Have a more realistic area on half and a more fantasy area on the other half but have Disney world be in the middle and lead into the more fantasy area
Make a landing(riser) like the one on the end, only a little bigger- cover it in buurps to make in look it more mountainous. Train can go thru mountain, would look cool. The mountain can be higher up, and have some snow up on the top...maybe if you wanted a holiday scene, build it up behind the fair area? Just a thought...
Hey Emily!! I Am loving the city so far. Looks sooooo awesome!! I was thinking were you put the 90th Anniversary Castle you could put a waterfall cascading down the mountain have it lead to behind the city to give the illusion that it could be the ''fresh spring'' you were talking about. I also think behid those 2 spots were the modulars are, you should put a farmer's market area behind one area and maybe save the other place for the 2023 modular. Hope you like my ideas!!! Have an awesome day!! :D
don't underestimate the potential use of negative space, parking lots, alleyways, etc can add a lot to a city instead of having modulars crammed together everywhere.
for the square behind the fire station, maybe a small park with a gazebo and birds with old ladies and pets section (someone needs to have a wild pet like a dino :) ) or maybe a pool with people relaxing especially the firefighters or if you want to go wild have a fireman training ground with a small "burning house" that they are putting out or at least trying (one of the firefighters is for sure flying around with the hose out of control). Y'all do great water work so that would be a lot of fun. for Disney world maybe having sections like how the irl parks do it. have a section that is mario world, carnival world, then traditional Disney.
I love where the city is going! When you said the train wouldn’t go under ‘ground zero’ it got me thinking it would be cool to put a subway station on ground zero that the train could drive up to so that it doesn’t have to go under ground zero! Love how it’s looking, you keep inspiring me to design my own city!
Hahaha I commented this half way through the video and it sounds like you had the same idea with the Disney train, that sounds like it would look great!
5:44 "These Ikea tables bow in the middle" Pretty if a table were to bow in the middle, it's pronounced like the *bow* in *"bow* and arrow" and not like the _bow_ in _"bow_ before the audience."
An idea for your grey wall is you make it have insets like 12 wide and 16 bricks high that you can put mosaics in. Like the size of the small lego art things that came out. You can change them out very easily and maybe make a contest out of it for viewers. Just an idea. Love your videos.
also, I noticed the plank with the palace cinema is bending like crazy in the middle, you may need either more supports, or some horizontal member to prevent flexing
If you want a really wild idea: rather than grouping the tables into the center of the room, maybe think about going one table deep all the way around the room (or maybe just 3/4)? You'd have a nice distance to run a train or two, and enough space to have a more natural transition between "neighborhoods". Just a thought.
Maybe your train can come out of a tunnel under the tallest section and onto a bridge that hangs over the edge until it gets around the lower area. If you build a wall it could help to keep it stable, and you can get really creative with bridge design
Awesome... I found the Majestic Tiger & Obi vs Vader at Sam's Club for $40 each. Along with a Harry Potter set too. The Friends Recycle Truck & a 3in1 for $17.
cut some 2by4's into blocks and remount your adjustable legs to it on the low platform it will give you the clearance for a train, also you are bowing on that platform so add one or two legs to the middle of that board.
You could totally build the townhouse on your own using your own parts I did that! I made it with what I had available and I love it. If you have enough spare parts - would love to see you stream that.
Hey Emma! Love the content and ideas. Personally, I would put the Ewok village somewhere in the Disney park (as an attraction) it may blend better. Have a line que) people waiting to explore it. Beautiful layout though ❤️
My recommendation idea for your huge castle.maybe you can set it up from the movie Edward Scissorhands. Rememberhow his castle is far away from the neighborhood. That would be cool. I love your city .
Looks great, but it seems like the wood is bending slightly under the weight of the lego. you might want to do something about that before moving forward.
Looking good so far! Only thing that I think would be a imporant change to make, would be to change some parts about the 2nd corner garage, to make both a bit more different from each other..
Any thoughts on installing like a subway entrance since you plan on adding a train? Maybe you can save on bricks as well by just making like half of a subway style wall / track around the outside of the underground part of your city.
After viewing these videos, now I just wonder whether I want to continue to buy Lego , seems like displaying them is a mess, and possible dust collecting. To put these big size Lego together really seems messy and not fun, am I right ?
I must commend you on your hard work, Emma......... BUT...I'm not sure I love this change over the previous layout. I understand that you are trying to be as realistic as possible however placing the sesame Street next to the brick bank seemed none practical. And don't get me started with those revealing wood pieces. Yes I know its still a work in progress. I'm waiting to see the final delivery. Keep up the good work.
Hay y'all Emma an Ross Haveing fun with it you's are not the only one s that moved stuff few time s till happy with yar. Own Lego City 😊👍..enjoy the fun. Moveing and placing to you happy ..
Floofing heck. I love the raised section off the city. It's so surprising how much you can see from the elevation added. Can't wait to see what the castle looks like as the epic centrepiece.
How can we make our city even better going forward? Give us your ideas and feedback?🤗
Have a more realistic area on half and a more fantasy area on the other half but have Disney world be in the middle and lead into the more fantasy area
Maybe also have a train going to the fantasy area

oh my gosh. i LOVE this plan!! i'm so excited to see the outcome!!
oh yeah!!! the city is looking great!!
What you can do for the disney world is have roller coaster tracks going from the castle to the different elevations of disney world

I like the idea of have assembly square at the end of that road. Or Town Hall if you’re ever able to grab that set!
Add the town hall where you were gonna put the train station please!!!!!!!! It’s the perfect stop for it!!

The city looks really good Emily

Love the levels! Would be cool to have paths connecting the levels(if space permitted)
I hope to build a city one day. I have started collecting stuff for it. I guess that's a start. Can't wait to see what his do!
Awesome...

Thanks Emmasaurus. Your city is looking up.🤠

Excellent work on the city. A trolley running through the city would look great 👍
My recommendation idea for your huge castle.maybe you can set it up from the movie Edward Scissorhands. Rememberhow his castle is far away from the neighborhood. That would be cool.
I love your city .
I would put at least six legs or more under the large plate. will avoid a lot a friction. you can already see it bending a little.
Looks great, but it seems like the wood is bending slightly under the weight of the lego. you might want to do something about that before moving forward.

It's looking so great. Looking forward to watching it progress. Also, are those 6x6 posts at the back?
This is looking so good! I can’t wait to see what you do with it!
This channel is amazing!!!
No you're amazing!
I think you should put a basketball court behind the fire station
Make diagonalley in one of the free spaces
Great progress!!!!
How are cars supposed to get up to the highest part of the city?
It would be Nice if you put the town hall at the end of the street with the T. It would look nice
Interested to see how you’re going to tie in the different levels.
Not too sure if Star Wars should be incorporated. You have such a small space for your city. Maybe under the tables? Or your office?
TBH- the raised platform makes 0 sense to me
Cool
It's interesting but I am not sure it will work as well as brick built elevation.
Hey I have a question are you scared about the table breaking and if the table broke do you have a backup
After viewing these videos, now I just wonder whether I want to continue to buy Lego , seems like displaying them is a mess, and possible dust collecting. To put these big size Lego together really seems messy and not fun, am I right ?
It's not for everyone.
@@zookaton2940 yes I guess so
I believe you are going to have to brace that long piece of OSB or it will sag quite a bit.
One of the boards with the short legs is already starting to sag in the middle
Wow, I am hyped for the future of ladyburg
You should lower your table so that when the Eiffel Tower comes out, you have 5ft of clearance to incorporate it into your city :)
How about a community garden and 9 Starbucks.
City is looking great ❤️ is the Sesame Street rebrickable Modular just one set or two ?
Cool! 🎉
These are exciting changes. 👍🤩😎🔥

Add a subway system and sewer system
Yeah!
Maybe storm drain, rather than sewer drain? 🤢

How about adding one of the soccer stadiums to your city!
