My mom had cataract surgery scheduled, then started taking quercitin for the scamdemic and found her eyesight improved so she cancelled her surgery. That wasn't the only thing she started taking, so I wondered what caused it. Now I think I know.
Thank you!
What else did she start taking around that time?
How much a day Thanks
my dog is about 15 and eyes seems good thankfully. I feed him some of my steamed kale (high in quercetin) several times a week. Also some salmon (about a couple of tablespoon as far as volume) 3 or 4 times a week. The fats in salmon are excellent for eye health.
Wow! That’s incredible👍🙏❤️
I was struggling with glaucoma in my little chihuahua, constantly taking him for refills and 3 month eye exams to the tune of $160 each visit. Your channel has been a God send for better alternatives.
I ordered 1000mg quercetin capsules for my dogs what would dosage be ? They are 60 pounds
@@kimvanhorn6422 I think he said 100mg per every 10 pounds of body weight so that would be 600 mg for 60 pounds. BUT if you get the fast absorbing bioactive quercetin then the dosage is different. He states the dosage near end of his video.
A story about my rescue cat. From the day I got her she was never overly friendly and had this huge grooming issue going on with lots of dandruff I started her on omega didn’t do much. One day she was on my island going crazy with the chewing and scratching got to close to the edge and fell off landing on her back I attempted to help her get up right but she tried to bite me after that she took to hiding only coming out to eat and do her business. I heard that Quercetin had anti inflammatory and anti histamines properties so I started putting it in her moist food. What a difference she is social and comes sits on my lap and wants to be rubbed before you couldn’t do that without her trying to bite and all her fur she pulled out is now all filled in and it is due to the Quercetin as nothing else has changed
I absolutely love Dr. Jones! If he had a practice in the U.S., I'd be in his waiting room for sure, me & my cats!
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY ONE YEAR OLD PUPPY SHE CAME WITH HER EYES LIKE THAT AT 7 WEEKS OLD AFTER TWO DOESES OF ANTIBIOTICS THEY ARE EVEN WORSE. THANK YOU I WILL GET IT ASAP GOD BLESS
I appreciate your videos so much. My boys are getting older and I really appreciate a more natural approach to help support their little bodies. Thank you.
Welcome!
Quercetin has been a lifesaver for myself and my children. Good to know I can give it to my doggers if need be!
I used to give Quercetin for my dogs with allergies. I do have a dog with glaucoma so I ordered some Quercetin online.
How did your dogs' allergies respond to quercetin? My Shih tzu is on 3 allergy meds per day and a monthly injection. I'm praying quercetin helps rid him of allergies.
Thank you Dr. Jones!!!
Brilliant. Thank you so much Dr jones
Thanks for the information
Good to know, thank you.
glad you showed this,,,,never knew about this,, thank you,
More good info.Thanks again.
Thank you Dr. Jones❗🙏🤗🐶
Thanks a lot for showing products its really helpful 😊😊😊
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Grazie Dottor Jones, sei fantastico!!!
I can't believe how expensive Quercetin has gotten. The New Roots in this video runs around $35 and the EMIQ runs $22. It really works too but the expense if you're using it for a couple dogs is outrageous :(
Amazing Information S Always Dr.!! Thank You!! God Bless You and Yours!!🐕🦺🦮🐕🐈🐇
Thanks Dr. Jones....please update us on Tulla. :)
Thank you dr jones will have to look in to this
Thanks Lorraine
Ty, doc!
Dr. Jones, thank you again for such informative video! Is there any concerns with kidney damage taking Quercetin long-term? Thank you for any insights you can share with me!
You are amazing. Thank you.
Wow, thank you!
Interesting! I’ve been taking Quercetin for my own allergies and sinus issues for several years. I’ve wondered about giving it to my kitties, one who has allergies and the other who is aging and I thought it may just help her age better. Do you have any recommendations for dosing in kitties?
I use this and give it too my dog for fatty tumors. I am glad I saw this
❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much!
A product called Can C was invented by a doctor in Europe specifically for cataracts. I used it on my older dog and he could see us again ! It’s a natural remedy. You’ll be amazed. It’s available in Canada
Is this drops or capsules? I want to get some for my dog
@@eyeswideopen8570 They’re drops for their eyes. You have to keep refrigerated. My dog would go to the fridge and ask for me to put them in his eyes. 🥰
@@animallover4101 Thank you for your reply! I just ordered some for my 16 yr old chihuahua who has cataracts in both eyes. Can't wait to try it. I'm also going to start her on the quercitin, I sure hope she can see better soon.

Thanks Dr
My 10 year old pup was born with cataracts in both eyes. Now they're mature and she is blind. It's heartbreaking. Now she gets dry eye and we will be trying this supplement as soon as it arrives. Thank you Dr. Jones.
I highly recommend you try some 'Can C' eye drops..this eye drop is for both human and pet use..look up the results/research on it...It WORKS! Not 'overnight'.but it works wonders within as little as a couple of weeks... The can C is a great lubricating drop as well as the way it nourishes the cells of the eyes. ' 🤗🤗🤗🤗
@@FullTilt444 I tried them for 6 months, realizing that cataracts are an inflammatory condition and could take a long time to improve. During the treatment period I observed no changes in her cataracts or vision. It's too bad. I believe it's a good product. It just didn't work for us. Thanks for your comment and suggestion.
Can c did not work for my westie
@@maryleeq2015 Ho w long did you use it for? It is not an 'overnight' success. It can take 2 months or more....but I am not questioning you. It's often better to use it to PREVENT rather than try to un-do..but it will un-do. It just takes time. I used it in conjunction with colloidal silver..kept my fur babies eyes clear and bright. no more eye infections.no more gunk. it was amazing! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hi Dr Jones. What do you recommend for retina ulcer? Quercia in will work ? Thanks for sharing such a good natural remedies.
My dog had a same but in a few years, it has naturally disappeared. (I washed his eyes with eye bright eye drop and he was taking lots of natural medicines so may be that might helped it.) And my dog had a conjunctive virus n she suddenly started producing discharge from both eyes and at the same time, she had hematoma. She started taking prescribed Chinesse herbal medicine for hematona and.. It's disappeared.
Grazie!!! ❤
Hi! I love all you’re videos, I actually found your channel when I was desperate to find help for my Great Dane tiny, and the vet was absolutely not helpful whatsoever but I digress. I was wondering if you could do a video about swollen salivary glands? Today I noticed my other dog had particularly “loose skin” directly under his jaw, after looking at pictures and videos the last week he has had this “loose skin (swollen skin)” Monday, Not Tuesday, Not Wednesday, Not Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He doesn’t seem to be in any pain, he acts completely himself, but for some reason I just noticed it today. He’s a pit bull/bull dog mix, maybe it’s something his breed deals with? I don’t know, any advice would be appreciated ❤️
I purchased this product for my dog along with some other natural remedies to help clear my dogs eyes.
My dog weight 8 lbs how much should he gets, and if it's a capsule how should I give it to him
MSM eye drops and organic cold pressed hexane free castor oil is also great for their eyes. Great for our eyes too!
Been using that kind of castor oil for 3 years at night. Got rid of some floaters.
So, how many drops do use castor oil
@@sherriberkley188 I just put in one or two drops at night in my eyes and then lightly massage the oil on my eyelids and below the eyes. Can do the same for dogs. It works good but have to do it everyday.
how much do you use without giving your dog pancreatitis?
@@grlnexdoorable ua-cam.com/video/Ucv5IZrnKwc/v-deo.html
Great tips. A big no on onions for dogs so know where the question is sourced.
Dr. Jones, do you have anything on pancreatitis?
I’ll be really interested to see how Tula goes on it. Honey has dry eye... this week.. to ad to her ailments. I’ll start this also. Thanks again our hero vet Dr Jones❤️👍
You're welcome and she's been doing good with it:)
@VeterinarySecrets is there an updated video on the results it had on Tulas cataracts?
Gee, I wish I had this info earlier…. My 12 y o dog has glaucoma and was prescribed Gabapentin …. Will get Quercitin aSAP… thank you
Do you think it would work for pigmentary keratitis?
Hi Dr Jones.. is Quercetin safe in renal dogs? 💓
I loved this! Very useful! 👍👌
Also, the down the hatch! 😂
Thank you so much Dr.Jones!
The allergy Med doesn’t help & I really want to try this & I see this in 50 milligram capsules,so for a 10 pound dog it would be 2 capsules 2 times a day? I got lost on the milligrams per size.
Adding to our ARSENAL for allergies, Hoping to eleviate the Claratin,it's getting expensive
thanks so much for your natural remedies!!!♥ I would like to ask, my cousin's 17 yr old cat has a large growth on her lip. Poor girl! the vet of course wants to do surgery & radiation which is both costly & risky!! Is there soemthing that you can offer that might help reduce the size or help in any way??? Thanks so much for any suggestions that you might have!♥
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos!
My dog Horus (50 pound pit) has been on apoquel 16mg going on 3 years. If he is not administered a pill within 24 hours, he start itching uncontrollably. It’s really bad. According to the vet, he has season allergies. Not sure if I believe this, since he itches all year round. I’d like to take him off the medication and put him quercetin. Should I wean him off of apoquel?
Dr. Jones, is it safe to give Fisetin to cats or dogs?
NAC eye drops?
Hi…I would really like to know if I can give qurecitin with pain killer and anti inflamitory
Hi Dr. Jones.
I am new to your channel. Do you specialize in Naturopathic Veterinary Medicine? I have a 4yr old Great Pyraneese. He's about 110lbs.
I noticed the redness around his eyes. He's on a Grain Free diet.
Do you recommend adding the following fruits and veggies that are high in Quercetin and are safe to give to dogs (blueberries, cranberries, kale, raw spinach, ripe elderberries, broccoli, raspberries, apples, and sweet potatoes)?
I had also read that you need to add bromelain/pineapple.
Some sources don't specify how much to feed, but in your Homemade Dog Food Recipe you mentioned 1 cup of veggies, 1 cup of meat, 1-2 eggs with ground up eggshell, 1cup brown rice, 1tsp flaxseed, and 2 tbsp sunflower oil mixed and then serve half twice a day. You said to feed 1 1/2 - 2 cups/
20lbs of body weight daily. But that would mean 10 cups of food/ day for my dog. Great Pyraneese tend to have to deal with bloat so I can't free feed him. Do you recommend that I search for a Holistic vet that specializes in Naturopathy so that I can find someone that will recommend natural food sources and supplements rather than a traditional vet?

After watching this video we started giving our dog Quercetin for his eyes and noticed a marked difference the very next day. It is working wonders for him but I just want to know if it's considered safe for him to use long term?
Does it matter if it’s taken with or without food?
Does this work in the same way as co enzyme 10 (q10) ?

My west age 17 has falling vision and I treat the discharge with the mold green tea. It helps but I cant alleviate it for more than a day or two, then the discharge comes back, I keep it as clean as possible
My dog weighs 15 lb and I got the Natural Factors Bioactive Quercetin EMIQ. I know I'm supposed to give her 15mg a day but the capsules come in 50mg. Will it be bad if I give my dog one of these capsules a day ?
Do you think I can give quercetin bromelain for my dog during an intensive itching ? How much? We can’t sleep at night
Thank you i just ordered this i pray that it works she has had red eyes and discharge sense she was 7 weeks old today she is a year old.
I hope it works great for her:)
Looks like YT removed my question, so here it is, again: How long is it safe to give Quercetin? I have dogs with eye problems, allergies, and other issues that are solved by giving them Quercetin. We have ALL been taking it for over a year and don't see any ill effects. I have been told that it could leach out other minerals?
I have been giving my girl quercetin for a while, for allergies and i am not seeing much improvement. She is intolerant to a lot of plants and foods. Could she be intolerant to quercetin since it may be made from some of that? Or would it not be possible as long as the ingredients are just quercetin?
Also, would you do me the favor of giving some tips on how to help with chronic lower airway disease? I would appreciate it vastly
Where can you get this
look it up online.you can buy it pretty much anywhere that sells vitamins.....
What’s the dosage for dog under 10 lbs and a dog that is 10 lbs?
Hi my dog has a lump on her eye in the back corner on the pink skin & the vet wants to remove it 🙈 but she is an 11yr old English mastiff & I’m worried about putting her under, could this help
So now that the topic of eyes has come up is there anything I can do for entropion?
My sharpei is now three he recently got a eye infection that I've been treating with antibiotics and the vet diagnosed him withentropion. But I'm wondering if surgery is something to consider if he gets repeat infections.
As I was reading about the condition it can get worse so why my vet said to not worry about it to just leave it is beyond me.
Is it not worth it doing surgery while my dog is still young?
I can't tell you how many times my vet said that to me thru my fur babies younger years..... you know what that leads to when they get older?????? I'd go to another vet for a second opinion if i were you....
Tula is 20 lbs. and she takes the one capsule of 50mg . How do you give them less the 50 mg for an 8lb dog? would we have to open the capsule to scoop some out??
I've tried to ask this question on your website but for some reason it won't let me.
My dog appears to have a epulis cist on his gum. It's about the size of a pea, pink in color. It's slightly hard (not too hard but not soft either). I've tried multiple sites with multiple search engines and all I get is "surgery surgery surgery" . My question is - is there any home remedies or even something I could purchase to get rid of it.
Thank you very much.
I think you should take him to the vet first, just to be 100% certain it’s not something serious. (That’s actually the answer for just about everything... see a vet first.) Then you & the vet can decide if a home remedy would be useful. Good luck!
I went down the the description to open the link for the book but it said there was an error and I couldn't get it.. could someone explain?

Good point:)
What about cats usage
so doctor maybe I'm not getting the message right but can't you take the cataract off of her eye I know it's probably very touchy and it's probably expensive too for most people to do it I would think please reply on this... and did you say corseton might be good for cats too.. and the title of this video it said for dogs. please reply on this too because I mostly have cats.. I apologize if the spelling is not right I am speaking into the microphone and it is not spelling all the words correctly
Will quercitin help cats eyes?? or anything else in a cat like their respiratory system or???
So querticin instead of restasis cyclosporine@ 500 a pop, have no idea if we're allergic to it so
Yeah, querticin ASAP! Thanks again
MYOB MYOB Had to reply to your comment! the vets had me buying that restasis/cyclosporin for my canine fur child for YEARS! Telling me that my fur baby had chronic dry eye. Well..all Restasis does is cause a burning sensation which is supposed to compel the eyes to produce tears. Well, if you or your fur baby do not produce many tears in the first place...all you are doing is adding insult to injury. Like getting soap in your eyes and not being able to wash it out. Really? $500 a pop for the restasis???????? STOP wasting your money on that. my own human eye doctor told me he has NEVER ONCE seen Restasis work on anyone..... I tried so many different 'eye drops' on my fur baby.. after about 5 years of almost every other month refill at $63 a pop for these cyclosporin drops which accomplished 'nothing' but a game of 'hide and seek' when my fur baby saw m grab that little bottle. Talk about 'guilt'. I'd still find myself going into the vet office to get my baby treated for eye infections with prescribed steroid drops. vet would speak to me as if I wasn;t using the cyclosporin as I should. Insulting. ...because YES I WAS! 'As if' i enjoy this constant hamster wheel I'm on with my fur baby's eyes...I just LOVE spending hundreds of dollars at the vet every year....with no results. Yep. That is what we all live for, right. I have the answer to your issue...well...your fur babies issue. One that will actually resolve the matter. So you can stop wasting your money and stop having your heart broken as yu watch your fur baby struggle this way. 'CAN C' . You can purchase it off if 'Amazon. It comes in packs of 2 for like $40. Research tis eye drop. (for real) It is amazing stuff! My fur babies eyes are CLEAR now... no more redness...no more pinkish tint...no more eye infections. His eyes are bright and shiny.... and he doesn't run away from me when I come near him with the bottle. I'd go ahead and still administer the quercitin.....just because of its numerous benefits...but as far as the eyes. BUY 'CAN C...you will LOVE IT and be SO GLAD you did! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 It also works for humans.....it reversed my astigmatism....no more 'halo's around lights at night!
@@FullTilt444 Pretty much what we told the pharmacist, adding "They're High" about the cost
My dog started taking over a year ago when he first got a cataract, six months later he had cataract in the other eye, six months after that he went completely blind. Quercetin did nothing for him. And yes, he is from the beginning seeing an eye specialist which is a three hour drive each way. So called specialist did nothing for his eyes either. Told me in the very first visit , "the good news is he won't go blind".
Where do you buy it?
online..or off the retail shelf.it's everywhere.....
Health food store or vitamin shop
Why does Tula have eye problems if you have the cure?
You know, things just sometimes randomly develop in animals as they age and you need to weigh the risks/benefits of medications &/or surgery. If it’s not a life-threatening thing (like her issues), might as well try the natural route first if the risk is low (like with Quercetin).
I have a new-to-me rescue with dry eye who needs eye gel twice a day until forever, but since it’s low risk & relatively low cost, I’m starting her on Quercetin tomorrow. Could help, can’t hurt.
Not sure he said anything about this being a cure
Has anyone tried colloidal silver drops in their dog's eyes for cataracts? I've read that it makes them disappear.
I had a cat who had a bad respiratory virus that left him with a cloudy spot in one eye. A year later the cloudy spot was still there. I began putting colloidal silver in that eye & the cloudy spot disappeared.
@@almaburns6562 That's awesome! Thank you for reply.

Does this help with staph infection in dogs? Is there any thing to kill staph in the eye? My dog had a all over body resistant Staph affection that was treated by antibiotics but not fully cleared up. Where can i buy the quercertin? What is the dog is 12 lbs?
Whole foods sells it.

my dog keeps getting ear leakage in one ear . he is 8 and has done this most of his life. no vet seems to have a definitive answer for this problem. he has been treated for ear infections and allergies. nothing seems to work ...any ideas ?
Some dogs are allergic to corn and corn meals you find as fillers in some “ less expensive “ foods . Check you food you give him
Quercetin is very helpful for allergies.
Can you comment on tick fever. I live in Panama and we have lost many dogs to this. My dog is currently being treated using KiroXillina, but it’s been many months and she is still infected.
That sucks. Sorry for your losses. Keep asking
Will it help for dry eye in dogs? My vet is not very good.
Yes
How do I get some?
I moved down to California, from Washington st. My dog now has seasonal allergies. Her eyes have just been diagnosed with dry eye. I really want to get some of this.
I was taught ker-see-tin
I've read that in humans, you need to also consume black pepper to achieve the full benefits. Anything useful to give a canine to enhance effectiveness?
You might be thinking of curcumin (the stuff in turmeric, also an anti inflammatory)
Great, but what is the dosage? I really wish Dr Jones would mention cats more often
Near end of video he gives dosage. I think for regular quercetin dosage is 100mg for every 10 pounds body weight once or twice per day. For bioactive quercetin dosage is 10 mg for every 10 pounds of body weight once or twice per day.
I don't think he mentioned cats. Sorry.
Good luck
Your comment made me laugh. I was thinking the same thing halfway through the video then I Googled the answer. I love Google.
I love your content, but I wonder why your animals are 100 percent healthy.
Why haven't you given her surgery for her eyes?
Is she cured with the new pills?
Great but how do you get it when the local veterinarian cartel has a corner on dispensing so they can charge me 100$ for office visit and 2$ worth of quercetin if it’s scripted. I’d give all my rabies and other meds but the vets have it sewed up…it’s easier to get cocaine than prescription meds for my dog but I get things like ketamine and trazadone but really,,, how many junkies want rabies, distemper etc to fire up in the old home opium den
Quercetin is OTC. ...if your fur baby has eye issues.I STRONGLY recommend 'CAN C'.used consistently it eliminates cataracts in both humans and pets! ...it also lubricates without stinging! My canine furbaby doesn;t run away and hide when he sees me grab the bottle....unlike the stuff the vet had previously prescribed. It FEELS GOOD in the eye. Research it! I'm surprised Dr Andrew has not been using this product on little Tula. I hope he sees this, gets some, uses it on little Tula and tracks the progress for all to see!! Cuz it is AMAZING what this stuff can do! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗 I speak from my own personal experience. It seemed to good to be true.... I know. But WOW...what a freaking awesome surprise that it actually WORKS! I don't make recommendations very often.but ..THIS is a product I swear by just based upon personal results for both me and my fur baby. I sought answers for his eye issues for 8 freaking YEARS! I ,personally, have not found many 'honest' vets in my lifetime....and I've been on earth for 50plus years..... they give the ones that are actually good....a bad name. the bad ones have us lose faith in the entire system. the problem being.there is little accountability for the ones just after the money. If they know you got it...or even if they know you don't ..no mater. What really irks me is that you don;t vene know what anything costs until you get to the counter to pay the bill. Imagine if mechanics shops operated in that manner! 🤣
You can buy Quercetin on Amazon.
Did you even check? It’s just a supplement. Buy it OTC almost anywhere.
Thanks didn’t know just assumed most vet endorsed stuff is a money maker prescription
@@drachenfeuer5042 Not with Dr Andrew! this guy is 100% LEGIT! you can research him and find out/learn 'why' he does what he does. He FOUGHT the system!!!!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
