Thank you Mr. Timestamp Man
A tip : watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
Not a single cell phone, I miss this.
We knew we wanted it, but did we realize just how much we needed it.
I miss the early 2000's for shows, they were so much fun.
You and me both man
@@GarbageKID0 shows were honestly a lot more fun and people weren't about trying to be cool or tough
Yes, whether they were bigger bands like this or smaller vfws or basements. As sad as it might be to say, emo allowed everyone to sort of let their guard down and have fun.
@@thevirtualjonathan1284 that's the truth. I miss all the small venues and basement shows. Up close and personal, everyone was welcomed no matter the genre or how you dressed. Now it's like a fashion show, who you know and how you act
@@mikecollins9569 depends on the scene and whose basement/venue.
I've been gone for a while due to a prison stint but when I left I was going to shows in providence and the olneyville scene was extremely welcoming to anyone and everyone (except of course for nazis, who were kicked out in the 90s and haven't been welcome since).
Tons of regular people from the burbs mixed with hardcore and metal kids mixed with weirdo art students/grads/dropouts, and old time veterans like the dropdead dudes and Scott rebar (work/death).
Worcester I guess had a sxe hardcore resurgence about ten years ago, I saw all these kids middle and high school age with xxx on their shirts, I asked and I was told there were a bunch of new straight edge hardcore bands popping up.
I was too old by then for that type of scene (I remember ten yard fight and in my eyes and have heart of course) but was grinning ear to ear when I heard this.
Anyway, if it doesn't exist you know what they say.
Do it yourself. Once this virus passes, make a space or commandeer one and book your own shows.
I've done that before too (it can be a pain but can be worth it too).
I'm hoping hate5six has some orchid footage tucked away for a rainy day. Those guys were so good live.
Thursday and at the driven are easily the two best post hardcore bands ever!
And Glassjaw, the three best bands
They toured with Deftones and Thrice the following year
Hands down one of the best emo bands ever
Saw these guys with bane and converge as openers at the palladium upstairs.
The singer passed out (as he was wont to do at this stage in their career).
The mix of hardcore kids, scenesters and emo kids was interesting.
All the bands that played absolutely killed that night.
Edit: I don't recall if collapse had been released yet but they were playing these songs.
I gotta also say that's it's so awesome to hear them play songs off Waiting.
34:42 'tim's mom's not in jail, just so you guys know. not in jail anymore."
I got so pumped when I saw this upload. Thursday never gets enough credit
God damn. The power shows had before the smartphone. .
If I’m not mistaken this may have been on tour with saves the day
I love this wave I'm so glad you have these recordings anything else you post in this vein gets an automatic live and a hundred plays from me
Wow!!!!

Aaaaakkkkkk always in love with the band and their stage act 😍😍
Wish they would have played Jet Black new year
Too early for that one.

WRITE THESE WORDS BACK DOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWN!!!
This band is pretty good
Show happened almost exactly three months before I was born too
@@xnosmokenoknivesx omg I feel old now...
@@xnosmokenoknivesx it happened on my 3rd birthday
Is it okay to like this and magnitude🤣
xxx
if you watch Magnitude’s drum cam from last year’s This is Hardcore, you’ll see that he’s wearing a Thursday shirt. so yes, I’m sure it’s fine.
Bands like this are always so good until the vocalist opens their mouth
Aight Andy Anderson
Comment sections like this are so good until some asshole makes a stupid remark
Comments sections are so nice til some cunt makes an unnecessary comment.
