Request noted... ☺️
Thank you so much ma. Always making it so easy. Pls is the thickness of the chinchin dough after rolling same as meat pie dough after rolling? Pls how do we get sure its quarter inch after rolling?
i will say the thickness is about same for the chinc hin. but here is the deal the thickness is subjective . i just like mine not too thick escepially when I use baking powder because it will rise a little bit from the leavening effect from baking powder. if you really really want to be professional hahaha you will just have to use a measuring ruler. Though, my rolling pin has adjustable rings to ensure my height during rolling. you can invest in that if you want to be super precise.
@@Veeluvstocook see kitchen materials o. Thank you so much ma. You are right on the baking powder. It made mine rise too much yesterday
To make the coconut flavour intense, you can add store bought coconut powder flavour in sachets
thanks Vernon... i thought about that as well... even thought about blending coconut flakes into powder to intensify it. i also thought i will try using the real deal itself. break the nut and extract myself. thanks for your suggesting i wil try them all.
@@Veeluvstocook the real deal won't also come out except you use those very brown bodied Hausa coconuts. I dont think you can get it over there
Vernon Monyep arti vp, great tip...
Hi Veel, hope you’re doing great? Did I miss out or you haven’t uploaded yet? There was a video you had to show us after the coconut chin chin, I have been looking forward to it but not seen it, let me know if I have missed it, or it’s still on the way, thanks
Hey dear... you are correct. I have been missing in action. Working with my toddler during this virtual meeting
Veeluvstocook_ courage dear, I can imagine but keep going and trusting God for the better
About this foaming, I think this oil doesn't foam at first use. Its when you continue using that it foams. I heard egg and butter also make it foams.
the egg just like baking powder is a potential culprit. another thing that causes it to foam is if you are reusing oil multiple times... but like I said it is not a problem to me . as long as the pan is deep you are good to go..
@@Veeluvstocook you are definitely right ma. I use deep pot or frying pan now
Vernon Monyep arti vp, great
Miss Vee is making me gain weight!
mission accomplisehed Mikey
@@Veeluvstocook Yes Maam
Michael Huey hahahahaha
This long shape will make my chinchin finish fast
you are definitely right. it is my son's favorite shape though hahahah
Pls what is the name of that stuff you used to ensure equal square shapes cos mine is always bent lines
you were the one I added that tip for hahahaha... i remember you mentioned that in the previous chin chin video hahahaha. it is just a wire rack i use after baking bread or other baked goods to cool...
@@Veeluvstocook okay I see. I think I have it
@@Veeluvstocook sense will not kill you ma. The reason I dont miss your videos and I have that rack o. Thank you so much ma
Vernon Monyep arti vp, you are far too kind with your words . I always have you in Mind when making my videos because I know you will watch it... that is always mission accomplished even if it is only Vernon that watches the video😉
