Jason, I'm so glad I found your UA-cam videos. I amazed at what you are able to do, so similar to my brother's can do attitude. Just look at what you have accomplished. As a single mom years ago I did things to remodel my home that now I look back on it and am amazed at what I accomplished with God's help. You learn to use what you have and not waste those things. Remember that God is always for you and is there to give you strength and help in your time of need. He is closer to you than a brother. Happy Building!!

Sadly, I lost my baby boy at age 22 in an auto accident. He was tatted, gauged and pierced! I love following you and your brother and wife. The homesteading community are bring back the way it's suppose to be. an absolute beautiful thing. much love from someone that hopes to be on land by next year. we have been working on getting their for a couple years now.

One of the best things in life is friendship. Real friendship is 100s of small things built into itself. Love, loyalty, caring, and so many others. You can tell that they really care about you. Once you are established you can return all of those blessings and complete the cycle. For the people that “hate” it’s pure jealousy because they see you and others in a relationship they wish they had. I think it’s awesome and that’s why I subscribed to you, your brother, and Dutch. I need to go over and subscribe to the guy who made the breakfast burritos too. It may be simple things to some but they mean the world when you are without everyday comforts. Awesome video and all of you guys are awesome too.
So glad to know you will be more safe and hopefully more warm. You may have moved away from blood but it sure seems like you still have family close by. Daniel, Dutch, Kevin, Vince and Bo all seem like great men to have as neighbors.

Me too!! I know how my fellow Okies are ( great ppl, good nieghbors and friendly- never being a stranger), but these guys and families are wonderful people. I'm so glad @Jason chose this property. It's beautiful and has so many possibilities. The road he took was the right one. I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Like, when Dutch & Brandy were watching Jason and Jaylena when there were in South East Oklahoma looking for property and said come on up. That he chose those pieces of property, met Bo. Now, Jason has so many great friends close enough by. He's in great company. @Arms family @Keeping It Dutch @Bo @Kevin @Vincent. Thank you for being there and supporting Jason with great fellowship, friendship and true brotherly love. I imagine it gets hard out there alone, even when you want to be. There's good days, bad days and in between. Moral can get low with no support from a community. What a happy New year it has become for him.
@Jason, great job on the build of the frame. I was going to suggest going to a site on fb that's out of Tahlequah to find a wood burning stove. Glad you got one. You're going to need it. Now's when it really gets cold and stormy and I was REALLY worried about you being in that tent.
I watch a YT channel and it's a tent like this, much bigger but he goes up in the winter and lives in it for a week, ice fishes and hunts. It's really cool what he did with a tent like that. It's a home! He freeze dries his own home grown veggies! I've never seen that! It's an idea for ya. So it just like canning. But that time will come. I'm happy for you to be safe and cozy and warmer in this structure than that little camping tent. Make you a little wood box to keep some wood inside the tent for feeding the fire at night. Get you a big stash cut up.
I'm sure your Mom and Dad are very happy that you have a wonderful support system. I know they rest well knowing you have great friends already two weeks into your new life. I think this shows the path you took, yet scary at first, but was the right choice. My hats off to ya kiddo! You're doing it! You're living your dream. I watched Matthew Posa tenting in the snow with a hot tent..I thought of Jason and when I saw it can have a stove I was definitely relieved..he can be toasty and dry now! If it's a relief to me, a total stranger, I am sure his parents must be even more so

Wow thank you to Kevin, Danial, and Dutch for doing this for Jason. I was worried about that pop up tent and knowing what our winters are like up here I was worried about him making it through down there (daughter was in Purcell for 3 months and was back home just before christmas last year). That tent brings back a lot of memories from when I was very young. We used to have a smaller green army tent (might have been a 8x10) for camping as a young kid (under 10 yrs old I think it was) I vaguely remember it before my parents bought a popup palomino camper. Really miss camping.

We bought a tiny cabin for our family of 7. Will start working on it in the next few weeks. Currently living in 2 camper trailers. Keep these videos coming!

Put that tent that Vincent brought up on the back door of ur canvas tent put a few black tarps up inside it. Then get u a large tote u can sit stand in & u have a bath/shower😁
