enough, so he had to pour a box of concrete into his floor and reinforced it with re barb. It wasn't cheep as the floor ended up costing around what the lift cost.
Very true. But scissor lifts are still less demanding when it comes to concrete specifications compared to e.g. 2-post lifts. You need to have really bad concerete to have issues with scissor lifts. One better (cheaper, faster) solution is just to put under the lift thick metal plate which redistributes weight to larger area.

Does the Lift get secured to the floor? If not, how do you keep it from sliding?

Hopefully you are aware that Twinbusch is far from "made in germany" it's generic chinese lift (price tells it all) branded with "german name". Regarding how many times word "awesome" was used in the video, I thought you took at least Werther, Nussbaum, Maha or similar :) This lift doesn't have realy synchronisation (electrical controled either with optical or rotation sensor) which can be tricky, so pay attention when raising/lowering as scissor lifts if they come unsynchronised can be really dangerous. Hopefully it will serve you well. At least tech support seems decent.

I don't understand the point of scissor lifts - yes, they raise the car. But when they are raised they take up so much room you can only traverse under a slim part of the center of the car. Utterly useless. They take up so much room under a vehicle that their intended purpose (working on the underside of a vehicle) is rendered borderline impossible. This is a cheap idea that doesn't really offer a decent solution of lifting a vehicle so that it can be worked on. Best of luck with it though - somehow I think in 6 months you'll be offering a different 'lifting' solution once you've worked through the difficulties of scissor lifts.
I think if you ever paid attention instead of trying to be "right", you would know his primary intention is not to work underneath his cars. Duh!

is just the pole is lower, you can still lift the car pretty high
