It’s looking great, with the details on the hill! Hope you can add some details like the leaf elements, flowers, bushes, trees … keep up the great work!
Everything looks great in your city so far! In my old Lego city I had a 4 baseplate sized city square with a sidewalk that went all the way around it. I would change what was in the city square depending on the season. For example, during the winter I would put up a large Christmas tree and some builds from the winter village sets. For the fall I would put in a pumpkin patch, and the summer I would put in a large fountain and trees. I hope your city building continues to be a fun experience! Keep up the good work!
Very nice progress! Looks great! Two tips: 1. Instead of replacing the corners of the mils modules, build nice looking 2x32 modules to put on the outside of the end module. That way you can change whatever module is on the outside and just use the 2x32 modules to cover up the mils-internals. 2: find some nice table cloth to cover the structure/table legs. Works well on exhibitions and I think it will work well here as well :)
Love the updates! The tunnel idea will be a great addition, and the thought of using yellow trans for headlights is awesome! My one point of feedback that i would give would be that the bridge over the creek needs to be taller. From the camera angles, it looks like the minifigures wouldnt fit underneath it. Just my two cents. Love the progress!
Hi, try to mix your little green hill with more different green tones. you only need a few hundred 1x1 plates. you can also use some 1x1 plates in grey to simulate stones. after that you should place a lot of plants. use the dark tan 1x2 plates with the holes and the grass from pab wall. may they have the blossoms in different colors in the pab wall too. you will love the result. keep on moccing
Fun fact: Emily and Ross ARE mock builders :) the hill looks great. You'll need to make some extra tall trees so it's detail doesn't get lost in the leaves. It'll especially be great in the winter when minifigs get to bomb it with their snowboards and sleds
You need to get some wedge plates/curved slopes for the hill; to quote 'The Brickman' right angles do not look natural and will cause a build to not look organic.
It's looking so amazing. I am loving the more frequent city updates, it's evolving very well. The tunnel is looking great and I can't wait to see what you do with the headlight look. Maybe 1x1 round tiles on snot bricks? I love the well that Ross built it looks really good. All the Halloween/fall touches are amazing. The slope looks great and I love the layering with the brick wall behind it vs just sitting on top of it. Looking forward to the next update.
The hill looks really good! You can add trees/bushes to it as well. The tan wall behind the hill I would try to give a bit more structure to make it more interesting. You can put some SNOT bricks with vines/flowers on there, or make a crack in the wall, or some "damaged" section in different colors or adding 1x1 round plates or 1x2 bricks with grilles, SNOT bricks with tiles, log bricks, etc.
Maybe use cloth as a curtain. Use ball ends in Technic Bricks & a hole punch in the cloth. Put the cloth on upside down, then fold it down so the cut edge is hidden. Or use felt & hang it normal. Or maybe use SNOT Bricks & large Plates on their side to cover the edges of the raised platforms. Love what you're doing. Keep up the great content.....
Awesome...but I honest think your hill will look more realistic if you mixed different greens, maybe some greys for rocks and small browns for dead leaves, etc.
The stairs case you mock up is a great idea and I like it your trying to expand especially on the hill it look great the river might look more realistic with in depth color or edges more detail. Overall I love the way your city looks can't wait for the next update and see how much it will expand
City is looking good. If you're still planning on having underground stuff beneath the raised sections, then why not put something like a maintenance door in the park along the masonry brick wall? Just a thought.
It looks amazing, 10/10. I love your lego city. What you’ve done even with not building mocs before or things of your own design you’ve knocked it out of the park!
Loved the well. I will try that technique too but I am thinking about using a mix of gray and dark gray pieces to make it look like it is made from stones.
All MOC builders have to start out somewhere. MOCs>sets because it’s more difficult so definitely challenge yourself and take your time to get it right. Take your time and you’ll feel happier with your work. I’m liking what you’re doing with your river. Keep on bricking
Really love your hillside and the look in general of the entire nature landscape. I'm definitely going to take inspiration from your hillside technique for my own Lego world:D
You guys are doing a great job, terraforming takes time with LEGO, trial and error. Remember you can use Duplo bricks as frame work for large mountains or elevation
Just out of curiosity, have you thought about trying some tiles in your hill to smooth out some areas, perhaps peaks? You might consider using light gray cloth on the sides instead of bricks the eye would not be drawn to the cloth, and I think that would make the buildings stand out more. I really like what you have done so far.
The masonry wall behind the green brick hill you made, I feel, should be green, like the wilderness below it. Use masonry bricks for buildings, except for maybe around the staircase down...then use gray Mason brick mixed with regular brick. It will look much more realistic! And when you eventually build your trail track down under, and your portal through, use the gray masonry + bricks also. Or B.U.R.R.P.S. with added slopes. Just a thought. And I would make the bridge a bit higher...it doesn't look like the boat and passengers can fit!!! Overall, looking good!!! I like your updates on your city!!! (Must be a warm area if there are still swimmers out 😀)
The hill looks really cool! I think it would look really nice to add vines and overgrowth up the tan wall from the hill, mainly around where you are planning to add the staircase so it blends well!
I really like the progress you made! I love the idea about tunnel with headlights poking through, I wouldn’t have thought of that. Maybe for the walk that separates the city from the nature area you can add some snot bricks and some leaf pieces to look like ivy is climbing the walls
The grassy hill looks good but you might try getting those large 8x16 or 10x20 green brick plates to help build up the base layers for the hills, might help save on pieces???
Id make a cliffside to cover up the wood, Then you can add minifigure mountain climbers scaling it. Could even have a little tent thats hanging off the cliff side like real mountain climbers. Maybe build a small cave that goes into the hollow space under the cities structure
It's looking great so far! LOVE the pumpkin patch....definitely going to have to borrow that idea! I like the bridge, too and the angle it sits at. I feel like it could be a little bigger...the scale against the raft looks off, but maybe it's just me. That river though....so cool. Wish I had room for something like that. Looking good though! Especially for a non-moc builder ;)
I love your LEGO city!!! It is looking so amazing and I am excited to see it come together! It would be cool to put a little graffiti area on the wall with LEGO stickers on it! Just a little idea 😊
Great job! Just something to think about the tunnel. Speed champions car split in half. One half going in and one half going out!😁 What ever you guys do is going to be super cool in the end! Tell the olman I said hi and give lady a pet and a treat from Shawn from Ohio!
I think your Lego City is coming along quite nicely. To cover up the edge, I think a Lego wall with Lego themed graffiti might kind of look neat, and add a bit of grit. Otherwise, keep it up; it's looking great so far!
Love the rock cliff idea. I agree it’s cheaper to get bricks from The PAB wall. I keep checking for brick textured bricks and forest green bricks and tiles for my Fenway MOC, but they never have them. I will never be able to get into the Modulars and build a city simply because here in Boston, space comes at a premium, unlike Texas. For the side of the city to cover the elevated plates, I would consider building some caves that expose a fantasy underworld scene with trolls and other creatures, maybe a whole Fraggle Rock theme. That would be sick! Serious side question for you, What do you do for a living? My guess is definitely something where you interact with people a lot!
Hi & it's wonderful to see U & U'r husband enjoying U'r unique urban & rural landscape...the tunnel U're thinking about ...I have an idea 💡 if U slope the tunnel giving the appearance of a hill leaning towards the upper portion allowing the citizens to walk more effectively from elevation to the other...this might be effective for U'r layout & the staircase to the rural section might be easier for U if a terraced structure is integrated & might afford U to place trees to blend into a natural setting...fantastic job & look forward to seeing more. Much joy to U & U'r family .
Hi, your hill looks great. You should be proud of it...I too am a beginner with mocs and will have a go at creating landscape with plates as you did as 8t looks really great 🙂
I haven't put my stuff on mils yet, but I always assumed I would just make trim pieces that I could just attach to the technic bricks on the sides and just put them or move them wherever I needed.
The hill is litty but I think when u expand on it u should try to make the slope of it less consistent like make it look more like it was pushed up against the wall more natural. Make it more of a curve then a slope if that makes sense. But it’s still epic
I'm loving this! So many ideas I'm getting for my LEGO City! I'm curious, how would you advise doing like an underground section like a cave or even like ocean bottom? I want to put an Atlantis in mine.
Hay y'all Emma ..cool to cee you getting you city to more in thay way U whant it to be more so. Just haveing it ruffly done. Till needed to move the sets around .. I nerly got my tracks how I whant them now to get my train s running .😊👍 An do a vid update .plus
You know what would be a great idea ? A turtle lair under the raised part of the city
Robin Hood bricks already made a turtle lair
@@kindcity8722 Well it's just a little rabbit hole, it can be bigger and better
Ninja turtles 😁
And she should put the bat cave under her city to
I like the changes. If you don’t like the blocky or square look, use wedge plates in your landscaping to keep straight lines at a minimum.
It’s looking great, with the details on the hill! Hope you can add some details like the leaf elements, flowers, bushes, trees … keep up the great work!

Loving that LOTR ship!
Lilke the update looks very nice like Halloween city your doing great

2: find some nice table cloth to cover the structure/table legs. Works well on exhibitions and I think it will work well here as well :)
for the tunnels you could do a nose and tail build of cars to show them entering and leaving the tunnels. maybe even a half built car
Love the Halloween details to the Lego city
When you are doing you own creation landscape or mod build and a learn as you go. The more you build the better you become with color and build
Love the updates! The tunnel idea will be a great addition, and the thought of using yellow trans for headlights is awesome! This new city really challenged you. I think that’s the best you got from this and continued experience. I love watching the journey 🎉
I agree. This series is great and Emliy seems way happier with this city.
That tunnel looks dope Emily, don’t doubt yourself we all start somewhere. 👍👍
Great start to your green space. You just need to add to it with greenery to mimic nature. Look for leaves and shrub pieces I would say and some trees
Maybe use cloth as a curtain. Use ball ends in Technic Bricks & a hole punch in the cloth. Put the cloth on upside down, then fold it down so the cut edge is hidden. Or use felt & hang it normal.

Maybe use colored construction paper & hang it from pins or ball ends.
Oh, a corn maze would be dope.
Great city update your city looks really good so far Emily have a great week i have been a member of your channel for 1 year now
I love the additions to the city.
Awesome...but I honest think your hill will look more realistic if you mixed different greens, maybe some greys for rocks and small browns for dead leaves, etc.

Wow I love how you did the well! Looks great
The landscape looks better.
You can save money by using duplo under elevated things

Woww omg this is already so cool
Loved the well. I will try that technique too but I am thinking about using a mix of gray and dark gray pieces to make it look like it is made from stones.
I like how you made the treehouse more colourful with the purple leaves ☺️

Spooky Halloween to both of you. 😉
Around the river rocks and cheese slopes r ur best friend too use light bluish grey and dark blueish grey
Really love your hillside and the look in general of the entire nature landscape. I'm definitely going to take inspiration from your hillside technique for my own Lego world:D
Honestly I’m really impressed!! It looks really good!!
I love you’re city so far it’s amazing keep up the good work!❤
You’re amazing!! Love the progress and all that green really pops! Keep it up!

Like the landscape and the hill you made. Well done Emily.
I like the hill. What is the source of water for that river? Could use a dead end instead of a tunnel. Where is the coaster going?
It looks amazing. Loving the contrast between the country and city areas.

How about a Wile E Coyote splat sticker on your black tunnel wall. Lol
Hello Emma, the new city really looks good. The park area and your hill are fantastic, great job!
Love the off grid angled elements! Keep up the great work!

Emily this is a great stuff, I love the hill!! I'm glad to see you working on the stuff that you clearly enjoy and take pride in -- keep it up!!!!
Love your Lego city looks incredible
Great video
Wow! Your city and countryside is starting to look so good!
the city is looking great!!! you are doing a fantastic job
Hey moments of the magic
@@natemr4482 hey howdy hey.
Beauty 😢🎉👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 looks awesome
(Not going to lie) better than the last city!
I love how the hill came out!
I LOVE the hill! I think it looks very natural. Might make for a good sledding hill in the winter! 😊
The bridge should be taller. That raft wouldn't fit under it. For the tunnel you could build two half cars to show them entering and exiting.
You could put the Wile e Coyote and Roadrunner minifigs in front of the fake tunnels. Good work so far. It's all looking great.
It's looking great so far! LOVE the pumpkin patch....definitely going to have to borrow that idea! I like the bridge, too and the angle it sits at. I feel like it could be a little bigger...the scale against the raft looks off, but maybe it's just me.

No, it’s not a waste, the beauty of Lego is that it is easy to change! The more you build, the more you learn, so it’s never a waste!😊
Nice job. The organic hill with the plates works well.
A cave in the raised platform ?
I love your LEGO city!!! It is looking so amazing and I am excited to see it come together! It would be cool to put a little graffiti area on the wall with LEGO stickers on it! Just a little idea 😊
A look at the hill that you built..... It might benefit from having some flat smooth pieces put in the mix?....
Emily that green hill looks fantastic! And you figure you’re not a good MOC builder 😁 I’d say your city is on its way to being one of my favourites!
I use Lego Duplo bricks to build up for landscape, you can get them cheap on market place or yard sales,
Hey Emma perhaps placing some medium size trees throughout the grassy hills may help blend in things as well what’s your thought on the idea?
2:50 Put little creatures like squirrels bunnies and frogs would be nice to see 😊
Looks amazing and the hill came out great!
Em, it looks SOO good!! 👏🏻
This river is looking really great

Maybe, but if u wanted to do hills, maybe do some hinges or holder & Claw pieces + large plates, to make the hills? Still, a great layout.
Below the city on the side to cover up the wood maybe a batcave ? Maybe a spooky cave the Scooby gang is exploring
Love the rock cliff idea. I agree it’s cheaper to get bricks from The PAB wall. Absolutely love your city. Please never stop building 😉👍
I've been gone for several months..... Coming back, this looks amazing! Great job
Looks awesome! The city is coming along :-)
Gotta say it looks great! Love the hilly area! :)

Dude, yes you guys are! That city is looking awsome.
Also! For the tunnel, you can build a half car and have it leaving the tunnel!
