I made a deck in my backyard using wooden pallets as the foundation this is my first time building anything, my motto is if you don't try you'll never know what you can do.
Hey all I use was cinder blocks so that the pallets wouldn't be on the ground, I got the pallets for free you can probably find them for free in your area on Facebook market, I got pressure treated wood from home depot, 10 ft and 8 ft, the paint is from Walmart the grab and go barn and fence paint. 3 inch deck screws from home depot. Also a Sawzall & battery operated screwdriver, I really didn't know what I was doing but I'm glad it came out nicely.

This mindset bothers me. She can have a hobby separate from her husband and that doesn't make him any less good of a husband for not helping her. It also implies that she needs his help but it didn't look like that to me. I have gotten comments like this before while building things outside and it's insulting to both the wife and husband even if the person means well. What you might not see is my husband inside cooking dinner for both of us while I do my hobby. Props to her for the great end result!
