i just made it but whipped up double the amount of thickened cream (as we call it down under), you recommended & worked it in slowly. just as well because i tasted it before & it felt a little heavy. it tastes lighter. I granulated a handful of macadamia nuts, toasted it till golden & put it in the crust.i can't wait to taste it tomorrow. thank you for the video

I've been using your previous no bake cheesecake recipe for at least a year. All summer long, I used that recipe with oreos, biscoff, strawberries, and several others....my friends truly loved them! I was able to share the recipes, always including the link to your video so that they could watch it. Thanks for sharing these videos! It's incredibly easy to make. I found a big, flat cake lifter from Lakeland which is the same thickness as the cake decorating spatula. You just slide it carefully under the cake and lift the entire cake, sliding it neatly to the cake stand with no cracking. 👌
@@sohankowshik9652 I never did remove the cream, and it made it easier to make a crust with the crushed oreos....it gave the cookies the ability to stick together more, and it added some sweetness to offset the tang of the cheesecake. I got quite a few requests for that cake.
I made a recipe very much like this many many many years ago it was horrible way too much cream cheese. I now substitute some ricotta cheese for the cream cheese and put in lots of freshly squeezed lemon. Delicious! ❤
@@MrsBerry35 I know I use cream cheese ricotta sour cream a few tablespoons of white flour sugar freshly squeezed lemon. If you find a recipe on the Internet that has cream cheese plus sour cream I would say it’s a good recipe. The original one that I had a decades ago had five packages of cream cheese the recipe was on the package of Land O Lakes butter it was terrible. Best of luck to you. I would also be willing to try a no bake cheesecake with a gram cracker crust. That sounds delicious to me also.

Delicious! I use two small 5” springform pans which enables me to give one to a friend or to make two completely different cheesecakes, depending on what type of fruit, toppings, mix-ins I use. Who wants to put the oven on when it’s 99.9F outside? 😊

I have some large silicon muffin cases that I plan to brush with chocolate then fill with cheesecake probably Gingernut biscuit base and lemon cheesecake. Hopefully will get dessert sized cheesecakes in chocolate cups. This recipe could easily be adapted. Thank you

Ok I made this according to instruction. For me and mine this recipe needed at least one more cup of powdered sugar maybe 2 a total of 3 just not sweet however it’s smooth creamy and stiff and elegant. Next time I’ll add more sugar 😊🥰

I made a cheesecake once, a little water DID leak into the bottom of the pan (it was also the first time I tried using a water bath), but it wasn't completely ruined (just discolored) - so the moral of the story is even leaky cheesecakey isn't the end of the world!

And for an extra tasty crust, bake it until it smells nice and toasty. Yeah, that lengthens the time before you can actually use it but it’s worth it. I also think it gives the crust a little more stability but I could be wrong. I haven’t tested that.

I have noticed that substituting the graham crackers does take some finessing; you can't always add the same amount of butter to other cookies that you would to graham crackers. Some cookies have more butter and the mixture ends up being oily and the fat spills out. Just saying. Thanks for another recipe! Merry Christmas and God bless.

Made It Yesterday but I subbed bergamot juice for lemon juice and used bergamot zest and whizz whizz wizzed it with the sugar 🔝

If you want to use the Oreos... separate the cream from the cookies.

I made a no bake last week. Easier recipe and used granulated sugar. No grittyness what so ever. This looks amazing too.
