Tip for Interlocking Crochet after a Long Unlocked Section

My number one for interlocking crochet is to count, count, count. But there are also a few ways we can skip counting EVERYTHING by making sure things are fully lined up and only counting ONE layer.
In this video I was already sure I had completed the proper number of front stitches but I needed to make sure I placed the next stitch (a back stitch) through the proper window.
