- This Tiger oak furniture set shocked everyone when I said I was going to paint it, do the results meet expectations? These heritage pieces have been in the same hands for decades and they've entrusted me to give the set a completely new look, inspired by the owners love of fabric art and modern decor. Let's face it, in a small room, dated oak can be dark and over whelming. All of those details were lost in the bust grain. We will use a layered and textured paint finish to create the look of linen with hints of metallic, a whitewashed top, and brand new hardware!

The BED!!! Wow!! Stunning Canvas texture! I just posted a piece I finished about three weeks ago, and did some crosshatching on the two sides to highlight the beautiful Wisteria color I used along with several others to highlight it! This Tigerwood is so gorgeous; amazing piece to finish, and amazing finishes on both pieces!! ❤️
This transformation was extremely hard for me to watch. BUT if this is what the client wants… you did an amazing job. If she ever wants to return it back to its original state… I’m glad that you finished it in such a way that it would be very easy to restore. AND you are MASTER of the crosshatch technique! How would you apply the clear coat if you do not have a sprayer? Just brush over everything? Beautiful piece. You made this look relatively easy, this could be a full class.
